GhostPrime:   Please try and start the game in safe mode. This seems to help a lot of players. In addition, deleting the game's preferences file has helped a few. 

Saffr0n:   My suggestion isn't to oust anyone using mods or to force them to disable it. Some of our staff are experiencing similar issues and the two common workarounds (because they're not legitimate fixes) is to run the game in safe mode or like gybob suggested, clear appdata.    For those experiencing resolution issues, you can launch the game with reset graphic settings by using the WoTLauncher options that are coupled with the orange play button. 

Saffr0n: It's Thursday, we have regularly scheduled maintenance on this day...   For those having synchronization errors (spinning cog) try launching your game in Safe Mode (sorry this disables your mods)

dance210:   All valid disputes were dealt with. If no one sent in a report that a player brought an illegal tank, then I can't punish a player. I granted you a "win" for round 7, basically moving each player up a prize bracket. So if the standings said you came in 4th place, you were paid the 3rd place prize.   Without knowing your team name, I'm afraid I can't answer why you were in 4th place if you only lost to one other player.   You are welcome to submit a Support ticket; however they will simply send you back to eSports and/or give you the same answer.

The_Chieftain:   The man who fired the fatal shot was Constable Curtis Barett, despite the initial reports. That said, Vickers did engage in the gunfight and hit his target a few times. I don't think he need fear Irish repirsal. If you look at the still photos, you can see the confusion on the soldiers' faces. "Should we help? I think we should help. But we're told to stand here, ceremoniously.."

GhostPrime: Dear Tankers, Thank you for pointing out the issue with the rental system where you could sell the rentals for credits after the 9.15 update.Good news! This morning's update has fixed this issue, and selling rental will no longer give credits in return.  For those of you that have sold your rentals for the extra credits, how do you plan to spend them? Please create a ticket to support if you have any questions or should any issues arise     

veganzombiez: Hi guys, So right now, theoretically, any clan can own any number of provinces.  Here are two features we're discussing at WG: Max Division Limit (6-8) Clans can only have a maximum of 6-8 Divisions Max Province Income Limit (8-10) Clans can own infinite provinces, but only receive income from 8-10 Possibilities are highest income, oldest, newest, closest to HQ, etc.  Which one would you prefer, if any?  Or do you have another idea? Please remember that this thread is for discussing this feature only.  Unrelated posts may be removed.

GhostPrime: The server went down for maintenance, some issues were addressed.  I apologize for the communication issue. The server should now be available. 

The_Chieftain: I don't remember your history question.   So, apparently that Canadian Sergeant-at-Arms from a couple of years ago is now the Canadian ambassador to Ireland. GhostPrime:   Go into your %appdata%\worldoftanks folder and delete your game preferences by deleting the worldoftanks folder. That will reset all of the game's settings. If you are still having the same problem, you can force it by editing the preferences file itself, but that's not recommended unless you know how that works. PM me for those details.   

dance210:   Correct. It is set up so the low tier tournaments don't give out as much gold, so they can't earn the highest tank prizes. Even if low tiers had their own overall standings, the tank prizes would have been lower. This incentivizes higher tier play, and rewards those who do well in the higher tiers.

dance210:   Not quite. Each day, the top four in each group will receive a gold prize. If there are 10 groups, there will be 40 teams winning. Fifty groups mean 200 teams winning. Each group has a max of 10 teams, so the more groups there are, the more winners here could be.

GhostPrime:   Have you tried deleting your preferences? Please submit a ticket to support. They should be able to help you out.    

GhostPrime:   Make sure all your video drivers are up to date. In addition delete your game preferences file.  Please click on your start menu and in the search/run box type "%appdata%\wargaming.net" (without the quotes) and press enter, then in the folder that comes up we would like you to delete the worldoftanks folder. Then run the game.

GhostPrime:   Yes, please keep in ind that Mods are 3rd party programs and need to be updated for them to work. Please keep this in mind for every patch. Mods will break things at first, until the mod is updated for the new client.

The_Chieftain: I'm looking at where the breech is in that proposed cut-away drawing, seeing how close it is to the turret ring (which is about 10% smaller than the M4's turret ring) as well as how close it is to the rear turret wall, and trying to figure out how there is enough room to line up a 75mm shell behind the breech in order to insert it into the gun. I'm not seeing it.

GhostPrime:   The resolution will scale with the window size. If you maximize the window it will be a full screen windowed mode. You will need to go into the game settings and change it to fullscreen mode.

GhostPrime:   The folder is named wordOftanks, and should be the only one in there you have other than the CT version. It will reset all your preferences, please keep that in mind. Please submit a ticket if the issue continues. 

GhostPrime:   Please click on your start menu and in the search/run box type "%appdata%\wargaming.net" (without the quotes) and press enter, then in the folder that comes up we would like you to delete the worldoftanks folder. Then run the game.   Moved thread to general discussion. 

GhostPrime:   That is correct! Once the mission has been completed you will see the rental(s) in your garage.
