maybe they used gold and you didnt
this blows brother

Captain_Judo: Solid feedback, CBA.
The problem I foresee with "first to break a rule" is that replays aren't time stamped.
And for the record, because it seems this is getting glossed over, the OP ultimately won his appeal and advanced. His grievance is with the process.

View PostJoe_B, on Mar 07 2013 - 05:25, said: Well Judo, the proof is there at least for one of the teams to be DQ'd.  As for whether or not that 5th game involved cheating by both parties... yes that needs to be determined....  but come on... you can't let one team slide through by cheating and there being a "technicality" to the proof. One game of cheating should be enough to DQ.
And people don't come to post stuff on the forums until after WG does something dumb...
If you guys had DQ'd the 4x cheaters, this would have stayed a private matter.
If we come to find that the OP's team cheated in game 5 (the one with no replay) then they get the boot too.

Captain_Judo: You have to keep in mind that skirmishes only allow us less than 24 hours to resolve DQ matters.
The OP's opponent was disqualified. Next, the OP simply needed to provide the replay to the missing battle. It's not a tall order, really.

Captain_Judo: Not at all, Plunky. In this case, the cheating team had been identified. You would still need to provide evidence that you played by the rules, in all battles, so that you may advance in their place.

I would think for issues of transparence you would want them in the open proving you have nothing to hide. That issue aside, he has a very good point, if not made in the best way. If he has the replayes showing that the other team brought in an over tier tank even once, then that team should have been disqualified. If his team had brought in the wrong tanks just once, then the other team should need to provied the replay showing that. In rare cases you might need all 5 but this was not one of them.
Please forgive my spelling and have a nice day  :Smile_Default:

Captain_Judo: The reason for keeping DQ decisions away from the public forums is to simply avoid naming, shaming and flaming. As you can imagine, dialogue between both sides can get heated and it's unnecessary to highlight any ugly side of such dialogues.
I'd like to leave this thread open for the simple fact that it adds some said transparency to this process.
It's very simple: when you apply for a dispute to disqualify a team, bring all of your replays. Not just the ones that suit you best. But all of your replays.

So teams who lost last week go to open division or teams that lose this week go to Open division. can someone explain this whole thing in a simple sentence?

Captain_Judo: RedPrince nailed it.
I'd also like to add that while teams must be invited to the Major League and Minor League, the "Open League" is open to an unlimited number of teams. Registration for this league will open shortly before the Major League & Minor League qualifiers close.

I wonder how does the disqualification works?, i mean, if a team didn't show in week 3 because they knew had no chance, what difference being disqualified would make?.
And i don't think ANY other team that would miss 2 matches in a row had any chance of getting on the top 3 anyway.
So, what's the point of the disq system?, is it for barring entry of those players/teams for future tourneys(which would be welcome btw), or has some team on the "top 3" of a group dropped 2 matches and will be disualified? (will you publish a list of disqualified teams judo?)

Captain_Judo: The DQ system was actually enforced during the 3rd week of Round 1. Several groups may have noticed that they were automatically granted a win versus certain teams.
There are no teams, qualified for Round 2, in imminent danger of disqualification due to our technical victory/no-show rule.

If the situation arises again maybe you could have the winning teams from the brackets fight for an additional prize.  Sorry getting greedy. :Smile_Default:

Captain_Judo: I'm happy to hear this change was well received  :Smile_Default:
Just keep in mind that we felt compelled to add the additional playoff because there were enough teams (and some left over) for a full, second 64-team playoff.

Captain_Judo: It's every team's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the rules. This also works, mentally, to your advantage.
