DomoSapien: The extra codes have a longer window of availability than the standard 2(ish) days. So you won't miss out if RNGesus 1-shots your plans for the day.

DomoSapien: Well, it's sort of become a tradition at this point, and it's also to make up for the fact that there are only 30 days this month, but there is a milestone mission for collecting 31 codes that awards you with 30K XP towards the vehicle used to complete the mission. Most folks use it as a nice little bump in XP towards one of the tanks they're grinding.

DomoSapien:  Not trying to detract from your point, just illustrating a potential scenario where some folks might be interested in picking these up. Currency Bundles on the Premium Shop sell pretty well every month so there are in fact people buying Credits outright. As for them having been sold recently, that may be but they are still pretty desirable/competitive. Someone might not have had the funds available or not been paying attention and missed one of those past sales.

But you're absolutely right about the fact that, for your average WoT player, Christmas boxes generally have a better value. Still, the option is there for those who want to pick these up right now, or don't want to take their chances on Giftboxes in December because they only want the one specific vehicle they have in mind. 

DomoSapien: Well, I think actively completing the missions might not be for everyone but imo you're kinda doing yourself a disservice by not opting into them because there is no cost to you and that's still a resource that adds value to your account. You might not need it now but who knows, maybe at some point in the future we'll have some kind of insane free XP conversion sales or there will be some kind of other use for elite XP.

Además, en ninguno de los dos casos sé si alguno hizo puntos de captura o rebotó disparos enemigos (esas cosas también suman; claro que no espero que un Skorpion G o un AMX 50 B saquen Muro de Hierro, aunque haya excepciones, pero es importante saberlo igual). Y no, no lo creo, todos hemos tenido este sentiemiento (o lo tenemos, yo también soy mortal como el resto y me enojo o insulto al monitor). Sobre las imágenes... Te acompaño en el sentiemiento, pero por desgracia el foro no ha recibido actualizaciones que mejoren sus caracterísiticas desde hace un largo tiempo y dudo que vaya a ocurrir en un futuro próximo. Y sobre la sanción recibida, no creo haberte sancionado yo, pero estás más que bienvenido a escribirme por privado si puedo ayudarte a reveer alguna sanción en caso de que se haya cometido algún error (o al menos puedo averiguar las razones). ¡Saludos!

The Frontline Bundles are unfortunately only available via the Premium Shop. 

DomoSapien: So I've got a question about the compensation for all you fine folks, because we've got two options on how to do it but I'm not sure which y'all would prefer.

Namely: 

Option A) Mass-invoice players with 3 extra tokens around the 20th. I've been asked to compromise a little bit on this front, so instead of getting to complete the Repeatable Mission 3 extra times, you'll just get 3 extra tokens applied directly towards your total tokens for the Milestone missions. The downside would be that you'd be missing out on an extra 3 days of Personal Reserves but the upside would be that you'd be getting credit towards your milestone missions without having to play more battles. 

Option B) I release the 3 extra codes around the 20th and post them to the forum thread. Upside would be getting the boosters as well as the milestone rewards, downside would be that some players who might not be paying attention to the thread etc. might miss out.

I will be polling the Scavenger Hunt channel in our Discord Server and checking this thread on Monday for sentiment.

Seeing how I haven't had a chance to fire up WOT today and test these missions, I'd say that's a fair assessment. After all, I don't design the missions themselves so I make no claims about being 100% up-to-date on how every mission chain works - especially when they keep changing how most of them work on a monthly basis. I'm happy to try and clarify any confusion and pass your questions on to the people who do design the missions so we can get them answered. I'll pass your feedback on to the content portal guys.

I do design and run the Scavenger Hunt missions though (with the guidance of the Live Operations team that handles events and sales) so if you've got any questions about how those work I'm your guy. Or if you've got questions about the CC program, streaming/youtube activities, feedback reporting, Discord... I'm also your guy. (Moreso Jambijon for Discord but I'm pretty active on the WOTNA Community Discord in general so I usually know what's going on.)
 

DomoSapien:  The XP goes towards the tank. You'll notice that XP Fever only applies to Premiums and Tier X tanks - The point of the event is to give you extra Elite XP, and XP Fever events are often followed by free XP Conversion discounts. With Black Friday and Christmas right around the corner, there's a good chance of a Free XP conversion discount coming up. I haven't seen the event plan for next month yet so I'm genuinely not sure if it's the case, but I think it's a pretty safe bet.

Es más, a la larga, hacer algo así haría que los jugadores abandonen el juego, ¿y todo para qué? ¿Para quedarnos con el reducido grupo de jugadores de élite que invierte poco y nada en el juego en términos de dinero? No parece muy razonable. La explicación más sencilla es con frecuencia la más acertada: ese disparo que no entendemos cómo nos pegó puede deberse a que estamos ante un jugador que juega muchas más horas que nosotros, que perfecciona continuamente su juego, que quizás tenga mejor ping o el RNG lo bendijo en ese disparo en particular. Además, a modo de cierre, si en verdad tenemos un programa dedicado a alterar partidas, ¿por qué los representantes de WG no somos todos violetas? Deberíamos ser por lejos los mejores jugadores de todos los servidores. ¡Saludos! P.D.: rompe_testa, nos interesa mucho la satisfacción de los jugadores con el juego. Si no nos interesara, probablemente yo ni siquiera estaría aquí porque no haría falta, no tendría propósito si la idea es solo vender. Si esa fuera la idea solamente, no nos comunicaríamos con los jugadores siquiera. ¿Para qué querríamos representantes de comunidad para un juego al que se supone no le interesa ese aspecto? Sería un derroche absoluto de recursos sin sentido.

I don't have too much insights into the math and whatnot that goes into coming up with these sales, I suspect it's because they're all extremely sought-after vehicles, and at the end of the day we are a business. By that logic everything we do is motivated by greed because businesses ultimately aim to be profitable. Even giving away the Well-Deserved Reward last November - yeah we gave a bunch of stuff out but there are still business reasons behind it.  
I will say this: these bundle offers might be attractive to someone who wants one of these tanks in particular and doesn't want to roll the dice on Christmas boxes. While the boxes have the best dollar value, if you specifically want, say a Skorpion G it may be more prudent to buy a 70 dollar Skorp G bundle, get a month of Premium + equipment and boosters with it; as opposed to investing the same amount of money in boxes and hoping you'll get the tank that you want. I know 70 bucks is quite a bit of dosh so it's up to you to make an informed decision as to what you feel will provide you with the best value. 

At the end of the day I can imagine being one of the dudes who spends 200 bucks on boxes and doesn't get the tank they wanted most is probably more frustrating. Ultimately, as a consumer it's your right to decide what you want to spend your money on, and if you feel that the bundle options don't justify the cost, well I respect your decision and commend you on your frugality.

KRZYBooP:  When you start up World of Tanks you 100% get thrown into bootcamp now.  Yes you can press esc and leave the mode, but it's there for players to find out about angling armor, camo, spotting, and when to engage vs when to cap the base. With that being said there are things in the works to help improve the new player experience. It's going slow, but it is slowly moving.  

KRZYBooP:  Free sixth sense was talked about, and we haven't heard anything sense that statement. The crew books are not the replacement for free 6th sense, I was offering it as an option that is already currently in the game.

KRZYBooP:  They didn't change RNG, but they did change dispersion in an update to make snap shots harder to land since the automatic shots don't have the dispersion circle fully zoomed in. I wasn't able to find the NA article stating this but here is a LINK that explains it fully.  5-6 years is a long time, and we do hold AMA's with the developers for players to ask any questions. WG does listen to the player base which is why some mods are now included in our game, Preferred MM tanks didn't change, but saw small buffs, and changes to the MM happened.  Please feel free to share any extra concerns with myself on how we can improve further.

DomoSapien: I don't think this is the only change coming in 1.7 - lately we've been doing multiple iterations of common test so that we can sort of isolate the feedback for each particular feature being tested.

KRZYBooP: No they can't be sold, only purchased. 

KRZYBooP:  Technically the crew books gives every 100% crew a skill. Which most players pick 6th sense.

KRZYBooP: I currently don't play the STB-1 because it burned me bad on not landing a shot. I know how you feel and appreciate that there are over 500 tanks so it wont happen all the time.

Crew Directives are fully trained skills that you can equip for battle. If you don't have 6th sense on a new tank you are are, buy some directives and equip the slot. TragicLoss: Yes please! But feel free to add additional follower chances. Honestly it is up to the streamer themselves, but you won't gain followers if you make it followers only win. You'll get some temporary followers just for giveaways and they will leave.
