dance210:   It doesn't have to be right after the battle. The dispute rules were copied from the Skirmish, which have several group stage rounds. Basically the disputes need to be turned in soon after the tournament has ended. In reality, I don't start dealing with them until Monday, so I normally accept any disputes that came in on Saturday or Sunday.   The 1v1s will likely be coming back in some way, although nothing has been decided yet. They may focus on tier rather than tank type, which would make all of our lives much easier.

Also as an FYI for those involved in the heavy 1v1 last weekend, I haven't had a chance to process the disputes yet, which is why prizes haven't gone out. I should hopefully be doing that today. Sorry for the delay folks!

I'm glad that you enjoy the 1v1 tournaments   There won't be one this weekend; however I'll see if I can get one up for next weekend for y'all.

The_Chieftain: I would argue that just because it is the worst performing tier 9 heavy doesn't mean it actually is the worst tier 9 heavy. Somehow it's turned into my highest win-rate non-premium tank, and others have similarly found it to be extremely capable (Borderline OP, as one person puts it). It may just be the most difficult to play, or one with the most exacting play style requirements. It seems to be one of those tanks whose potential is very difficult to unlock, but when it is unlocked, it just sings.

The_Chieftain:   A position I continue to stand by.   Some people, the tank clicks, others, not so much.

dance210: Thank you tooto for repeating what is in our forum PM. It seems as though there is no longer a need for me to respond to you there   Yes, I admit that it could have been worded better, and I apologize for that. I had actually planned to cancel the event, as it was only posted on the eSports calendar which is subject to change; once someone mentioned it on the forums I elected to move ahead with it. Unfortunately, the proofreading wasn't great and that one line was missed. Going forward I will try to prevent these mistakes, but they do happen.   As I mentioned to tooto, it was always intended that the overall prizes were based only on those who earned gold. The wonderful thing about special event tournaments is that they can be run differently, so while the format may be similar, the rules can and often do change from tournament to tournament.   Everyone should have received their gold from all four days. Tanks will hopefully go out on Friday. Thanks.

The_Chieftain: I have to say, it was kindof strange looking at the opening battle in the film, and recognising places you've stood at.   Enjoyed it, quite a bit. I don't think they were explosive bolts on T28, I guess it's entirely possible that if a wall is tough enough, it will cause the pins connecting the outer and inner tracks to snap, but it would have to be one hell of a concrete/reinforced steel wall to do it.   I did appreciate all the little nods to other things, such as the 'wound my heart' code as seen in The Longest Day, "Operation Mifune", or that everything in that theme park at the end was WW2 related, such as the V2 flying into the Giant Panjandrum.   To answer the earlier comment about the BT-42's chain drive, remember that the BT-7 had moved from a chain drive to a gearing system. I don't see any particular reason why the gears cannot be semi-permanently installed during combat, if necessary.

The_Chieftain: It is my opinion that unless there is some time-sensitive reason which makes you require an E5 sooner than you would otherwise make it, the top gun is highly recommended. Yes, it's XP which delays the E5 a bit, but you'll find that getting that additional required XP is a fair bit more fun, and also that because it's more capable, you'll be getting more XP/battle anyway, which reduces the overall length of the grind.

We have released a patch that addresses the issues for Mac users, and we're continuing to work on fixes for everyone else. If you are experiencing graphical issues, freezing, or crashes, please do the following troubleshooting steps! 1) Clear out your preferences folderTo do this Press the Windows key + R, and type %appdata%\wargaming.net. Then Delete the "worldoftanks" folder.2) Update your graphics card drivers. These 2 things are solving many player's issues. They do not work for everyone, but if you have not yet done these, please do! 3) Turn off replays.We have verified that this solves issues for a few folks.4) Update and/or uninstall your mods.Several popular mods were recently updated to be compatible with 9.15 so updating them may help. If you are using a mod that has not been updated, it may be preventing you from playing.5) Run the game in "safe mode."We know this is not a permanent fix, but it may allow you to get back in. We are working diligently to address the problems with permanent fixes. It's frustrating when you can't play, and we apologize for this inconvenience. I will continue to update this forum thread as we receive new information!

dance210:   I think it would be amazing if there was tournament information within the client! A calendar of events, tournament registration, all the info a player would need. Sadly that's not something I can dev, so all I can do is suggest it and hope it gets put in soon™.

dance210: Weekly tournaments could be Skirmish/Weekday Warfare or it could be some of the 1v1s. I already kind of do it with the Call to Arms, it just has two separate tournament pages.   To be fair, for the Skirmishes I was thinking of it as a sometimes deal - offer a low tier (e.g. tier 3) and a high tier (e.g. tier 9) option. This is because not many participate in the higher tiers, and generally the players who like the high tiers dislike the lower tier tournaments.    

dance210: Tournament prizes are not instant. It can take up to seven days after the tournament ends, although I am hoping to get the daily prizes out tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

No exact numbers in terms of prizing will be done until I get to the office tomorrow.   There have been 2,790 unique participants, with 1,629 players earned at least some gold.   With the rough numbers, there are currently potentially 35 players who are on track to earn a Type 59. For those playing the low tier escalation, if you won 1st place each day so far, you could potentially earn the Panther M/10. Again, for the prizes these are very rough estimates.   Good luck to everyone playing in the final night!         A few questions for you guys. How did you like having lower/higher tier options for a tournament? Was your decision to play the higher tier based on the higher gold prize or would you choose the higher tier even if the prizes were the same? Would you want to see tier options for other tournaments, including weekly tournaments? Any other feedback you think I should know?
