To ensure that the bonus was working, you would need to look at the
amount of experience needed to level up the crew member before and
after the battle and see that they earned 50% more than expected
without the bonus.

Captain_Judo: Often times teams are short by only 1 or 2 players to meet the
minimum requirement. The team registration count can be
misleading.
