iScending: To be fair I was at over -1500 within 6 weeks of starting here at
Wargaming so rep isn't taken into account. As others pointed out,
quality of posts and warning points are.

There's most probably a good reason for OP's negative reputation. - Mods work from home. - Mods must be at least 18 years old. - Mods have a weekly quota. - Mods get paid, but it's not much (less than 200€ I heard). - If you want to become a mod, you have to send an application and if they take you be a trainee for a couple of weeks. - The application must be in English, but moderators do not necessarily need to speak English fluently if their primary responsibility is going to be a national subsection of the forums. - Mods are generally not supposed to post in threads, participate in discussions or post their opinions. There are a few exceptions.
iScending: Xensation speaks the truth :). This is a really good summary of
what the position entails. When we have openings we post this on
the News and Notifications forum but at the moment we are not in
need of more moderators. As this topic is now answered and
has instead become a little bit of a troll fest I'm locking it.

Dakiras: When an issue affects a large number of people and a recurring
theme comes up (such as this being only for Talktalk customers)
then you can assume that it's a routing issue between your ISP and
the servers. Different ISPs will have routes to a specific location
that differ from others. If something breaks down between your ISP
and the route to the server, it will affect most of the people with
the same service, but not others. We saw no issues with
connections, and the game servers have been running without
incident throughout the day. A specific ISP issue with routing
isn't something that we can see, so there's no way for us to fix
it. :)

Auf dem Live Server wird es
genausoviele Leute geben die mit Tiger und Co in die historischen
Gefechte gehen. Allerdings wird es da eben auch Leute geben die mit
T-34, Pz. IV H oder gar Pz. II in diese Gefechte springen. Entweder
weil sie Geschichtsfreaks sind, oder weil sie die Herausforderung
suchen, oder aber weil sie einfach die High-Tier Fahrzeuge noch
nicht erforscht haben. Schaut zum Beispiel mich an. Ich hab
16k Gefechte, aber ich habe weder Tiger, noch StuG III oder
Nachfolger, noch IS noch SU-152 oder höher, noch Slugger, noch
hellcat erforscht. Trotz der beachtlichen Anzahl an Gefechten werde
ich also für den Anfang gezwungen sein mit Fahrzeugen niedriger
Stufen anzutreten. Und es gibt Leute die noch deutlich weniger weit
sind als ich.
Deswegen bin ich der Meinung,
dass sich auf dem Live-Server ein komplett anderes Bild ergeben
wird.
Kann natürlich falsch liegen,
aber um das rauszufinden gibt's nur eins: Abwarten und Tee
trinken. Ich bin optimistisch.

PanzerGert: Im Grunde war ich erstaunt das es im November nicht direkt benannt
wurde das manche Panzer im Team einfach besser funktionieren als
andere. Es ist ja nicht so das man, wie jetzt im historischen
Gefecht auf dem Testserver, Panzervorgaben hätte. Es ist also nicht
verwunderlich das es darauf hinausläuft, auch wenn die Absicht die
dahinter stand an sich eine andere war. Es nutzt aber auch
nichts die Realitäten zu verleugnen wie das Teamgefecht genutzt
wird, dazu braucht man diese nur einen Abend fahren. Meiner
Meinung nach ist es dennoch alle mal besser als wenn man nur
Zufallsgefechte oder Kompanien zur Verfügung hätte, es macht das
ganze flexibler. Es stellen sich dahingehend auch einige weitere
Fragen die aber nicht direkt im Zusammenhang mit den jetzigen
Teamgefechten stehen. Solange Panzer unterschiedliche
Attribute haben, solange werden wir auch, bei freier Auswahl,
sehen das die für Teamspiel am besten geeigneten Panzer mitgenommen
werden.

accounts, just like yours, and they have no special advantages over
other players. The same goes for all staff actually, we don't get

docela dobrá bitva, nebylo moc času na hraní ale štěstí mě
potkalo T-34-3 vs T-54. Jinak je T-34-3 docela nepoužitelný stroj.
Střeli někdy letí jak chtějí, prvních 100 bitev bez hoření a pak
hned 4x po sobě

V něčem je opravdu unikátní, ale převážně má víc mínusu.
Určitě by chtělo zlepšit zlatou munici. Když to nesežere dvojitý
pancíř tak pás. Dělo, akcelerace, hoření, munice, věž, deprese, ani
jedna věc nemá trochu na vrch
. Chápu že to není typ 59, ale typ 59
má všechno lepší a vypadá stejně,T-34-3 má těžší dělo ale menší
pancíř o 10mm takže akcelerace by měla být totožná, ale
není.

Karlie: S T-34-3 musíš vždycky doměřit, jinak to má tendence lítat
mimo a ideálně hrát přes věž a na blízko. Je to hodně specifické
hraní a taky mi to extra nešlo.

is mostly useless and people just ask for votes. Their system as it
currently stands gives no reward or incentive, and yet
it's still abused to an extent. It doesn't give a true
representation of someone. Add incentives and people will try to
abuse it while not really changing. I'm all for new,
forward-thinking ideas but I don't believe a simple form of
positive reinforcement is quite enough to effect positive change.

iScending: Understandable, but you are comparing apples to oranges. We don't
sell 500 euro tanks, nor 1000 euro airplanes, we sell premium tanks
and planes for not even a tenth of that price. I highly doubt you'd
walk into a store and start haggling with the clerk when you are
buying a 50 euro video game, or in a convenience store when you
need to buy food. As for the option to buy "loose gold" so
to say I'm actually not sure why we don't have that here in the EU
but I'll try and find out :).
Oh, and stay on topic guys, I don't mind this discussion but please don't bring in politics, IRL utility costs etc as they have no place in this thread.

Otherwise, yeah, it will be a mess. The biggest problem was
the setup, i prefer: 2x IS3, 2x 50100, 1390 and 2 tier 1 tanks (T1
is not as good as many think... but if the player prefers, go for
it). The strength in the setup above is not only in the burst, but
also in its speed! Whatever you see upon you, you can decide how
you will use your tanks. We all know the IS3 and 1390 and how they
should be used, but the 50100 makes you flexible, you can attack or
defend with it and it even has the speed to decap on time (maybe
returning while reloading). Now, unless the enemy has the same
setup, you can always choose a tactic and strategy that gives you
advantage i think. When they come with a lot of (non auto-loader)
heavy tanks, you got speed in your advantage and you can play a
guerilla tactic (just kill the seperated tanks one by one), or let
them come to your cap and send the 1390 and t1's to the enemy cap
(they wont be back on time and you win on cap), your 4 heavy tanks
should be able to hold the 5 tanks busy for a while and if they
keep 1 base defender, you should be able to win, maybe even by
letting the 1390 flank. On some maps you can sacrafice the IS3's,
let the 1390+t1's cap and let the 50100's guard the route to their
cap. If the enemy digs in, you can spot and try to snipe (unseen),
or try a cap rush 1,5 minute before the battle ends and if it
failes, let the 1390 run to draw that hated tactic out. If the
enemy has a setup using even more autoloaders, lights or meds,
you've got to keep your tanks close to each other and make sure
they can help each other. The setup however can be fast enough to
kill a few of them and can make it back on time to defend the cap.
Remember that you will have more armor or HP... use this and dont
let the reloading tanks run away! Never take a td in these
teambattles, some are big fan of the new german td and likely it
will do its damage, but because you cannot go in the push (for it
will shoot once and then will be focussed to death) and than it
cannot shield nor focus with the team on many maps. Other td's are
eiter to slow or unable to defend themselves (vs a 1390). Bringing
a td will also limit yourself in tactics, so the enemy will likely
know very soon what you will do (defend ?!?!?!?). If an
enemy takes f.e. 3 heavy tanks and 2 times a 1390, you can use the
50100's to help the 1390 to get their 1390's. Since it is unlikely
they will come to push on your heavy tanks having only 3 of them
theirselves, you can easily kill their scouts (dont forget to stay
unspotted in your 50100 as long as possible and to retreet your
IS3's as soon as the attack on the 1390's start). Also if both have
1 1390 on a map like abbey you can send a 50100 along with the 1390
towards the abbey, just in case their 1390 will try to encounter
your 1390, here counts as well, stay unspotted as long as possible
and show only if you can take out the enemy for sure.
Nevertheless, i like to use 2x 50100, not only because of the
burst, but sometimes for its speed, sometimes for its HP, sometimes
to use for cover (big meatshield :-P ), but mainly because it gives
me a lot of options for the strategy.

Die Panzer in meiner Garage sind dann weg, aber bekomme ich gleichzeitig die fünf Neuen (inkl. Garagenstellplätze) oder wird der Pz IV und die StugIII quasi "verkauft" und ich erhalte die Credits, aber keine zusätzlichen Stellplätze etc.?

bleiben in der Garage mit der neuen Namenskonvention.

Karlie: Ano :) Jinak se strašně omlouvám, ale jelikož jsem to
jezdila převážně doma, mam výsledky doma, dneska přijdu pozdě a
zítra vstávám ve 4 na letiště, takže vůbe cnevím, jestli se k tomu
dostanu. Pokud nááááhodou ne, tak to vyhodnotím po návratu. Pro
přehled, s T-34-3 jsem dala něco kolem 1050, vůbec mi to nešlo a s
VICem mam něco kolem 750 - ať víte, kdo to plus mínus dal a kdo ne.

Karlie: Protože Android běží na spoustě různých platforem, verzí pro
Android je spousta (Samsung, Sony atd atd, všechno se to liší...),
proto se lépe testuje na Applu, kde je to pořád ten samý hardware.
