Quemapueblos: Some of you may have heard already (or just noticed my new sig) but
I am leaving the brotherhood of team Clam Wars for bluer
pastures. A new horizon awaits me. This is where the montage
of my life in CRD fades in. Cue music: Now that I am
leaving Clan Wars, I going to miss the all the
lying, backstabbing, more lying, interesting use of
profanity, learning new expletives, the torches and
pitchforks and all those conversations in dark smoke
filled rooms.
Thanks for
all the fond
memories from my
time in CRD. A serious thank you to all that have helped and
hassled
me to where I am today and Subversions were
Hypnotik's idea.

them, learn them well. Tier 5 is a good tier to learn the mechanics
of the game, positioning, and outsmarting your opponent.
Take the time to build up your crews, start with 6th/repairs on
your heavies, 6th/camo on your TDs, work from there.
Once you feel more capable in tier 5, then head up to the next tier
and so on. Also, if you have a few minutes, watch some
streams. Anfield, quickybaby, etc. Edit: And make sure to
have lots of fun, if you're not enjoying it, there is no point.

way of improving. Additionally, platooning with players who
have skills that you would like to learn will also help you to
improve your play as well. There is nothing like putting
yourself in an experienced player's position, and seeing things
from their viewpoint, to get you to ask yourself why they do what
they do and how you can apply that to yourself. There are
lot of strong players on the forums who I'm sure would love to help
you to improve. :)

Zatogotama, on May 05 2014 - 09:29, said: Not that teamwork is a news flash. I introduced my son to this game
a few months ago and we played a few games together remotely and
had terrible results. This weekend he came to visit from college,
allowed me to set up his tanks and crews and played the game in the
same room giving each other real time commands. Although we
only had a small sample size, 38 games, we won over 60% of them and
were consistently in the top 4 in each game. The funniest thing was
I would out damage him but he would get the kills, thus his new
nickname "The Kill Stealer". I was sorry to see him go, not
only for my stats, but the awesome fun a dad and son can have
playing a game. I think I got him hooked as he was not having fun
at a 22% win rate. Now he is over 51% and talking smack. Someone
even invited him to a tank company. What a difference
coordination makes when a Chi-Nu-Kai tag team can have a 66.6%
win rate over a nine game stretch. Two tanks rolling together
concentrating fire can be unstoppable.Went like that the whole
weekend. I am not sure it would be as fun using mumble or team
speak, as being able to look at each others screens in real
time was awesome, but it would help. We going to give that a
try when school is out and have to play remotely.Had such a fun
time just wanted to share.

the Soviet vehicles are oodles of fun and the British Tank

Subject: T34 Mission Support Group: You can do it, we can help! Part II
Link on message: #7120261
PeterGibbons316, on May 05 2014 - 13:21, said: So last Christmas I made a support thread for the IS-6 mission and it went
really well, so let's do this again! This is a support
thread, if you have come to rant about how terrible this mission
is, please find another thread for your rant - I'm sure there are
plenty of them. Thanks. First the mission details:
http://worldoftanks.com/en/news/22/operation-t34/
In short it's 100,000 xp in tanks (tier IV-VIII) in each
country in 4 weeks. 700,000 xp in total. For those of
you who were told there would be no math that works out to 25,000
xp every day. That's a lot. Before you start this
mission check your stats, multiply your average battles/day by your
average xp/battle to get your average xp/day. If that number
is considerably less than 25,000, and you aren't planning on
increasing your gameplay for the next month then DO NOT ATTEMPT
THIS MISSION. The nice part about this mission compared to
the IS-6 mission is that you are not limited to tier 6 tanks.
So take advantage of the tanks in your garage and try to get
as many doubles as you can. Progress to date (last
updated 5/5): USA: 0 / 100,000 UK: 0 / 100,000 Germany: 0 /
100,000: France: 0 / 100,000 USSR: 0 / 100,000
China: 0 / 100,000 Japan: 0 / 100,000 Total: 0 / 700,000
Feel free to copy paste the progress summary and update all
of us on your own progress. If you have any questions or
comments this is the place to ask and get feedback from others
going through this mission as well. As far as the T34 goes -
it's an awesome tank. Probably the best performing premium
tank there is. I've got over 400 battles in mine with nothing
but great things to say about it - so worth the time to get it if
you ask me. And since it always comes up - yes I already have
the tank, yes I am still doing this challenge, yes I will get the
12,000 gold equivalent when I finish. Remember, at the end
of the day we all play for fun, make sure this grind is fun for
you. Good luck. Happy tanking. Let's do this!

came in this morning, and quickly changed. Head of Art Dept is
trying to come up with new workflow processes, to include sending
them by me for verification. I'm not sure I'll be able to
accommodate, though, I'm not always around. I'm showing page
3,007. Must be the effect of all those posts I've made disappear. I
was wondering why nobody commented seven pages ago. Speaking
of the WT forums, are there subforums which are not visible unless
one registers and logs in? I'm feeling I'm missing out on some
amusing threads. I wonder if I should register as The Chieftain,
and post historical posts in threads only...

The_Chieftain: Sorry, Sherman, I can't agree with you. We can blame his 'lack of
journalistic integrity', certainly, but we also have to blame
things like Wehraboos and History Channel for not arsing themselves
to check their sources or look for alternate opinions. I find it
difficult to blame an old vet, as near as I can tell, writing from
memory, for making honest, if rather egregious errors, in relating
what he knew to be true. I don't believe there was any malevolance
or intent to deceive on his part.

Are you saying that if you are currently on the WOF map then you
get to stay there after the wipe? Please explain this contradicts
the rules and makes no sense.

during the downtime as well as an introduction to the 7/42 format
for any new teams. The Summer Open league will have a normal
qualifier, with the top teams being eligible to play in the Open
League for the Summer. No teams will get an invite to the Open
