tournaments (7/20-7/22) - the payout was approved today and will be
going out by end of day tomorrow
The bracket issue was fixed after it was brought to my attention, and we've got some new tools for automated prizing that we will be using for tournaments moving forward (just got access to the tool this weekend and this weekend's tournaments are already built-out with prizes, so you guys will be getting prizes for this weekend's tournaments shortly after their conclusion instead of over a week later.

HI_FIVE, on Jul 30 2018 - 10:49, said: Once dance left.Tournaments took a nose dive.DomoSapien: It's not really just Dance. We used to have an entire
department dedicated to eSports. Now it's two of us running
tournaments for the entire region. Good news is we might be
taking a few more tournament folks under our wing, because
planning, building out, and prizing out the tournaments on a weekly
basis while maintaining our regular responsibilities as CC's is
extremely labor-intensive. BooP has been helping us with payouts
here and there so we're hoping to bring him onboard. Soccer
tournaments were a different beast altogether, one that turned out
to be far more complex than initially anticipated.
Also, if I may make a recommendation: if you need our visibility on something, the best thing you can do is send me and Jambijon a group PM. We're guaranteed to see the notification for the PM, we might miss a thread.

reminds me of a time a few years back when I was based in the UAE
for an 8 month contract to fly global freight routes commanding
Boeing 747-200F planes. I had a lot of time off and found a
great entertainment complex that had, among many other things, a
1,000 foot RC model runway, with a fully lighted surrounding area
for night flying (in order to avoid the 125F summer heat of the
daytime). A group of us, all contract freight pilots, joined
the RC club. The Arabs who frequented the club were all very
wealthy and brought large multi-engine and or jet powered models to
fly there. One day, another captain and I were at the model
field alone and after flying in the heat of the day for as long as
we could stand it, I had a brainstorm. The sandy desert area around
the runway was littered with crashed RC models and many of them had
somewhat usable bits and pieces surviving because the wealthy
Emiraties couldn't be bothered to salvage smashed models. My
friend and I scoured the grounds and salvaged a wing here, a half
fuselage there, a slightly damaged landing gear, etc., until we put
together enough junk to actually build a "Frankenstein" RC plane.
It was hilarious, after 2 or 3 days of patching the thing
together, we actually ended up with a flyable model plane. When we
flew it (it didn't fly very well), the rich Arabs got a real kick
out it.

TeriyakiTanker: I think the reason it will take that long, and why it should
concern people, is that they just recently realized they have a
problem and even more recently what that problem is. This
indicates to me a serious disconnect between the decision makers
and reality. The numbers don’t lie and it simply can’t be
argued that the concurrent server population is down 30 - 40% since
9.18 and the 3/5/7 mm was released. Recognizing and fixing
the problem shouldn’t have taken 2 years. Hell I feel that
way and I really like the game!

TeriyakiTanker: I was a huge BiA fan when I first started playing the game but now
I feel that it isn’t needed until st least the third if not fourth
skill. With low tier mediums I would suggest starting with
everyone on cammo and changing the commander to sixth sense when he
gets to 100%. After that go all repairs for your second
skill. Third skill I would suggest commander recon, gunner
snap shot, driver off road driving, radio operator take situational
awareness, loader retrain second skill to safe stowage and start on
repairs again. Don't get me wrong, bia is nice but I feel
cammo and repairs is better. Just my two cents.

while there are many anecdotes a great number of WoT players use
(and used) mods. A user on the subreddit thread downloaded

criterio. ¡Saludos!

provinces. This will prevent dominant clans from having the ability
to build up a defense around the Firefly Provinces before they
switch.
edit: the provinces in each region are different, so there is no way for any clans to get access to this information ahead of time.

Senator_Ratbat: Wassup WarChild! I'm getting my battle count up and learning
the game some more before I let loose on the forums. I personally
feel like I have to have some baseline knowledge to better interact
with everyone here. Gonna get some coaching from better folks on
the WGNA team as i'm finding my Blitz skillz don't always translate
so well. On TR, I wanted to get the team settled in first. I
had a chance to get an into to TankRewards before the move over but
it was clear we couldn't tackle this while a lot of things are in
flux. I'll keep y'all posted on progress.

tanks I like the most tends to change with time. However, these
tanks (in no particular order of preference) are the most enduring:
T49, with either gun. The 90mm if I want a very nice, easy to play
light tank. 152mm gun if I want some gits and shiggles. M46 Patton.
Great all rounder, and amazingly comfortable AMX 30 1er. Same as
the M46 Patton, but it gives up some of the comfort for additional
mobility. AMX M4 51. A newer tank, but a definite favorite so far.
Great mobility, great frontal armor, and an amazing gun make for a
tank made to play aggressively. E75. Solid, easy to play,
consistent, and a great holding tank. Something I like to play if I
want a brick that can take the punishment, hold, or push at will.
T-54. One of the best tanks at tier 9 in my opinion, and one of the
best tanks for carrying pubs. The combination of mobility, armor,
DPM, and vision control make for a tank that can get away with
retardedly aggressive plays that most other tanks would die
attempting. T-10. A great heavium tank, that makes for an insanely
good medium-tank bully. The mobility and amazing gun work well
together. M48 Patton. The ultimate definition of a comfortable
tank, and one of the best pubbing tanks around. A jack of all
trades, that lacks for nothing but top speed and some camo.
Progetto 46. Another newer tank, but one that has rapidly become my
favorite credit grinder in the game. It's powerful, but it also
provides the challenge of getting the maximum potential out of the
gun. T20. Gotta give this thing a shoutout, since it was my first
3-marked tank, and is still my favorite tier 7. I rarely play it
anymore, but I always enjoy it when I do. It will always have a
place in my garage. I also have to give a shoutout to 2
tanks whose past iterations would've made the list. The old AMX 30
1er. While the new version is good, the old was also a great tank.
The gun felt so precise, between the pen, shell velocity, and
accuracy. It made for a tank that felt very consistent. The old SP
I C. A hidden jewel of a tank. A great scout due to the great camo
and view range, and a decent damage dealer as well due to the good
pen and quirky autoloader. At the same time, it was not an easy
tank to play, and it was definitely odd. However, when played
correctly, it was amazing. I believe my highest damage tier 7 game
is in the SP I C, at 4.6k, in a tier 9 game on Mines. It's sad that
those two tanks are no more (at least in that form).

out of the gun is rewarding. VK 28.01 one of my first
"Proscouts". It's a shadow of itself without the derp but
still workable.

tanks I like the most tends to change with time.
It's sad that
those two tanks are no more (at least in that form).Hambijon:

therapy, all others are Heretics. Who wouldn't like a
KV-2 that goes 60? T-100 LT, the scout of scouts. ELC Even 90.
Wally to the Bally Leopard PTA, one of the better paper meds that I
can make work. IS-3, it really does not get any better with
the Russian Bias bonus. T71-CMCD, a left over no one likes but I
think its better than the DA. LTG, "I will weep for you, little one
so that others might know your plight" @WanderJar AMX 30 1er.

been derped to oblivion with it multiple times, and plus I like the
big-boom tanks. I'm glad you included the
T20 churchill50. That thing was a really nice
surprise. Such a solid tank imo

DomoSapien: Tankers, You may have noticed a couple provinces on the Global
Map that award substantially more Gold dividends than their
surrounding neighbors. Not to worry, this is not a glitch, it
is by design. You may have seen some information posted about
Firefly Provinces to other regions, so we wanted to take a minute
and make sure you're up-to-speed on how these will work in our
region. These provinces will change location on two separate
occasions:
August 7th - 12:00 UTC (5:00 PT | 7:00 CT | 8:00 ET)
August 27th - 12:00 UTC (5:00 PT | 7:00 CT | 8:00 ET) Their new locations are going to be a well-kept secret until they are revealed, so be prepared to act fast!
A few things to keep in mind, unique to Firefly provinces:
- The Ransack function will remain switched on for these provinces.
- Firefly Provinces will not revolt. Good luck, have fun, and stay classy.
