Lert: Damage = credits. More damage = more credits. Repairs cost credits. Less repairs = less credit loss.   It also helps to get premium, and / or keep a few premium / low tier tanks around.   This game is designed to lose a player credits at higher tiers, to ... 'encourage' them to get premium and thus make WG money.

dance210: Alright kids, here's the deal.   Normally, I take care of the Skirmishes. Every Wednesday is my day off - which means someone else needs take care of things. Depending on how busy they are with their work, standings may or may not be done before end of day.   I would do the standings from home, but they would have to be unofficial as I don't have access to disputes.   So, while I apologize, I hope y'all will continue to be patient. If official standings don't go up today, then I'll have them up first thing tomorrow morning.   Thanks!

Pigeon_of_War:     No, not really. SPGs (arty, artillery, what have you) have the disadvantage of having no real way of defending themselves in a close quarters fight, and a relatively large dispersion reticle for aimed shots. Imagine a Heavy tank creeping around a corner more then 50 meters away, and you "un-lock" your camera from the tank to watch their every action, without a scout or Medium risking damage to properly give you that vision. They only way an SPG would be able to see you from around a corner, if at all, would be someone else spotted you.
