1. Premium gives you a more snazzy looking garage.
+50% exp and +50% credits, per battle.
So if you play a average amount, it is well worth it.
Also you need premium to make a platoon or company, but not to join one.
2. Just play and have fun, and find what you like.
Its commonly said around here, that artillery is overpowered, and similarly said that Russian tanks are overpowered.
Personally I prefer speed, so I prefer the medium tank range. So if i was to grind up atm i probably would pick the US medium range and level up into a Pershing.
Or if you play a real lot you could (I would) aim for a Russian heavy IS7 has a speed of 50, so it has speed and firepower/armor.
I personally dont find the sit and fire artillery much fun. And I don't like TD's due to their weakness of not being able to fire sidewards (no turret).
What you prefer, is for you to explore.
3. Yes, the games are mixed tanks.
There might be some country specific historical battles later.

However, i'm sure if you can also understand that if you expect the devs to take their time to read your suggestions and comments and questions etc etc.. In return you also need to take the time to make sure you aren't asking questions that they have already answered or that have been covered, or worse no question at all and just offtopic spam..
As a result of the above, the moderation of the dev's section has always been fairly strict, (requiring moderator approval for the initial post), 50 posts to post there, etc.
And double the normal ban times for offenses.

Recently its been a higher priority and names in violation aren't allowed to be created at all in the first place, and existing names in violation have been pounced on. It wont accept your name due to the SS in it, you are correct.
As for a name change.

Although the data on this can be really vague (don't trust RU websites?), for reference you are advised to see Jentz, Thomas L: Tank Combat in North Africa; Jentz, Doyle: Germany’s Tiger Tanks. Tiger I & II: Combat Tactics. You can run into 2 values there, 50% and 2/3.

WOW. Just...wow. Six months to play a FREE game during which time you never posted once in these forums, and you use your first post to complain how they're not being *charitable* enough to you. You're (possibly) getting a free KV-220. It's not an IS-7, but it's more than they HAVE to give you.
Personally I'd be just fine with it if they ended it tomorrow simply to annoy people with entitlement complexes as big as yours evidently is.

Overlord: First of, nothing is permanent. We prefer to adjust vehicles ("buff" or "nerf") modifying such secondary parameters as dispersion while movement and traverse, visibility while movement and still etc. In the aggregate that gives a substantial impact on vehicle's performance.

Apart from 128mm gun, 8.8 L56, 8.8 L71, 10.5 L52, 10.5 L68 either got buffed or got the highest penetration values according to stat data at our disposal.

Overlord: This is incorrect. There were no group buff and tweaks, each gun for each faction was balanced and adjusted individually.
German penetration system requirements: 90deg, 100m, guaranteed penetration, 50% of shell splinters behind the test target.
According to the data we have got (both German and Soviet sources) the coefficient is about 1.13-1.17, ie if in German penetration system a gun has 113mm penetration, accoring to the Soviet one it'd be 100m.

Overlord: To the first part - mediums are supposed to engage heavies of the same tier or one tier below moslty.
To the second part - never say never, although tier 11 is not planned we have some ideas how to diversify the existing trees.
