You have blessed those who purchased in the beginning a lowe, for 7500gold, were basically gifted 5000 gold when the price shot up.
kv-5 drivers, like myself, felt mutual disappointment, but acceptance.
now, you are introducing a new tank, a second teir 8, that is a much closer counter part to the lowe.
with the general consensus of the kv-5 being a rather weak tank-incapable of taking out a lowe alone-(as a lowe is well capable of devastating a kv-5 single handed) would it not be a better solution to rather remove the kv-5 alltogether and replace it with the is-6, establishing a counterpart to the Lowe? and also showing us kv-5 drivers who have struggled against lowes and king tigers for so long and finally seeing a gllimer of hope, that you care about us as well?
from what i've seen of the stats, low armor aside, it has great slope, and the kv-5 has more armor but almost a non existant gun when compared to things in it's teir(lowe, KT, is-3, ausfA)and very widely known, and access able weakspots (R2D2, sides of ..well everything... rear of well...everything...)
I would gladly trade these tanks. hell, i'd gladly trade my kv-5 for a t-34 premium. at least then i'd have a tank capable of standing in a firefight with it's own teir, weakspots that are able to be hidden, and a good gun.
please explain to me why you are putting in another teir 8, when the current one needs to be replaced.
(also on a side note, when the lowe's price was rasied, even those players who drove lowes before and were happy said things like 'this stinks of greed and' and "treating players like milky cows" if you do, infact replace the KV-5, it would dispell these attitudes)

Overlord: You might be surpirsed but the performance of KV-5 is currently
somewhat similar to IS-3 (430 exp vs 415 exp), another tier 8
Soviet heavy. The price adjustment of Lowe didn't affect Lowe
owners (doubt someone would sell this premium to get a bit more
credits) nor KV-5 owners, since the performance of KV-5 hasn't beem
changed.
All in all KV-5 is a decent tier 8 heavy and a very good money-maker.
As for the role (price?) of T34 premium and Object 252, it is still to be determined.

The reason why I ask is because I'm particularly fond of the traits belonging to the 88...except it's penetration. I find it frustrating that equal tiered guns that fit into the very same roles can penetrate much better than it can, and I would personally prefer nerfing it's rate of fire in exchange for a penetration buff. Though such a buff would not be historically accurate, I always thought that gameplay balance trumped historical accuracy in priority.
As for the 75 L100, I find the weapon quite enjoyable, but lacking in rate of fire for a weapon so high tier yet low in damage. Even though it is of the same tier as the 8.8cm L71, the 88 produces higher damage per minute. Then again, I may be spoiled on the high rate of fire belonging to the 57mm on the T-34, or the 76mm M1A2 gun on the E8.

Overlord: We don't balance guns or any other modules directly with each
other. In terms of penetration guns are based on RL data
(converted, if needed).

Overlord: Removal is the last resort of course. As far as see, Komarin and
Malinovka require our attention first.

prize package. For the most part, Premium tanks that are no longer
available were given out for special reasons, and so they likely
won't be given out as prizes in events.

Ive leveled up to T10 in the heavy tanks for the German Russian and USA lines.
My playing style is usually push forward quickly, and then camp, and snipe/scout the tanks as they appear. That way I stay fairly safe, and get the first shots onto targets.
For that playstyle the IS7 was good, because it had the speed to get into the position I wanted to be in (1/3 -> 1/2 way across the map) had decent armour and firepower.
Since release I went the US T30 path and I found the T30 to be very similar with a little less speed and a little more firepower. Its hull is a little softer, but when you snipe its not much of a problem if you try to dig in somewhere.
I played the maus in beta, and i hated it, mainly because it was slow so it didn't suit me. The maus's Armour has been reworked since beta too, so its more of a fortress now. So although I dont like playing a maus, I dont like fighting against one either. Overall the 3 T10 heavy's are equally decent.
I played the T54 a lot during beta, It was a decent tank but I prefer the heavies.
Artillery, Ive player a little including the top artillery in beta and test servers, But I'm just not a fan of hiding and shooting from afar. They are powerful, but not my style.
TD's suit my playstyle too, but I dislike not being able to shoot sidewards, its not nice when a medium gets in close and runs circles around you. Their firepower is nice, but, I prefer a turret.
So all in all, I play T10's heavies, The T30 atm.
But I also like playing the KV with the 152, the hotchkiss and the lowe for credits.
The main stat I look for is damage done per game. Ie making sure I pump out my share of damage to the enemy.
On the T30, I'm currently 244,544 damage done, in 128 games, so 1910 damage a game. 637 Exp average.
My stats are a little low, because I do a lot of bug testing, and get distracted with work while playing a fair bit : )

All of your gripes are things that you can take care of yourself if you aren't too cheap, incompetent or lazy. You could even beat the 'saboteur' in the landing tourney if you weren't this way.

ARGO: Funny, I too have a VK3001 and I have a lot of fun with it. My
question is "How are you using it?" I use mone much like I do a KV,
hide snipe and dogfight only when needed. Unless your fighting same
or lower tiers you should not expect with the short 88 to be owning
big tanks or wiining wars here. Try out the 10.5 if you wanna dog
fight but remember that it's no heavy.....equip camo net, gun
laying drive and a rammer, should be good combo for it....I do.

* What primary tank gun would it use?
* What type of secondary machine guns would be installed on it?
* What engine and chassis would make it move?

* What radio and optical equipment would suit it best?
The general rules:
• Only one work per player is allowed;
• The image should not violate the game/forum rules, or EULA.
These are the questions you’ll need to answer when designing an ideal tank of your own. The only limit for your imagination is the vehicle you will design should use technologies available no later than December of 1945, be capable to be used during shipping assaults and able to be either mass-produced or produced for certain purposes in limited quantity.
