Ectar:   you have to pay money to subscribe to any Twitch channel. Some channels cost more than others

I don't think that's a conincidence. I bet a lot of people who don't even play WoT still watch QB. He tells people about the tanks he plays and mentions their general strenghts and weaknesses and what he is trying to do. QB is also pretty hilarious when he starts to tilt :).   Also, a lot of people watch several streams at once and just basically channel surf between them. I know I watch both Circon/Foch and QB when they are on.

Ectar:   Comparing viewer numbers is a pointless thing to bring up. Quickybaby has been streaming for over 2 years now, when he started out he was averaging around 200-300 viewers and I can remember specifically playing with him for 12 hours at the time British tanks were released and the peak then was 550 viewers. He was the first World of Tanks streamer to get a partnership and now loads more World of Tanks streamers also have partnerships. They guy puts the time into what he does and makes it work.   Circonflexes now regularly breaks over 1000 viewers, SirFoch is getting close to 1000 when he streams during the day,  Orzanel & RitaGamer, are getting steady numbers which are growing too.  There is more people streaming the game than ever before and English speaking streamers have overtaken Russian speaking players in popularity now.   The key to building an audience is to stream regularly and for viewers to have a reason to stick around. It's not as easy as some players think it is, and when people do it full time they can put a lot more effort into presenting and sticking true to their casting times.

Ectar:   That's the question that was asked at the start of this thread so can everyone who wants to share an opinion please take note of what is said below: . .. ... .... .....   If you don't like XXX streamer for whatever reason then good for you, awesome, watch someone else then. That's not what this thread was about however so please keep the petty "XXX streamer is better than XXX streamer" or "I don't like XXX streamer because XYZ"  thoughts to yourself. - It would be nice for once to see players talk about the benefit that ALL streamers have on the community for both veteran and new players, without it descending into stuff like the above.
