dance210: State Farm is a car insurance company (although maybe they do other
insurance as well, I don't now). On the commercials, after any sort
of car accident or incident, the person sings/says "Like a good
nieghbor State Farm is there" and the insurance rep immediately to
take care of their problems.

kill/damage here. Basically, it's all automated so
whoever takes damage gets compensated and whoever gives damage is

looking in a different direction, but as long as you spot them for
a long distance friendly to damage, you should get credit.

or whatever, but I have gotten a couple of Patrol Duty medals for
spotting the enemy and having them take damage.

unreasonable to expect that when an error is found, all news
related to the event would be changed to reflect the true
information? WG staff has admitted, multiple times in multiple
places, including the millions of support tickets, that an error
occurred. I don't believe admitting a mistake is part of a cover up
plot....but I could be wrong.

admitted the mistake, taken care of the TigerP fiasco at the
beginning, and most of what happned this weekend seem to be on the

As far as changing the calendar and news items, I give WG props for that. They UPDATED their information so that anyone else who may not have figured out that the event ended early could see the new time. Don't insult us. Had you just said "we screwed up," I don't think I would have bothered with a reply. Not a big deal. But rather, you imply this event is a make up for it. You should have made very, very clear this event was already scheduled, and isn't a "make up" to us. Fixing a mistake with what most people see as a lie is NOT an apology in any way, shape, or form acceptable.

way to try and make up for the shortened weekend? Do you have some
knowledge of what the event was before today that we should know
about? It really shouldn't be a surprise that there was something
already scheduled for Super Bowl weekend. It would have been more
of a surprise if there wasn't something scheduled. But that doesn't
mean that items weren't added on to the already approved event.
So next time, instead of trying to make things better, WG should simply apologize and move on. Is that what you really want? Because I'm sure it can be arranged.
