The Arabs who frequented the club were all very wealthy and brought large multi-engine and or jet powered models to fly there.   One day, another captain and I were at the model field alone and after flying in the heat of the day for as long as we could stand it, I had a brainstorm. The sandy desert area around the runway was littered with crashed RC models and many of them had somewhat usable bits and pieces surviving because the wealthy Emiraties couldn't be bothered to salvage smashed models.   My friend and I scoured the grounds and salvaged a wing here, a half fuselage there, a slightly damaged landing gear, etc., until we put together enough junk to actually build a "Frankenstein" RC plane.   It was hilarious, after 2 or 3 days of patching the thing together, we actually ended up with a flyable model plane. When we flew it (it didn't fly very well), the rich Arabs got a real kick out it.

KRZYBooP:   Oh sweet Jimminy Christmas please send pics of the Frakenstien Plane.

KRZYBooP:   How does one avoid cuts while jamming out to smooth criminal? Is it worth the risk of loosing fingers?    I believe it's Italleri, and it was found under a desk.
