dance210:   Haha but tickets mean that I'm loved, right?? :-D <3   The tournament page sometimes has caching issues and can take a few minutes to update the data from the admin system. Using Ctrl+R to refresh the page or waiting ~15 min will fix the issue. Or, spamming people is fun  

dance210:   There will be a random map for each match within the group stage. When you look at the schedule, it should tell you which map you play at each time.   For the playoffs, the same map will be played for all matches within a round (e.g. for the Quarterfinals you will only play on one map and the Semifinals may be played on a different map).

GhostPrime: Please keep in mind all battles within the game are to be played in a competitive manner. Battles can not be staged / fought within the game to gain additional fame from the battle. Examples of prohibited play in games.   "Not killing/firing upon enemy tanks, when its obvious that should be happening in normal play."   By logging in and not playing, you are effectively Not Attending battles as you are throwing away the competitive nature of this battle and thus are breaking the rules. http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/446742-prohibited-conduct-during-clan-wars-events/

The_Chieftain: So for the Floaty Things, I wrote an article, and attempted to observe that a war started because a soldier (Japanese) went off to relieve  himself, didn't tell his buddies were he was going, and they thought a nearby Chines encampment had something to do with it when it was noticed he was absent.   I thought it was an amusing object lesson in communication. Content editors thought it fell afoul of our rules prohibiting discussion of bodily functions and wanted it edited out. It remains to be seen which way they went.

dance210:   Call to Arms is a recurring clan tournament that usually happens every Saturday. While Dec. 10 may not be optimal for those participating in the campaign, hopefully you'll be able to participate after the campaign is over

The_Chieftain:   I think it would be an original, actually. There are three precedents offhand.   1) The new production of Yak 9s. Built from the original tooling which was laying around after the war gathering dust, the serial numbers continue. 2) Same with the Me262s under restarted production, 3) Tornado, the  British locomotive, is considered to be the 50th in the Peppercorn class despite being built over 50 years after the 49th, and, again, the serial number is sequential, as she was built to the same plans as the other 49.   So, if you were to build an indistinguishable Texas, it would be the third New York class ship, not a replica.   Of course, we can also open up the Theseus' Ship arguments...

The_Chieftain:   Well, not specifically, but, yes, it did occur to me that IS-3s would have issues dealing with IS-3s from the front. Which, given how the IS-3 tends to be the tank of choice in competition, I think could incentivise taking other vehicles instead. I doubt this was a criterion in their thinking, but I like the thought at first blush. I have no issues at all with your last sentence. In this particular circumstance, it happened that the bug simply reinforced an incorrect extrapolation. The player reaction was quite reasonable from their perspective as a result.
