veganzombiez:   Sadly, I don't have access to the list of criteria for the Tasks at this time, but from my understanding, Scenarios are targeted toward newer or less active clans, and should have lower requirements.  Once the Tasks go live, I'll definitely be poking around trying to gauge reactions to specific Scenario Tasks.   Chicago, Illinois was probably a poor example, as it's more than the "960 gold income or greater" criteria in the article.  Nome, Alaska or Sierra Nevada Mountains may have been better.

Trevzor:   Hey guys,   There has been a lot of confusion regarding the prizing since Group 4 has more than 16 teams.   The quote above from _Lord_Of_Destruction_ is correct in how Group 4 and 5 work. The teams are all starting on even footing fighting for the top 16 ranks. The team ranked 17th will be awarded 500 gold.

veganzombiez:   Clan Tasks are not Fame Points, nor is this a Clan Wars Campaign.  Clan Tasks are missions for clans, in the same way that Personal Missions or On Track events are missions for individual players or platoons.  Once you complete the "Defeat 10 clans in landing battles" Task, you receive the reward.  Then you move onto the next Task.  It may be "Earn x experience in landing battles" or it could be "Take and hold Chicago, Illinois for 72 hours".   The large clans have pulled off the map so they can re-position for the Civil War community event.

Trevzor: Hey guys,   You know what really doesn't help get payouts processed faster?   By complaining on the forums about it.   The payment requests have been submitted to the appropriate people and are being worked on. What we need you folk to do is to relax and be patient. The gold is coming.   Please note: Today is Thursday   Weekday Warfares end on Friday. So, at the very least, there can be 24 MORE hours before the 7 days payment processing can take up to.   Sit back, and chill.

The_Chieftain:   T-54 was definitely one of those ones, back then, which "The side with the most T-54s will win'. I remember with trauma having to face down T-54s in the JagdPz IV.   The Type--59 wolfpack is only remembered because it was so easy to find a wolfpack of them. But a wolfpack of any medium is going to ruin your day, most more than the Type-59.

The_Chieftain: I still think the Reliant Robin Space Shuttle Launch was one of the most beautiful things I ever saw. It was just so epic as it went up and the SRBs jettisoned.   Surprised the Logitech video only got noticed now, SS. Look at the upload date!   We originally had planned for a five-minute segment, I ran over two keyboards, one with a 10-ton tractor, the other with the JgdPz38(t). The one seemed to work immediately after crushing, the other did not.   However, after we cut filming, and showed the keyboard to the museum staff, they remarked that despite the keys coming off, the chassis itself seemed to be very intact. So we brought the keyboard back to the office the next day, I put keys back on which had popped off from the two keyboards, and enough of them worked that I was still able to play WoT. Unfortunately, the demands on the video editing team both at us and Logitech meant that they could only do the 45-second slot, instead of the full video.

Hypnotik: One thing I'd strongly recommend to those of you streaming during this event is to be sure you're archiving your streams. If you don't the checkbox checked, your broadcasts will simply disappear after you go offline.   To activate this on twitch, go here: http://www.twitch.tv/settings/channel   The 2nd item in the "Channel Settings" group is "Archive Broadcasts". Check this box.

pizzastorm:   Canada definitely has some different laws regarding sweepstakes (especially Quebec). Something we found out trying to get this off the ground.   I am making this a priority to get fixed for future contests. We do not want to neglect all of our players in Canada and will be working towards making sure they can enjoy our contests/sweepstakes like the rest of us.    We are making an effort to be more inclusive to our neighbors up north and south.

veganzombiez:   While the upcoming Clan Tasks will take place on the Global Map, many tasks seek to help clans become stronger through battles.  You don't have to be All-Stars, as one Scenario is to "earn a certain amount of Experience in landing battles." You aren't normally fighting OTTER or -G- during a landing battle; you're fighting other clans that are seeking to enter the Global Map.   With 39 landing zones on the Global Map, there's ample opportunity to improve and gain experience.  While fighting, you'll earn victories, and another Scenario is "Defeat 10 clans in landing battles."  As you fight in landing tournaments, reach out to opponents and form alliances to practice with each other or discuss strategies.   Yes, some clans may prefer to be primarily social groups and stay away from the Global Map for various reasons.  Hyp and I are looking into separate missions that don't require participation on the Global Map, but those will be different from Clan Tasks, and will come at a later time.
