I'm new enough to not know if there is a reason why we don't. I
think it would help change up and keep things fresh.

market and a dwindling player base. would be wonderful if you
had the credit equivalent to gold for de-mounting equipment, and
retraining crews as well so its more about free to play, and not
free to play, but still pay. de-mounting equipment requires paying
as well, if you want to retrain your crew at 100%, it also
requires paying. but then again, why you have to pay to retrain a
crew back to a tier they were already trained in, makes little
sense. I understand if you train hypothetically from the Hellcat
to the 25/2 and so forth on up to tier 10. but if I take that
same exact crew from the 25/2, and want to put them back into the
hellcat, i shouldn't have to retrain them since they were already
trained in the hellcat.. I don't think my crew has Alzheimer's, or
Amnesia.. but i know, its just another money grab to help support
the people who can't or won't pay anything towards the game.
Dead_Zombie, on Sep 26 2018 - 12:32, said: My friends and I finally decided to take the plunge and cough up
the gold to start our own clan, so of course WG immediately drops
the gold requirement. It's like getting trolled by the MM all
over again!
That said, we're looking forward to see what
changes are coming, as we haven't yet taken part in any clanwars
activities.

silly question - can you join strongholds, currently, if you're not
in a clan, as a legionnaire for example? Theoretically even if
there is a strongholds tab and it goes away for non-clan players,
they should still be able to receive Stronghold invites.

think Drone and Dominator make some good points. Rotating
strongholds tiers might be interesting.

the player base improve, and help increase the number of people

have been told there is data which shows that players who join
clans progress through the game and improve more quickly, and there
is data which shows that players who join clans end up sticking
around and playing the game more actively, for a longer period of
time overall.
So perhaps making clans, clan wars, and clan content more accessible to more players is one of the solutions for said dwindling playerbase? There is also a possibility that an increase in Global Map participation by smaller or less-well-established clans could be used to demonstrate a need for substantially more provinces on the Global Map, which I know is something many clans have been quite vocal about for a while now. This is something that 1984BigBrother (our CS and Clans specialist) and I have been discussing in detail recently, and while we are just two members of the NA team we are happy to advocate on behalf of our community. But it's definitely a two-way street.

cumbersome, I unfortunately lack the data science and monetization
expertise to comment on how this would impact our business model as
a whole. Happy to forward the suggestion to the money folks,

DomoSapien: Hey Tankers, We've got some exciting news to share with you
about Clans. Specifically, Clan management.
Starting October 10th, creating a clan will no longer require players to pay 2,500 Gold. Instead, the new cost for clan creating will be 1,000,000 Credits.
In addition, joining a clan will earn you a pretty sweet set of Camo Patterns for your tanks.
Finally, we are improving clan recruitment! We're adding an in-game clan search function for players who are not currently in a Clan. Clans can choose to allow players to join without approval, as the customary application-and-teamspeak-interview process might be a bit intimidating for some folks
Personally, I'm pretty excited for these changes - most players tend to drastically improve their performance on the battlefield once they join a Clan. Making clans more accessible to less-experienced tankers, and encouraging players to join "Beer and Pretzel" (casual) clans should help more players progress more quickly, and enjoy the game on a competitive level. For a refresher on the details, as well as a sneak-peek of the new camo patterns, head on over to the article on our news portal.

DomoSapien: Hi folks,
I inquired with the team about Daily Insurance and here's my understanding:
Daily Insurance is essentially another form of Personal Reserves. The reason it's not currently available for all users is that it is currently in a testing phase as we understand it's a pretty radical concept and we want to get a better understanding around it before rolling it out entirely. That said, I understand the top player requirement is to mitigate a potential botting issue, as well as to ensure that your Insurance Reserves aren't being depleted on underwhelming battles that wouldn't net you much profit anyway. I also understand that the concept of Daily Insurance and its execution might be controversial to some players; many of you have already shared your opinions on the matter with us. Rest assured your feedback is not falling on deaf ears. We will be keeping a close eye on feedback threads regarding this new type of reserve and passing your sentiment on to our monetization teams.

with the lighter armor tended to win. See France 1940, or France
1944. And then if you look at the vehicles which were produced
after the war, the Germans and French came out with Leopard 1 and
AMX-30, both of which sacrificed armor to a large extent for speed.
There is a place for heavy armor and a powerful gun, but I
don't know if one can say it was a given that they should be
present at the cost of speed and mobility. The opinion of the
world's tank designers seemed to be split in the cold war period
until engine and armor technology caught up to the point that one
didn't necessarily have to make that choice any more. (This
notwithstanding the Soviet matter of attempting to build tanks
supportable in an offense involving built bridges and an increasing
logistical trail)

¡Saludos!

pickpocket293, on Sep 24 2018 - 11:08, said: It's pretty funny how On-tracks used to give 3 pieces of (relevant)
equipment and a tier 5-6 premium that was relevant to the line
(Chi-Nu Kai for Japanese mediums, for instance) and now all we get
are locusts (and now we've sunk even lower, to a T2 Light,
literally the lowest, cheapest premium available) that has
absolutely no relevance to the line that's on-track. I mean, even
when it's easy like now... The USSR Mediums have LOADS of low tier
prems that could've been given as a reward, but that would require
some coding or something... So it's better to just keep it as a T2
Light. Extremely disappointing. If you want people to
participate in events, you should try making it worth their time.
Just a thought. Personally, I'll be using the event to buy a 430 II
and then shelving it for a few months.

fan of the tank or have it then you get 320k credits and a garage

There was an error in the setup that had a bunch of provinces listed in LATAM that has since been corrected. Some people may still be seeing that, a cache clear should show the map as it is now - fixed (according to 1984BigBrother).

Alright, it was a very, very, very tough call between Gravtech and Mkroets' guides. By a hair, I'm going to have to give it to Gravtech. Both guides are extremely informative, but I gotta give Gravtech some extra points for the Photoshop work because I know just how time-consuming that part of the process can be, and in general I think this helps present the information in a more manageable, easy-to-follow way. of updating here.
As far as that sort of specific feedback, we do our best but it is not practical or even possible to do so on an individual level. NA is one of the smaller regions for World of Tanks and we still receive thousands of ideas, suggestions, and pieces of feedback a week. Generally in software development resources are allocated to specific projects several months in advance, so there is no one sitting idly waiting for ideas to come in and try because they are constantly working on something that was conceived beforehand. We do what we can to raise the issues players find important to that process so resources can be allocated to them, but not all players (and even developers) are ever going to agree on the chosen scheduling.

We do what we can to raise the issues players find important to that process so resources can be allocated to them, but not all players (and even developers) are ever going to agree on the chosen scheduling.

jogo?

Gnomon: Hey, everyone! I have a bit of Supertest news for
you! Today, we’re starting the test of a new Soviet Tier
VIII Premium tank destroyer, the SU-130PM. While tuning its stats,
we used the SU-100P as a base. The SU-100P was a post-WWII light TD
prototype, aimed at gradually replacing the SU-76M. A fully
operational unit passed the trials, and the SU-100P was greenlit
for army service, yet it did not enter mass production. The test
unit now resides in the Kubinka Tank Museum. What will it be
like in-game?
The main difference between the game version and the completed prototype is the armament: in-game it boasts a more powerful 130mm cannon. Gameplay-wise, the SU-130PM is a compact vehicle with decent mobility, great camo and a hard-hitting gun with an alpha of 520 and a penetration of 243 mm with a standard round.
You can hardly call this gun a sniper as its base accuracy is 0.35, but it still allows you to be effective at almost any distance. It should be noted that the base aiming time is 2.3 seconds, so you won’t be able to fire from the hip. Before picking your target, you’ll need to prepare.
The SU-130PM is agile enough to benefit from switching flanks and firing positions. Its top speed is 65 km/h but it’s attainable after a period of time and on terrain with good traction—off-road it doesn’t perform so well. The cruising speed of the SU-130PM is between 45–55 km/h. Screenshot
Still
looks enticing, so what’s the catch?
Well, the SU-130PM is scantily armored, has a small HP pool (1100 points), and a limited horizontal firing arc of 155 degrees. To survive in battle, you’ll need to rely on camouflage and using your mobility wisely.
Drawing a line: we’re going to battle-test a mobile but squishy Soviet TD—a dedicated damage dealer with camo-based play, which changes its position a lot. It’s a relatively complex, but rewarding vehicle, which has everything it needs to be efficient in battle. The trials will define what will become of the SU-130PM. As always, its stats are not final and may change depending on test results. Let us know what you think! Thanks, everyone, and see you out on the battlefield!
