WetRock, on Nov 30 2012 - 21:10, said: Some of us gave feedback about this which was clearly ignored as the started off with the worst medal possible for such a thing.
It's not bad because of so-called 'kill stealing'. It is bad because of wheat it will do to gameplay, especially towards the end of a game. This will pit teammates against each other. Some guys already seem to do things that are against the team or are completely out for themselves. You've now created a situation that promotes that sort of play. The Top Gun and the Scout medals should not be used for such events.

GeneralDirection: It was not ignored, but it was also too late to change the events
for December. We're taking feedback into account for 2013 and will
work with the EU team to make sure things are balanced across
region and medals provide rewards appropriate to their difficulty
and impact on the gameplay.

GeneralDirection: Hello tankers,
We wanted to give you a heads up that there is currently an issue with the price of premium shells when purchased with credits. We discovered a glitch in the functionality of granting a bonus to gold converting to credits, which is also affecting the price of premium shells. They are currently 20% more expensive than they should be.
To be clear, this is not intended. We are working to fix the error as soon as possible. If all else fails, on Monday the shells should be back to normal price, and we will discontinue the bonus to gold converting to credits until this issue is fixed.

Mugsy_: Hey kittykibble,
I have helpful news. We are going to be implementing a mentoring program which will pair players from all levels of skill with a veteran player who can help them reach their ability and knowledge goals.
While this isn't quite ready for implementation yet, we do have a newcomers section on our forum which tends to be populated with helpful folks who want to encourage others and are available as a resource.
My advice is make some friends and platoon, platoon, platoon. Anything of substance I know about tanking I was able to gather from playing with folks who are much better than me.
Hang in there, don't get too discouraged.

Don't let trolls in game or on the forum (even in this very thread) get to you.
You don't have to worry about people fraudulently reporting you for hacking.
Most of the important game events happen server side and not client side our game is not very easily hacked or modified for any substantial advantage.
So your best bet is just to ignore people's nonsense.
Have fun tanking, sir.

and about 10x as often as every other medal...
therefore the special should be for Sniper as i am greedy.

I think, there are those who are transplanted crew with three perks in 1 tier tank and arrange Armageddon in the sandbox.

"Earning the Top Gun medal in battle will reward you with an additional 5,000 credits multiplied by the Tier of the tank which will receive a medal."

GeneralDirection: Fortunately we have a lot planned, all of those
medals except for Scout are part of the rotation.

GeneralDirection: I suppose we'll see on Monday or Tuesday what this did to the
outcome of battles. If we see a dramatic rise in draws, then you're
right.

I think, there are those who are transplanted crew with three perks in 1 tier tank and arrange Armageddon in the sandbox.
GeneralDirection: That only translates to 2,000 credits. If we were to reward gold
(which we don't have plans to right now), it would be 50 gold.

GeneralDirection: This is something we're discussing. However, it's not possible
right now to scale the reward based on tier.

GeneralDirection: And if you earn Top Gun in your StuG III then that's 40k profit.
I'm having trouble understanding how that's bad.
