Here is what I can live with: 1.  Count the zero skill BiA as if it was the first skill, that seems reasonable to me.2.  Allow crews to develop more than 75 skill points, 90-100 seems more reasonable to approximate what you can currently have on a vehicle.  Even with that your crew will not be as good as it is now.3.  Allow me to see what my instructor will be statted out like before I lock them in. Those three things would make me reasonably ok with the changes.  As I said in my OP it is the kernel of a good idea.

TeriyakiTanker: Totally agree with you, it will be interesting to watch if they actually go through with it.  I do think they have the beginning of an interesting idea but it just isn't where it needs to be.  It is way more complicated than what they have now, which isn't a great idea and I think they need to cap you out at 15-30 more skill points.

TeriyakiTanker: Really unimpressed with the new Crew 2.0, there is the beginning of a good idea there but right now its just crap 1.  Anyone who purchased crews with a "0" level crew will not get that skill counted towards the new skill points so your crew will be significantly less skilled under the new system. 2.  When you create your instructors there is no way to know what skills they are going to enhance before you pull the trigger and you can't reset them.  Really sucks if you they don't add anything to your build. 3.  Female crew members from campaign missions basically just disappear and become normal instructors.  People put in a lot of work to get some of these ladies and now they are just gone.  Ditto with the snow maidens.  Just seems lazy. 4.  Perhaps most importantly even with a maxed out crew, no need for sixth sense, or brothers in arms it appears to me that you can't get all the same skills you would have before.  For instance on my maxed out batchat I can't get all the skills I had before.  Just not enough points and if you can't chose what your instructors add you will be left wanting. Overall if this goes live even close to as is I will either stop playing or seriously reduce my playing time and certainly won't be spending any more money.

TeriyakiTanker: The 0 skill thing getting no exp when converting is just a deal breaker for me.  Makes significant numbers of crews I actually paid money for less effective than they are now.  Get why they did it that way but just doesn't work for me.

TeriyakiTanker: Not particularly happy with this right now.  Some issues,  1.  It looks to me like your 0 skill on special crew members you bought is not being calculated for getting skill points, so multiple crews of mine are way worse now than before.2.  Is there a way to see what skills your instructor is going to get before you set them?  If so I haven't figured that out yet.3.  This is going to be a lot of work for all my crews. There is a kernel of a good idea here but right now it just isn't working for me.

One of the few P26/40's that did see service with The RSI after the '43 Armistice.

Draschel:  HE can, and can't counter EBRs. It can, if everything works for you and you strike the vehicle body and penetrate for full damage. Unfortunately, most of EBR hits are wheels or gun hits, meaning HE automatically splashes for poor damage, many times not even 25%.  That is piss poor DPM, a piss poor counter. Not to mention many tank HE shells are slower velocity, harder to hit EBR to begin with With the planned Sandbox HE changes, EBRs will both be nerfed and be buffed. HE can still deal higher damage than AP, and will do so more often because it can now penetrate obstacles (including spaced armor)  Wheels, guns, fences,  cars -  these things can all be shot through, and EBR piss poor armor behind will likely still be penetrated, and massive damage ensues. However, some HE hits through tires and/or gun module, a shot will penetrate, pass through, and may miss instead of exploding - meaning its a  0 damage critical hit. EBR run away with the spoon in that situation.

TeriyakiTanker: Not sure how you get that from what they wrote because he didn't say/suggest that in any way.  WG will never implement SBMM because they simply don't want to.  They do not see it as a problem and as far as blowouts go they have stated in the past that the don't like long battles either.  They want you to be just the right kind of frustrated in order to spend money and play more games. Wether you, I, or anyone else on this server agrees or disagrees with their methodology does not matter to them at all, not even in the slightest.  I am not trying to talk down to you when I am saying this but in all honesty if the game and the players bother you that much it would probably be best if you moved on because the game and the player base are not going to change.

Draschel: Not if your goal is maximizing damage. With crew books available nowadays, recon+BIA+awareness are easily achievable. In addition, so is firefighting so food consumable can be run instead of extinguisher. Then you got +Bonus slot working using improved ventilation, 6% not 5. Then add in ventilation purge. With tier 10....contemplate purple ventilation. This is enough view range, as likely any tanks you are not spotting with that, you would not be 475m anyway. But the DPM, gun handling, accuracy benefits you gain are worth it, in dealing handy damage, especially in maps outside the breadth of camo/spotting/kiting

Draschel: EBRs are not resistant to AP shells, that is you not understanding how things function. The AP strikes the tire, the bottom part, passes through and does not hit the vehicular body behind. Happens all the time with any kind of tank. How do you not understand that? People just get overly angry that EBRs are so hard to hit to begin with, and on top of that many times you do hit them it is 0 damage track shot. But these happen all the time with every other class of vehicle.  EBRs will be buffed and nerfed. Half and half. The buff is, HE will penetrate tires and continue in penetration, and strike the vehicle body behind and also penetrate. This is a huge change and nerf, as EBR will be more susceptible. The buff however, EBR tires can be struck by HE, penetration occurs, but the shot is low and misses the body behind the tires low side, and passes through without detonation and splash. This causes a zero damage situation, whereas before it would detonate and splash the EBR for reduced HP

TeriyakiTanker: Well a couple of things 1.  Kills are worth a lot of exp2.  DMG against lower tiers gets you a lot less exp3.  DMG against higher tiers gets you more exp4.  If someone else is spotting you get half exp, maybe not an issue in your heavy 5.  I’m assuming tracking works the same as spotting so that could have been an issue too but no one really knows exactly how EXP us calculated but the above could explain what happened.

TeriyakiTanker: I’m going to go ahead and guess you aren’t hitting the ammo rack but even if you are with a gun that small it could easily take multiple hits to do enough module damage to get an explosion and if course after the first time you damage the ammo rack most people will use their repair kit. So remember not all ammo racks blow up the vehicle, so you could be ammo racking them without destroying them in one shot.

MA77: Saudações, comandantes. Um novo mapa chegou ao Superteste no dia de hoje: Avenue. Descrição Geral Modo de Jogo: Batalha Aleatória Configuração: Alemanha Tamanho do Mapa: 1000x1000 metros  Jogabilidade 1. Rua principal, o local mais adequado para veículos pesados.2. Um parque com uma paisagem diversificada para uma jogabilidade confortável em tanques médios e snipers.3. Uma rota alternativa e mais perigosa, porém, permite que você flanqueie o inimigo.4. Uma montanha com um castelo que permite disparos nas bases e na região do parque.5. Avenidas longas e retas com pouca cobertura. MA77: ¡Saludos, Comandantes! En el día de hoy, ingresa un nuevo mapa al Supertest: Avenida (Avenue). Imágenes https://imgur.com/a/EI9laO6/   Este mapa es un escenario basado en Alemania, que cuenta con un tamaño de 1000x1000 metros y está pensado para batallas aleatorias. Calle principal, perfecta para los vehículos pesados. Un parque con paisajes variados, que es adecuado para tanques medianos y francotiradores. Una ruta alternativa, aunque más arriesgada, para flanquear al enemigo. Una montaña con un castillo. Desde esta posición hay líneas de fuego a las bases y el parque. Avenidas largas y rectas con poca cobertura. Una ruta peligrosa para escaramuzas arriesgadas detrás de las líneas enemigas.  Como siempre, recuerden que todos los cambios no son definitivos y que están sujetos a los resultados de las pruebas. ¡Dejen sus opiniones! ¡Mucha suerte en el campo de batalla!

Einzelganger7: In my opinion I think it would since that sprocket can be condidered as the destructable objects in maps like walls, and since HE now will be able to go though them, the same will be if they manage to penetrate tracks or spaced armor, continue their trajectory until they hit something.
