I intentionally didn't launch an article in July so that we can compare the data from May with the data from July and see if there is any quantifiable difference in participation.

I'm also aiming for getting everyone 3 extra tokens like we did in May.

Jambijon: Attention Tankers! It’s a matter of days that British high-tier light tanks will crash into World of Tanks, with stealth and surprise being their element.As you know, all high-tier light tanks are born scouts. But the role can be played differently. As for the British, they do it by leveraging their small dimensions, a good view range and outstanding guns. So, the very combination gives you a clear clue how to use these vehicles to the best result: nothing is better than to recon the enemy’s position while firing them from the least expected places.Let’s take a closer look at the newcomers. All in all, four vehicles will be added to the British Tech Tree, all researchable from the Cromwell, a Tier VI medium tank. So, the complete branch goes as follows:  GSR 3301 Setter (Tier VII)  LHMTV (Tier VIII)  GSOR3301 AVR FS (Tier IX)  Manticore (Tier X)  It’s too early to reveal the specs of Tier VII to IX vehicles as their fine-tuning is in its full swing. We have come up with a concept for the entire of batch of British tanks and now want to test it on the top vehicle. What is known for sure is that all tanks will sport small dimensions (e.g. the LHMTV is smaller than the Bat-Chat 12t, while the profile AVR FS can be compared to that of the AMX 13 90), as well as imposing concealment abilities and a decent view range. The branch is topped by the Manticore, a X Tier light tank. The name fits it perfectly as it is nothing short of a controversy of a vehicle. Despite being quite small (the Manticore is smaller than the T-100LT), it manages to bear a huge 105mm gun with excellent characteristics. Imposing armor penetration (248 mm with the standard AP round and 268 mm with the special APCR round), the alpha strike of 390 points, decent stabilization (when firing from a stationary position)—the vehicle’s got everything to be sought after. But let’s face it: it’s not perfect. Its DPM is far from impressive (4.29 shots per minute). Its stabilization when firing on the move is low. Its ammunition is so precious that you’ll have to think over each shot you are about to make. The Manticore is predator that can wait, while opting for the best place to perform the best. Once the battle begins, it takes a beneficial position to scout and inform its team on the enemy positioning. It doesn’t have to run about the map—other light tanks will do it for the Manticore. Instead, it moves from one position to another, while gradually gaining its tactical advantage. Yes, the tank can play as a scout (and this is where its small dimensions will come in handy). But it’s passive scouting while providing fire support from a distance where its talents shine the brightest.Each moment, you have to assess the situation and make decisions: is it safe to move further? Is it worth taking a shot to finish off the enemy? Or will your shot just give you away? Because, on the one hand, it’s a shame to keep such a gun idle. But on the other hand, one shouldn’t neglect the tank’s key role (that of a scout).This is where the zest of playing the Manticore lies. You have to grasp its controversial nature and, having found the perfect balance between the passive scouting and active firing, tame this steel beast. Yes, it’s a challenge, but be sure, you will be rewarded with the thrilling feeling of unique power, that other light tanks can’t get their hands on! More shots of the Manticore  At the moment, the vehicles are in the closed test phase. Ese tipo de armados ya vienen con instrucciones en el que el márgen de error es nulo. Si lo hacen, su creación será tenida en cuenta para la cateogría de Composición, no para la de Modelismo. ¿Entonces no se pueden usar modelos para cortar en papel/cartón? ¡Eso sí se puede! Si bien hay instrucciones, entra en juego la habilidad de armado, de pintar/colorear, etc. Lo mismo aplica para el plastimodelismo. ¡No hay excusas! ¡Elijan una categoría y pongan manos a la obra! ¡Mucha suerte!

The Scavenger Hunt has nothing to do with July Mission Madness. These are entirely separate events. My post is specifically for the Scavenger Hunt missions, which function as described above in the OP. 

We decided not to do a separate Scavenger Hunt announcement on the portal this month because it wasn't generating a lot of traffic in May and most of the players participating were using the forums etc. to say up-to-date, not the article itself.
 

DomoSapien:  That would fly for about as long as Jambijon renaming himself to "BigDaddyLaxative" did.

I know that Trobs started streaming an hour early when he did his second code drop last month and was releasing the letters of the code 1 at a time. This is theoretically fine, as long as they release the FULL code at their scheduled time (which he did).

I've also created some guidelines for CC's to follow, one of which is to adhere to the schedule and make sure the full code is available at their scheduled time. It's hard to time these things perfectly when you're tentatively signing up for a timeslot that's almost a month away. Stuff changes, life gets in the way, but I'm hoping we will cut down the frequency of such occurences.

If anything ever comes up, I do my best to notify the forums etc. however if you want to stay completely caught up, your best bet is to join our official community on Discord. I have a dedicated channel for the Scavenger Hunt - Discord is the easiest way to reach me quickly, and it's the best place to stay up-to-date on any news regarding the scavenger hunt.

I need to get the greenlight from the event guys but I'm shooting for it, yeah. The freebies were a pretty common point of positive feedback about May so I'm hoping to get those approved again. 

We can't have the event overlapping into the next month, so it needs to end before August. At the same time, reducing the number of days would reduce the total number of boosters you get from the event and I know a lot of players really look forward to those 50% credit boosts to help with grinding. Seems like the freebies might be the best way to do it. (It also encourages players to get involved with the event early on, rather than just waiting until the end of the month to grab a couple codes.)

It's functionally identical to the May Scavenger Hunt, with a few small quality of life changes. So if you've got questions, make sure you check out the May Scavenger Hunt forum thread, because your question has likely been asked and answered before. 
TL;DR - Every day, one of our Community Contributors will be releasing a Bonus Code at a scheduled time. Here’s the Catch: Each code is only active for 2 days, starting at 00:00 on July 1st. 1st Code: Active from 00:00 CDT on July 1st to 17:00 CDT on July 3rd.2nd Code: Active from 00:00 CDT on July 2nd to 17:00 CDT on July 4th3rd Code: Active from 00:00 CDT on July 3rd to 17:00 CDT on July 5th ...so on and so forth, until July 31st. TRUVoodoo is kicking off the July Scavenger Hunt on his Youtube Channel! The code is in the description of his most recent video: "The Art of Brawling"  So what exactly does this code give you? A set of personal missions tied directly to how many codes you redeem during the month of May. Here's how they work: Each code you redeem will give you 1 "Secret Sign" Token. This token allows you to complete Personal Mission: "Scavenger Hunt" 1 time. That means that the number of times you're able to complete this mission directly correlates to how many codes you've gathered. If you gather 5 codes, you'll be able to complete it 5 times. The more codes you gather during the month of May, the more missions you will be able to access, and the more rewards you will receive. Players will receive access to additional missions, based off of milestones for total number of May Scavenger Hunt Codes redeemed. You can review all the missions, and their corresponding rewards in the table below: MISSION LIST This mission will consume 1 of your Scavenger Hunt Codes, and give you 1 Manual Token (Manual Tokens are used for tracking purposes, and give you access to the other missions in the chain) - please note that in the screenshots of the missions listed in this page, for all intents and purposes the words "Folder" and "Manual" are interchangeable.  You can use this mission (Scavenger Hunt) to track how many codes you have redeemed so far! CHECKING THE PROGRESS ON YOUR TIERED REWARDS:
Still confused?  Here's the TL;DR -  For all intents and purposes, you can essentially ignore everything else, and just keep track of how many "Manual" Tokens you've got. This is the most important thing to remember!
SCHEDULE
We're still filling out the schedule, so make sure you bookmark this page and check back often! All dates listed with TBD will be updated throughout the month. 
Keep an eye on the time that each contributor will be releasing their code! CC's have been instructed not to share their code until their scheduled code drop time! Don't bother asking them for it ahead of time. They aren't allowed to share it with you prior to the time that they are scheduled. In response to player feedback, contributors have also been asked not to make players jump through any hoops in order to receive their code. That means no "follower-only" codes, "one-letter-at-a-time" releases, etc. (If a contributor is releasing the code one letter at a time, they are obligated to finish and release the entire code at the scheduled time. If a streamer starts up their stream early, they are not obligated to reveal the code until the scheduled time as well.
Please don't harass my CC's. They're all really nice people and they're doing both me and you a favor by signing up for the Scavenger Hunt and creating all this awesome content around it. At a very basic level, here's what you need to know.

1. Redeem a Code2. Login, place in top 10 XP earners on your team in a battle. 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 every day, up to 31 times, and get extra prizes.4. Keep an eye on your tokens to make sure you're using the right tank for your 30th and 31st completions, because these will award XP to the vehicle that's used to complete the mission.

Side notes: You don't have to log in and complete missions every day. The missions are active all month, so you can complete them at your own pace. While you don't have to complete the missions every day, you've only got 48-hour windows to redeem the codes themselves. Today's code is up and working. I've tested the code and the missions, everything appears to be functioning properly.
