{lang:macro__view_post}copewithit83, on Feb 21 2014 - 20:54, said: http://worldoftanks.com/uc/tournaments/837-War_of_the_Nations___Tier_5/   Group 7, the three teams tied for 3/4/5 have all beat each other. Steel beat Vengeful, DHO beat Steel and Vengeful beat DHO. How is this tie broken?

dance210:
As this is a complete draw, as long as there are no disputes, all three teams should be moving on to Group Stage 2 tomorrow.

{lang:macro__view_post}Tiger_killer12, on Feb 21 2014 - 20:43, said: So, the first place get the gold, or all tied teams get it? :amazed:

dance210: All the teams that move from Group Stage 1 to Group Stage 2 earn some gold. The first place prize (25,000 gold) is determined by the winner of the playoffs.   To make it to the playoffs, teams need to go through Group Stages 2 and 3, then the Quarter finals, Semi-finals and finally win the Finals on Sunday.

{lang:macro__view_post}morphius99, on Feb 21 2014 - 20:43, said: Thanks for that answer...but how do we know if we advance or not?  Regardless of a two-way or three-way tie...how or when will we know who within the tie moves forward?

dance210: Group Stage 2 will be posted tomorrow morning.   You can use the draw rules posted on the tournament page to determine if your team will move forward. If the teams are still tied after using the draw rules, then all teams in the tie move forward to the next Stage.   If you still have questions, I can help you figure out if your team should move forward using the draw rules :)

{lang:macro__view_post}Noahanator, on Feb 21 2014 - 20:06, said: So what if there is a 3-way tie in a Group Stage 1 Bracket? As in 2-4 all have the same score and beat each other?

dance210:

{lang:macro__view_post}Kraazykiller, on Feb 21 2014 - 20:21, said:   Group 7 (my group) has the same thing. We are all tied for 3-4th place and each of us has beat one another....

dance210: For any teams that are tied, we will follow the draw rules to see if the tie can be broken. For Group Stage 1, if a tie cannot be broken, then all tied teams will move forward.   If there are any questions, feel free to PM me a link to your group or post the link here and I will try and help clarify what should happen. Please though, make sure to include the link to your group since there are 3 tournaments and I want to make sure I answer correctly :)

{lang:macro__view_post}bennybear, on Feb 21 2014 - 16:44, said: why would my team bennybear's shell magnets be declined?  Everyone is asking me what happened

dance210:

{lang:macro__view_post}GlM, on Feb 21 2014 - 17:11, said: did you put it in pending approval? if not than thats why your team got declined.  Just because you have enough members doesn't mean team will be accepted. It has to be put in for approval.

dance210:
Exactly what GlM said. Any team that was not Pending Approval at the time Registration closed was automatically denied participation.       I also want to take the time to remind y'all about the big rule for this tournament - all tanks in the battle MUST be from the same nation.   If you run in to a team that is not following this rule, the team captain MUST send in a dispute immediately following the end of the match. For the Group Stages, that means after the final battle in the group, although you can send it in earlier if there is time.   To send in a dispute: Email your dispute to tournaments@wargamingamerica.com IMMEDIATELY after the battle ends Subject line: Dispute for (tournament name) Team captain name Name of your team and name of opponent team Reason for the dispute Screenshots and/or replays showing the rule violation Failure to follow any or all of these steps, particularly late entries, could cause your dispute to not be considered.       Also, for our weekly NA eSports show, we are still looking for replays from tournaments. If you have a battle you would like to see features, please send an email to sports-na@wargaming.net. See this thread for more information about the show.   Good luck everyone!!

{lang:macro__view_post}CrazyRazor, on Feb 19 2014 - 11:04, said: so most teams dont have battles on wednesday?   and as the second in our group team how come we are seeded so close (bracket wise) to the first team in our group? we'd have to fight them in the top 16 and that is a little sooner then id want to see those guys again...

dance210:   Correct, most teams have a Bye tonight and do not play until Friday. That is normal for a Challenge, since there is often an unknown number of teams applying.   Although I didn't do the seeding, the teams are seeded based on points earned vs. total possible points in the group stage. This seeds teams based across all groups, not simply within your group. The fact that two teams from the same group are so close in the brackets is pure coincidence

Hypnotik: We now have a confirmed broadcast time for the tournament - Friday 4:00 PM PST. Payouts should go out either today or tomorrow. All clans that made the playoffs (including the play-in games) will be awarded the 10k prize, so this list now includes D-O-S and SM0KE.       Thanks for playing in the tourney, we hope you all enjoyed it, and it looks like we may be introducing this map sometime soonTM.

Jewel_Thief:   Yep-- you get to keep any Premium items, Gold, and Premium Time. Everything else goes.   ~JT

Jewel_Thief:   Hi garry,   I see that you have a Support ticket in about this matter... (We answered you back within an hour of your ticket submission, but then never heard back from you.) Please log in to our Support site to view your ticket--we need a bit more information from you before we can figure out what's going on in your case. :)    ~JT

I feel like Customer Support is just copying and pasting responses. It's getting kind of annoying... :sceptic:

Jewel_Thief:     For the "locked thread" question, the answer is "maybe." (It depends on what context it was locked under.) Feel free to PM me if you'd like me to take a look.   As for Support tickets: we read every ticket that comes in-- the whole way through-- every time.    ~JT

Hypnotik:
The Big Blue e has no internets. It lost them to the multi-color globe and small orange animal.       The (re-)broadcast looks like it will be Friday, 4:00 PM PST for those who would like to watch it.   For those who must know the results(I'm sure the teams are talking about it already), they're in a spoiler below. If you'd like the surprise when we broadcast it, don't click the spoiler.   Are you sure you want to spoil the surprise?   [OTTER]                             [OTTER]     [-_-]               [-_-]           [SM0KE]       [OTTER]       [BADGR]                               [CHAI]                       [CHAI]                       [OTTER]   [FORGE]         Champion                     [FORGE]                       [HHL]                   [NTR]       [ACA]                               [NTR]       [D-O-S]               [NTR]           [NTR]
