Jewel_Thief: Let me part the curtain a bit on our moderation... Firstly-- on any given day, an average of 500 new topics are made, with an average of 8,000 responses... This is daily. Our Game Master team is made up of only 5 people, our Moderation team has 7 (and they are only on every so often). The Game Master team is also tasked with moderating two other forums, watching live chat for two different games, helping out with Community Manager and Production team projects, etc. etc.
What this adds up to is the Game Master/Moderator teams sometimes only have time to hit "Reported" content. (This is the content that members actually use the "Report" button for.) There simply aren't enough hours in the day to hit up all 8,000 responses that happen every single day to check for violations. This is where we need the players' help. Once a player has "Reported" a post/thread, we can come in and use our Forum Rules to determine whether a violation has taken place or not, and take a look at the other content that happened in that thread. (Within reason, of course. If we come in on a thread that is 400 pages long, chances are we'll only have time to check 1-2 pages around the Reported content before having to move on.) On any given day, we handle close to 200 forum reports across three forums-- and this is really only a third of the work we do!
This all being said, we do strive to be fair in the content that we moderate. If you ever feel you (or someone else) has received an unfair punishment here in the forums, please feel free to contact Support directly.

Fine for team damage is high while compensation is low to prevent griefing (e.g. light tanks ram-killing themselves against heavies, then getting their repair bill paid in full). While you only got 3K credits, the one who damaged you probably needed to pay 20K.

CatStalker: Getting the first gun upgrade helped me out a lot, the extra 71 pen is rather significant

Jewel_Thief: Our forums are sometimes a bit glitchy with the battle count not showing up... If you refresh your page, your battle count will show up properly. I can see yours right now "4045 battles"... :)

dance210: No, that's how the system works. Let's say a certain number of teams sign up, too many for the 128 bracket but not enough to fill the 256 bracket. What happens is position 1 is filled first, then position 2 is filled. Once they run out of teams to fill position 2, the remaining teams in position 1 get a bye. That leads to only a few teams battling each other with most of the teams getting a bye.
On Wed night, the number of teams remaining will completely fill the 128 bracket, which means no teams will get a bye. Unless there somehow happens to be a draw tonight, meaning neither team moves on.
As for the remainder of the schedule, the challenge runs every other day at 6 pm Pacific (9 pm Eastern). Plan on having battles 5/15, 5/17, 5/19, 5/21, 5/23, 5/25, and 5/27 (if I calculated the correct number of brackets to get to the final). I'm sure something will be posted eventually.
