GeneralDirection: Got a link to the team? Sorry -- 101 teams so it's hard to keep track of the captains for all of them.

GeneralDirection: Yes. It means that the team the system matched you up against did not have enough players to participate in the round, and so they were disqualified. This shouldn't crop up from here out, since all teams who advance will have the expected number of players on the roster.

GeneralDirection: Just before the battle is scheduled to begin, you'll receive a new button in the bottom bar while in the garage, called "Special Battle."
Clicking this will bring up a window listing all of the battles in the tournament you currently have scheduled.Click that to open the team formation window, to begin organizing who will play what tank, etc.Once your team is ready, make sure they click the "Ready" button so that you can move them into the slots available for the battle.

GeneralDirection: Yes.

GeneralDirection: We're not placing restrictions on the tanks played this time, mostly because we want to make sure this is fun for the moderator team too. We may do themed KTM events again in the future, but this particular event they can play any tanks they'd like.

GeneralDirection: Using 3Com Regulars as an example, if you scroll down you'll see a section called "Battle Schedule." Under that it displays that they have a battle scheduled this evening at 6:12PM PDT.

Today marks the start of the IGN Prime Tournament in World of Tanks. Over 100 teams have signed up to compete in the tournament for the prestige of being crowned champion, as well as the fantastic prizes awaiting the winners – as well as the remaining top four teams.
In advance of the tournament starting, we wanted to provide you with everything you need to know going into it.

Battle Schedules
You can check your team's scheduled battles on the team list, by visiting your team page. These schedules will adhere to the overall tournament schedule, so expect all battle schedules to begin at the same time each day of the tournament.
For example, you can see that “!Team Influenza!” is scheduled to face off against “3Com Regulars” at 6:12PM PDT on October 5, 2011.

Below is a list of the maps that will be used for each round, including the date they will be played. This list is posted in advance to give you time to plan out strategies for a given map.

GeneralDirection: Not at the moment, but that's in development now and should be coming very soon, including instant payouts at the end of the battle for those that score the kill.

GeneralDirection: Below you can find the tournament schedule for the IGN Prime Tournament. It is advised that all team members who will be participating that day log on at the first time, considering the "prep time," to be on early enough to receive the "Special Battle" window notice. Players who log on just before the start of the first battle for the round may risk not receiving that notice.

GeneralDirection: Now is the time to get in your last-minute requests. I am currently able to add reserves to your teams, for those of you that still have slots remaining. Keep in mind that teams are limited to 7 players, so if you're out of spots you'll need to replace someone.

GeneralDirection: It shouldn't be a problem. You can check your team page to see if you were accepted. In all cases where there were teams of 5 or more the teams were accepted, though, so if you had a full team you're fine and should check this page to see if you have a battle tonight. I'll be putting together posts about the bracket and also the maps scheduled for each round.

Tanitha: At the moment with the current technology, a server is a server. There is one in NA, one in EU and one in RU. (+ china which is on a different setup)
The installation of the multicluster technology has two advantages.
1.
It enables a server to be able to be split in 2, or 3, or 4 etc..
This opens up a lot of new possibilities. With the main one being the ability to split/expand the RU server which is currently overloaded with players.
You wont see any immediate changes on the NA server.
2.
Multicluster is a step forward towards multiserver.
Multiserver will include things like linking the three servers for a global world clan wars map.
Again you wont notice any changes here yet, its just a programming step in a direction WG is heading.
So "at this stage", it wont effect the NA server.

GeneralDirection: All teams with 5 or more players have been accepted into the tournament. Stay tuned for the map schedule for each round!

GeneralDirection: Registration for the IGN Prime Tournament is now closed! We're currently in the process of accepting the 128 teams for the tournament. Be sure to check the revised schedule for the tournament; the first round begins October 5, 2011.
Match preparation will begin at 6:00PM PDT; this is the time all players are advised to be on by so your teams can sort who will be playing in the match.
The first match for the round should begin at 6:10PM PDT. You'll have 10 minutes per match, with a 3 minute break between matches to discuss strategy changes, who will be swapping to different tanks, and so on.
For those of you who were excluded for registering after 128 teams were reached, we apologize but the tournament format requires a balanced number of teams to work properly. Please stay tuned for additional tournaments. Wargaming America is staffing up specifically to provide great tournaments like this on a consistent basis!

GeneralDirection: Premium tanks are fine for this tournament, yes. We decided that since there are some very potent tanks that are not Premium at these tiers, there was no reason to exclude Premium tanks.

GeneralDirection: You will be able to decide who plays from your team in-game when the battle begins.

GeneralDirection: Since you signed up via IGN Prime you're guaranteed a spot.

GeneralDirection: I will be manually approving all of the teams, so the status at the moment does not really matter.

GeneralDirection: Make sure that you're logging in with the information for your NA server account, and also that you're entering it exactly as you did when signing up -- the email is case sensitive in the entry form.

GeneralDirection: What was the reasoning behind the clan being disbanded? "Joint Task Force" is a military term for multiple armed forces banding together in an operation. Was this due to the clan icon containing material not allowed?

GeneralDirection: I would recommend setting someone who will be on tomorrow as captain. They can always switch you back to captain after, or if need be, we can manually.

GeneralDirection: Done, you guys are all set.

GeneralDirection: We will be rewarding anyone who participates in the tournament with gold. However, we will also leave it to the captain's discretion on any prizes won due to the team placing in the top four of the tournament. So, it will be up to the team captain to decide who will receive the prizes.

GeneralDirection: The captain should have an "edit team" option on the team page. Once there, it will display the password.

GeneralDirection: I just deleted it manually -- you guys should be set!

GeneralDirection: Done. I also removed the IGN placeholder account.

GeneralDirection: I'd hardly consider 128 teams participating a "bust." Sure, it didn't start out as well as we would have liked, but that's why changes were made.

GeneralDirection: Once you have everyone situated, feel free to PM me if you need assistance with getting them added to your team.

GeneralDirection: We're going to hold off on approving teams until registration closes, that way there is time for last minute changes that are needed.

GeneralDirection: What is the name of your team? I can add them so long as you provide the team name and the names of the players you want added.

GeneralDirection: The schedule hasn't changed all that much except for it being "moved back" a day. The start times are still the same, and it will be ending on the originally planned day of October 10th (3rd place match).

You can add an additional reserve if you'd like -- otherwise you're set and the team will be approved and finalized once registration closes tonight.

GeneralDirection: I have to check my emails, but if you still need this person added, I have the ability to do so now and will get it done asap.

GeneralDirection: We reverted all teams to Approval Pending to Forming due to issues caused by the registration and reserves not being communicated as well as they should have been. We'll be manually approving all teams at the close of registration, so as long as your team is set you don't have to do anything else from here out.

Hypnotik: The problem with your comparison is that in the story, David wins. In this situation, David gets curbstomped. Or more likely Juicebox is actually wanting to be Saul.
