vehicle movement physics, which will change the way tanks maneuver
through battle. The game sounds are more robust than

agreed The_Chieftain: I'm afraid to say I've seen them all, I was not impressed.
The blueprints were incomplete (I have the engine deck of T34 but
not much else, for example), or too big to fit in their scanner so
I had to take photographs and composite. The T26E3 plans were the
most complete, and they did have plans for the improved turret for
the M4A3E2 which would have been used had they restarted production
in early 1945 as was being contemplated. On related matters,
finding usable photos of the T101 pilots (M56 SPAT) is proving very
difficult. DTIC's ones are terrible quality.

are mounting points which can be used for stub wings on the CH-53's
blisters. Of course, I've only seen drop tanks mounted there, and
they are so short as to not add lift. Doesn't mean to say that one
-couldn't- put wings there. And besides, they can add lift
for the transport role. Witness the Mi-6's wings, that's a heavy
lift chopper. And even in the attack role, the stub wings add lift
for the Hind.

update clientGhostPrime: You will need to run the game launcher in order to update
the game client. The game launcher is located in the
World of tanks install folder on your C drive. (That's the default
insatll location) Please go to:
C:/games/world_of_tanks (This is the main install folder.)
Then, find the file called: "WoTlauncher.exe" (It may just be
called "Wotlauncher"
Double click on that file
and it should open the game launcher and update the game.

will be a maximum of 9 battles. Each of those battles will be
played on one map. On Saturday at 1500 PT (Group Stage Round
2), there will be a maximum of 9 battles. Each of those battles

Stage Round 3), there will be a maximum of 9 battles. Each of those
battles will be played on one map. Across the three days,
there will be five group stage rounds. Each round (max of 9 battles

old.. dance210: It seems as though this new system doesn't allow registration to
continue after the tournament has started, even if it says
registration doesn't end until Thursday. This is something that we
didn't realize would happen, so we will have to adjust things going
forward. For Skirmish X, registration will close Monday
morning for both weeklong and weekend registrations, out of
necessity. However, for both Skirmish IX and Skirmish X, any
weekend teams can send an email to tournaments@wargamingamerica.com
to request roster additions/deletions or to ask us to submit the
team. Teams can send any requests for Skirmish IX until 8 am PT on
Friday. If there are any questions, let me know!

tournaments@wargamingamerica.com or send me a forum PM with what
change needs to be made. I will also pass this suggestion on to the
devs. No. Unfortunately, we use tools in ways that they were
never intended. One of the....side effects that we weren't aware of
is that once the tournament starts, teams can no longer get to the
registration page, even if registration is still open. So for now,
registration will have to be closed on Sunday. If teams want to
make changes or submit their team between Sunday and Thursday, they
can send in an email to tournaments@wargamingamerica.com and I will
be more than happy to help. The long term solution may be to
separate the weekend playoffs from the Skirmish, and form their own
tournament. Or, to make a different tournament that only runs
Fri-Sat-Sun (or even Sat-Sun).

below 20 tier points. If there are any restrictions, it will be
under "Additional Information" and/or in the Regulations section.

They are sending out one before every battle. For the group stage,
that means 7 notifications per round.

Madness!! 1. There are specific times to play. The schedule
for you, directly from the tournament page
Friday, March 18th - 1800PT
Saturday, March 19th - 1500 PT Saturday March 19th - 1800 PT Sunday
March 20th - 1500 PT Sunday March 20th - 1800 PT 2. Each
day/time is a separate group stage (also called round
robin) round. That means that there is one round on Friday,
two rounds on Saturday and two rounds on Sunday. Each round has a
maximum of 9 battles. Battles last for a maximum of 10 minutes.
Within a round, battles start every 10 minutes. So, taking
Friday, March 18th - 1800 PT as an example, the battles will start
as follows: 1800 PT 1810 PT 1820 PT 1830 PT 1840 PT 1850 PT 1900 PT
1910 PT 1920 PT 3. Each group stage round will be played on
one map. Special battles will pop up in game 10 minutes before the
battle actually starts. There is also ~3 minutes between battles,
assuming the game goes the full 7 minutes. So, there should be
plenty of time to change line-ups and go over strats between
battles
4. I'm going to let the
players answer this one. IMO, the line-up depends on the map. A map
like Ensk would lean towards a heavier, brawling line-up while an
open map like Prokhorovkha may benefit from more medium/light
tanks. 5. When you load in, you will see what tanks the
enemy team is bringing. However, just like a regular random battle,
the actual tank won't be visible until someone on your team spots

adjustments to it as we move forward. Even when we were testing the
new system, I requested player feedback. I am continuing to send
this feedback up the chain, to get some changes made. 2. I've
already requested that the devs add back the search bar. Thanks for
your extremely intelligent, polite and well-thought out comments...
3. The forum discussion is for the benefit of the players, so they
can talk to each other. If you don't like it, I can very easily
remove the discussion from all future tournaments. As I
can't see this thread going any further from here, I'm closing it.

traverse (skidding, sliding). Reworked the behavior of vehicles

current FMOD sound engine with Audiokinetic Wwise. This allows
to process sounds on a separate core, which improves the
performance of multi-core hardware systems practically on all
configurations. Reworked the sounds of the basic subsystems: The

current system of calibers has been kept. The sounds of loading
guns. The sound corresponds to a particular caliber and depends on
