Lert:   Yeah, interesting that. That is primer red, the color the germans used to prime their AFV's with before painting the base color on. During the latter days of the war, defense of berlin et al, it wasn't unheard of for some vehicles (Panthers IIRC) to show up with primer red turrets and skirts because they were needed on the front line before the factory had had the time to paint them.   Only thing is, gun barrels were primed in special, more expensive heat-resistant grey primer insted of the basic red primer, so even if the artwork is supposed to represent a hypothetical vehicle which was delivered before the turret was painted, the gun barrels are a wrong color.

veganzombiez:   I took a quick look, and I don't see any emblems for your clan.  Clear your browser cache (or try another browser) and try to upload it again.  It'll take 24 hours at most for it to appear, but if it doesn't, submit a ticket to Clan Management and attach the clan emblem that should be appearing.  We can upload it directly for you.   You can also take a screenshot of the menu showing that you've got the emblems uploaded (there'll be a checkmark), so the CSR can see if he can try to reproduce it.

After clicking on this link, please double check to make sure you are logged in, as one of these links is in the news section and the other is in the clans section. Funny that, I've been looking into a forum logout issue for some time now, and I wonder if this is similar... so please let me know.  

AgentXIII:   No I'm not, I'm a customer support lead, which means I see the penalty appeals after you get your RO. On that note, our moderators are not out to fill a quota, they're actually a great group of folks that try their hardest to maintain a peaceful forum. If that means giving an RO to someone that may or may not have found a way to circumvent the rules, or accidentally giving an RO to someone that didn't deserve it, then that's what happens. My main point is that no one is 100% perfect and accidents happen, if you feel you have been a victim of an accident, send in an appeal and then my team will take look at it.

AgentXIII: Hrmm it seems this conversation has digressed a little and gone off topic.   The primary issue at hand that I see, is that Customer Support is unable to really investigate issues on modded clients when it comes to bug investigations and a lot of Technical issues. Without this thread however, we may have kept spinning in circles as now we have an investigation going for this awesomium folder in res_mods instead of just res.   I feel that this forum thread, was highly beneficial even if it took a turn for the worse. I will now be locking this thread down and un-approving some content, but will leave the thread up so that it may serve as a reminder that sometimes its the community that figures out the issue when support cannot.

Lert:   Plans to introduce no new pref MM tanks do not equal plans to stop selling pref MM tanks. You raise an interesting point, but I will reserve my judgment until I actually see it happening.

The_Chieftain:   You miss my point.   I'm not saying anything about Challenger. I have not been involved with EU musea, I have not tried to get involved with EU musea. He may be the best thing ever, and Yuri has it wrong, or he may be terrible and Yuri has it right. I am very much staying out of that issue. Maybe your contacts in the musea can be more helpful.   What concerns me more is the effect this is going to have on Yuri who, I would presume, told you out of friendliness or for background info. If you were sitting on the table of the WG Board of Directors, you'd be probably more mad at Yuri for airing dirty laundry in public than for the nature of the laundry itself which should be dealt with in-house. Background knowledge is fine, but you've just pointed a big finger at the guy saying "He's telling us about WG's internal problems and naming names," That sort of thing can get people fired.
