Subject: Why Is NA Getting The Shaft In The Gift Shop?

Why is it certain areas get certain packages but others do not. Take for example Russia. They get access to the M6A2E1 and the PzV/IV. Two tanks WG swore up down left and right would NEVER be sold again, but in Russia servers, 120 bucks gets you the PzV/IV and 25k gold, and IIRC 99 bucks gets you the Mutant 6.
WHY?
Why do you sell certain tanks here but not there, or go back on your word of "these tanks are never going to be sold". Guess you should of stated "not on the NA server"
Sorry not trying to sound entitled and all Rampage, but that's freaking ridiculous to do that. Either offer them to ALL, or none at all.
Stop this oh some get better, some get something else, for some, you get crapped on. BE FAIR. That too much to freakin ask?

Major_Rampage:
The Alpha and Beta Tester Gift Tanks: there are no plans to release them in the NA Gift Shop.
The Pre-order Tanks: there are no plans to release them in the NA Gift Shop.
New Years Gift Tanks: there are no plans to release them in the NA Gift Shop.
I am sorry this is not the answer you wanted to hear. If you would like to continue a discussion about the status of those premium tanks I would ask that you please do that in the official thread we have dedicated to that subject: http://forum.worldof...-the-gift-shop/

agree that the Gift shop packages are pretty lame once you do the
math.
You would think that the packages would be a little more on the lines of: You are getting a deal/ a special rate versus what you could normally just buy in gold and buy all the same things with that gold. You know, something better than the normal gold rate
Spread the Gift Shop packages out some, so we dont' get them as often and give better discounts with them.

Yoott: Gift shop packages are not supposed to be a HUGE DEAL or a promo or
any discount ... they are a package you can GIFT as opposed to just
giving gold... yes most are bought for personal account use but in
reality its set up to be deals you can buy for OTHERS....... hence
not needing any discounts....

repair kits with premium fire extinguishers?
Please?
Hurk, on Mar 25 2013 - 20:25, said: Rampage, i think the real issue is the inconsistency.
maybe include a "percent off" in the labeling to help people understand? also... i like how their packages are detailed out in gold values. makes it easier to understand.
so if our package is say, 3000 gold value, and compared to buying 3000g its 11% off, then thats a lot more detail than people having to do all the math themselves.
i dont think anyone really has an issue with the total package value being tied to a similar cost of gold.
_Bergs_, on Mar 25 2013 - 20:28, said: Please consider the feedback from your players then. The addition
of premium consumables has never been wanted, so why keep adding
them?
Obviously offering to good of a deal too often can be bad, but only offering a few choices is just going to the other side of the spectrum.
Really want most of us want are interesting gift packs that are worth our investment.
Perhaps offer a poll with 5 or so options every week and the winner will make it into the shop? (Borrowing that idea from Steam)

Major_Rampage: Like I said in the official thread for this weeks gift
shop, we have some changes coming up in the gift
shop. April is going run similar to the last few
months. This is the first time that people
have requested different consumables in the packages. So
that feedback will take some time to filter through and you should
be seeing that with the May gift shop packages. We also
have a few other ideas we are working on.

Major_Rampage: Let me see what can be done here. That is also hard to
give an exact percentage discount. Right now the way the
gift shops have worked, is that a discount is applied to
the bundle of items being put on sale. The value of that
discount is then added back to the package in the form of premium
consumables.

Major_Rampage: Please see some of the above information. Right now all
gift shop packages, specials, and other
events are finalized on the 10th of the previous
month. So I have already planned out all of
April. As for the premium consumables as I explained
above those are the factor for the discounts. We have a
few new ideas we are working on right now as well. But
those are changes you would see in May as well.

Major_Rampage: Okay a few things:
1) We all work under the same set of rules to plan gift shop events.
2) I don't think it's fair that you tear apart the packages I have put together, but then put the other servers deal up on a pedestal. As soon as my specials come out you tear them apart, you assume the proper conversion rate for premium time is if you buy it a year at a time, and the gold conversion should be at the rate of the of buying the largest value gold package. But as soon as a different server lists their value you just go with it.
3) Is there credit package a helluva a deal? Yes. Have we run credit packages as that much of a discount in the past? Yes. Will we do it again? Yes.
4) Keep you eye out for our anniversary deals coming up next month for some amazing credit packages.
5) No one is going to lock this thread as long as the conversation remains civil and on topic.

account for groups with 7 teams. But all teams must play on the
same map as this is a current tool limitation. We'll add an
additional map/week to the schedule for 7-team groups' tie
breakers. This means the playoffs will begin a week later than
currently scheduled.
On another note, please stay tuned for an updated group schedule accounting for disqualified "no show" teams. All opposing teams are automatically granted a win against these teams for the remainder of the second round.
Teams are allowed to replace inactive players until Sunday. Please send me a PM or email notification to tournaments@wargamingamerica.com.
Speaking of Sunday, this weekend's battles mark a bye for all teams. Plans for a simultaneous event failed but we're sticking to the outlined schedule for teams that anticipated this bye.

Major_Rampage: We have had a new idea for the gift shop, it came up
after April was approved, you should be seeing them for
May.
As I don't think we have explained in a while, the current way the discounts work on the gift shops are that a discount is applied to the gift shop package and that value is then added in the form of premium consumables.
I hear that you would have preferred "Food" consumables from so players, the problem is that if we put Cola in a package, then players who don't play US Tanks wouldn't be interested in the package.
Out of the remaining option of Large Repair Kits, Large First Aid kits, and Automatic Fire Extinguishers what would you prefer?

The Russian server gift shop is 100 time better than this. We have the IS-6 for $51.49.....Russian server has IS-6 +12 large repair +12 auto fire extinguishers for $48.40 They also have the M6A2E1 & PzKpfw V-IV in the gift shop. Tanks NA server keeps getting told they won't sell.
Until this obvious bias ends I will spend nothing to support this company.

THE FLUFF!! Enough with the large repair/med kits. We don't want
them. You just use these to blow up the already overpriced
items.
