Overlord: All servers suffered equally, waiting for 7.0 to come.
Just based on unbiased figures, Russian server has peak CCU of 252.000+ which is more than 300% of the CCUs of US and EU combined, the same goes for other parameters. Moreover WoT master language is Russian, so there is no wonder that each update gets released on RU side first. And even more it is RU server that has been overcrowded for the past few months, which caused a number of prime-time crashes (10+). Server stability is the primary target,and multi-server technology feature is to ensure it. Even if we release a bunch of new game modes, features and tanks at once and at the same time are unable to maintain the stable and smooth work of the servers - there would be no use.
I'm not an advertiser. On the forums and blog I provide the current development trends, short-term plans, ideas, thoughts, which not always (and they don't have to at all) come true, however many (I believe) find some fun in following this kind of info as well.
Edited: The good point for EU and US here is that releases there are ALWAYS much smoother and shorter, since the procedure is fine-tuned on RU server.

Overlord: The reply was correct. Inter-region merger is not planned. IE, RU and US will function as totally independent instances. First of, we are planning to introduce multi-server support within the stated region, than to make one global map for CWs.

Well basicaly you would give more choice for MM just you woul'd never know what you gonna play, but you know you will be rewarded for that, also it would involve some random exitment.
I think that coul'd fix a lot.

OldFox: Разница в серверах. У вас тут высадки начинаются с 1/8, максимум с 1/16, на РУ-сервере - с 1/64. Сравни количество команд и подумай о том, что среди 64 команд шанс на вылет в 4 раза выше, чем среди 16. Твои оппоненты по инерции говорят про РУ-сервер, где у них и сформировались первоначальные взгляды на Глобальную войну.
