In point of fact, the special was actually terminated at least an hour before their official story claims, at 3:00 AM PST. The evidence, no fewer then seven forum posts made before 4:00 AM PST commenting on the premature end of the promotion:

was (0330) and not an estimate. Maybe technically it's a lie, but

estimate?? FYI, your earliest "proof" is only 3:33 AM....last time

As far as changing the calendar and news items, I give WG props for that. They UPDATED their information so that anyone else who may not have figured out that the event ended early could see the new time. Should they have left it as it was, so more people would be blindsided? They also updated the first page of this thread, which implies that they aren't trying to hide or lie about anything.
