dance210:     There will be changes compared to how the tournament page looks now, but not exactly what you're thinking of. For the Skirmish/Weekday Warfare, players will likely still need to use third party sites or look at the forums for the standings. Part of the reason is because in NA, we use the ratio of points earned:points possible (aka what I can Win Ratio to be lazy) to determine standings; afaik, no other region does that. The first step is to introduce universal concepts that are shared across all regions, then I can try to push our agenda   To give you an idea of what a kind of complete tournament looks like, you can check here. This is one that we have played with internally, and it shows how the battle results will look for the group stage as well as the playoffs. It also has some of the tournament details more filled out - at the top, you can see each stage (although I goofed and it says To Be Published under each one - that should have an actual date/time when done correctly), and where it says "Test" is where special restrictions would go. It also has how the prize section will look, assuming I can get it working for multi-prize tournaments like the Skirmish.   For the actual brackets, teams will be able to show just their battles for each stage. And each team page shows the personal rating of the players - not exactly the same as Gosutactics or Wotscout but it's a step   I agree though. I love the third party sites and think they do an awesome job, but players shouldn't need to go there to find information on our tournaments. Please, keep working with me so we can make our stuff better...this is only the first version, and hopefully we can get some suggestions included as we make this better!

The_Chieftain:   Exactly what it says. Dana Lombardy is a chap we've known for some time, and to my understanding Lombardy Books purchased the rights to sell the Tactical Press series in English. Caused a bit of a ruckus when the two different dealmakers found out about the Echo Point/Hunnicutt negotiations, which have still not progressed but not stalled either.

Time zones matched up and I was finally able to speak directly with one of the devs   Click Join Click Find A Team Click on the orange Find a Team again   If no teams show up, hit Ctrl+R   This will reload the page while clearing the cache. Once you do that, the list of teams should be visible. I guess the Common Test site is known to have cache issues, so it's an artifact of that. Sorry!    

dance210:   Hiya Mythary!   Same deal as above. When you are on your team page, hit Ctrl+R. It should force a reload and clearing the cache, and your team should now be visible.         I'm going to add the Ctrl+R fix to the OP, but if there are any continuing errors or bugs please, continue to let me know!

dance210: What team are you on? And is there a password set up for your team?   Worse case scenario, you can shoot me a PM with the players to add, and I can take care of it on the backend.

The part in red is the difference. This should work for most of the pages.   I will also mark all of our tournaments as [NA], so feel free to ignore the rest of them

The_Chieftain: What exactly are you looking for? The T69/T54E1 autoloaders were both drums. Unlike the AMX-13 type, which had autoloaders in the far bustle behind the crew, the US ones tended to be more forward, between the crew.

The_Chieftain: An interesting concept of a video. I approve.   Couple of points.   The US Army never had any particular intention of buying T14. It was built to a British request. The US looked at it themselves for the technological assessment to see what they could learn, but that was about as far as it would go.   The bulge on the hull front is for the rotocyclone, basically a ventilation fan. It is thicker than anywhere else because it is more vertical. US tank production was specified on the level of "Armor basis", i.e. effective thickness, so lesser sloped parts of the tank had to be thicker if possible.

The_Chieftain: T110E5, M103, T95 are my top three. Though in reality, I love pretty much every American vehicle there is. They all work for me.

The_Chieftain:   Mmm... I'm inclined to agree with this. I know I could be earning a substantial amount more than I am, but I do enjoy the job I am doing right now quite a lot and I think that counts for a hell of a lot. So there's definitely a balance to be found between the two. Obviously I still have to be paid enough to afford the mortgage, kid, car, etc, as 'enjoyment' only goes so far.
