Hypnotik: Well, the tasks have been created for the gold payouts, and captains of the teams that won one of the prize tanks have been sent instructions on how to make your selections.   For the players who are choosing the T23E3 or the Ram II (depending on which place your team took), these are the default options, and you wouldn't have to do anything. If you want the KV-220, T14, or Churchill III, nag ask your clan leaders for the info. The deadline for prize tank selections if you wish to change your tank is Aug 27, 2014 02:59 EDT. They'll be rewarded shortly after.     That covers most of the prizes for this tourney, however there are a few more things for the OTTER guys. Your bonus gold prize depends on your clan's earnings for the entire month of August, so that'll be tallied up in the first week of September. Farm it up and maximize that prize! You will each receive a private message individually within the next few days regarding your sheriff accounts. They will be active for the first 2 weeks of September.   Congratulations to all the winners!

The_Chieftain: Feel free to copy/paste this opinion over on the Korean thread.   There are numerous ways of getting the 90mm on the T29.   1) Work through M4A3E2. Continue grinding through T20. Unlock 90mm on T-20, then backgrind M4A3E2 to T29. Unlock T29, mount 90mm gun from T20 onto T29. Sorted. 2) Work through M4A3E2. Continue to T29. Then go back to the T1 heavy, unlock M6, Grind M6 only as far as 90mm unlock. Apply to T29. 3) Work through M4A3E2. Continue to T29. Use Free XP (Either accumulated or gold conversion) to unlock 90mm cannon. 4) Work through M6 heavy. My personal recommendation. M6 heavy is a very, very good tank, T1 ain't bad either.   I assume that anyone running T29 with the 76mm is just ignorant and doesn't know any better,as opposed to being deliberately trolling. But it is incumbent upon all players, I submit, to notify the T29 driver, when seen, that he needs to park his tank and not run it again until he gets the 90mm from one of the other routes.

The_Chieftain: If you're curious, the T49/T67 rework is more extensive than just the name. Basically, instead of being upgunned T42/T49, the vehicle will now be more realistic T49/T67.

Hypnotik: Hey all,   There's a ton of great feedback for us in this topic, and I can guarantee you that it will lead to quite a few discussions here at WGA (and with our other offices) about future events like this one. Without a doubt, it seems like you guys enjoyed it and have made this event a success. I do already have a few other Clan competitive events in the concept/design stages, and the high viewership and the community reaction have proven this to be an excellent area for us to continue working in. The major issues seem to be: a) disputes CANNOT be sent in as a Support ticket and b) the emails we received (prior to the one today) had no proof (screenshots/replays).     The subject line was a completely different issues and had nothing to do with y'all. It was a general reminder for everyone who participates in our Skirmish/Challenge tournaments.

dance210:   Question for you: When you say ticket, do you mean a Support ticket?

dance210:   That would be correct. Unfortunately, the email that you sent originally didn't have any replays/screenshots attached. Which means that as much as I would have loved to uphold the rules, there wasn't much I could do.   I see that Moguai has already linked the Skirmish rules for you. Hopefully that will clear up any confusion.  

dance210:   If there was a dispute against you and it was processed immediately, that's because they followed all the Skirmish rules. While I can understand your frustration, the rules are in place for a reason. For example, if there wasn't a deadline, teams could submit a dispute days after the tournament had ended, when it is much too late for anything to be done. By labeling the subject incorrectly AND not stating the reason in the email, we have no way to know that what is stated to be a tech defeat is actually a dispute. We deal with disputes first and immediately; tech defeats are not generally an immediate concern and can be dealt with later. Sometimes, later is too late if the battles have already been played.

dance210:   Hi! I checked and in the last month, we've only gotten two emails from you, neither of them disputes (one which I'm going to respond to later today). If you had sent in a valid dispute, on time, then it would have been accepted and processed.   If you have any other questions or issues, please feel free to PM me at any time.  

dance210:   The gold earnings are per brackets. You are only competing against the other 15 teams in your playoff bracket. So, for the Bravo playoffs, any team that makes it to Saturday will get at least 250 gold.           Also, a very general reminder. There are two different emails that generally are submitted: DISPUTES and TECH VICTORY/DEFEAT   If you send in a dispute and call it a TECH DEFEAT/VICTORy, it may be treated as the latter. Since a tech defeat doesn't require us to make any changes to the wins/losses, it will be marked as a tech defeat and dealt with as such. That may mean several days AFTER the next battle has happened, especially over the weekend.   If you are sending it in as a dispute, mark it as a DISPUTE. Like all the other rules, failure to do so could cause your dispute to be considered invalid.   Thanks guys!
