Jewel_Thief: Welcome Pico!! ::throws confetti::
As for her current status as "Player" -- have no fear, she's legit... It's my bad that she doesn't yet have an "official" title in the forums. (I'm working on it, folks! I just have to decide what kind of awesome title to give her...)
As for everyone else: be nice! ...and keep it classy... You'll be seeing a lot of new faces around here-- don't embarrass us! ::evil mother hen eye::

No seriously, they should be updated soon. Hobbstrosity usually handles that but he is in China for World Cyber Games.

Subject: Start penalizing those who die in 1st 1:30.

dance210: So, if a fast medium or TD happens to have really bad luck and gets
killed by the enemy in a short period of time, they should be
penalized? Or if arty has a lucky shot in the enemies spawn and
happens to kill a tank? This will do more than punish the
sui-scouts, it will also punish those who may be honestly trying to
help the team.
And, correct me if I'm wrong, but there isn't anything against the rules about rushing into enemy spawn and dying in a blaze of fire, so why should it be penalized?

dance210: True, it's not. But from what I've seen, the issue generally isn't
discussing TKing, it's discussing it outside of the official thread
(aka making a duplicate post, which is a problem). I was hoping to
lead those who might wish to talk about it to the right place,
before a GM gets here

I'd recommend keeping the thread here though--the social aspect isn't just about clans. While we want to improve the tools available to clans, the social aspect covers the whole game.

Surprised they haven't been docked any games for the "we will rush to these hull down positions and camp it out for 12 minutes" strategies, only to move when the other team is forced to run into their guns at maximum disadvantage.
Each time they lost, from the 6 games I did see of theirs, they only failed to see the flanking misdirection and had to be dug out or they made a gross error in pressing what they thought was a sure advantage after camping. If none of their tanks aren't going to move 60 seconds from their spawn and then stay there for 13 minutes, why are they being passed onto the playoffs when so many teams they beat were forced to meet them on terrible terms with 3 minutes left for fear of being penalized themselves?
Did they have rush strategies or even skirmish strategies in any match?

lord_farquad: They did, in fact most of the rounds they won, they started the
first round of the match by rushing almost directly to cap. They
usually didn't seem to get campy until after they had already won
at least one game in the set.
