How ironic.
Soviet bias alive and well.

GeneralDirection: Yep, a Texan created the event because he's Soviet biased.

View PostPraetor77, on Dec 01 2012 - 18:56, said: 20K is laughable. I normally gain 65k on a loss with T34 or 80k on a win... with 1 or 2 kills...
The special should  just give 2X credits on matches with topgun, now THAT would be a nice special! :D
Also solves the problem with poeple just frag-stealing to get 6 kills. If they stole those frags, a 2X will not give them much creds...

GeneralDirection: It doesn't look laughable to the folks who have gotten Top Gun in this thread. A standard account player made 21k profit with the JagdTiger (a tier 9) because of this event. That is hardly laughable, and also means you can focus on the tanks you like playing instead of the ones that earn the most credits. Again, hardly laughable.

GeneralDirection: Some quick comments before I head to the office:
Yes, there is a typo. That should obviously be December for the creative contest. The dates are accurate.
You can see the duration of all these events on the events calendar.
We're trying something a little different with the gift shop this month. It won't be broken up into two groups of offers. We'll be changing the temporary offers weekly to include more variety in the packages during the month. We have a lot of premium vehicles now, so it made sense.

I am a gainfully employed American and this is just a disappointment to me. You have the resources to put an English ingame notification about this a day after it started (better late than never), but no resources available to record and post the matches on a video site other than one having a Chinese user experience (i.e. youtube, google, etc...)?

I wish I didn't know about it. Your PR team should be ashamed of themselves. Just terrible.

GeneralDirection:
The in-game announcement actually started when WCG did, it didn't start today. It fires off every 2 hours.
