ARGO: Most people who went from the original IS tank seemed to like it.
Looked good, good speed, and good firepower but something was
missing......Armor. Most say they missed their KV3 because of this
but then they get an IS3 and get thier first taste of a real good
heavy tank. Pretty well rounded as heavies go, The IS3 really
doesn't get much praise and most are dead set on going to the IS4
so I have some questions for serious debate.
Is there any reason to graduate up from IS3?
What are the pros and cons in doing so?
What noticable performance differences can one expect?
And most of all, once in an IS4 should one even bother to shoot for an IS7?

ARGO: There is only one way to find out what tank is best. You need to
see what your fighting style is and then ask around to see what
tank line fits your individual style. What works for some may suck
for others. Hell you may even like SPG or TDs better so make sure
you taste a little of everything on the menu before you decide to
order or you may end up with a stomach ache...

MrVic: Played the Tiger now many times through many wipes. Right now I
enjoy my Tiger tho sometimes I get outclassed in matches.
But overall Its has no one great strength what it does have is a good balance in all areas really.
Decent speed
Good traverse speed
Good weapon setups
Decent armor and hit points
Accuracy on the move is very nice.
Overall it stands a chance against almost any threat around its tier.
Its the king of well rounded.
Module damage now is inline with the number of hits I take.
Like most tanks they vary and what works and what doesn't coming up with new styles per each tank is really what slowly working through research helps you learn.
I do prefer the long 7.5cm usually over the 88mm just personal style, numerous precision hits on enemies
I do have bad nights of luck and I make bad choices but overall I net good cash and have a good time

"Bubbs you are sooo dead" "I'm gonna kill you personally" etc. This is despite I only made myself known to him last game because I told him he was out of line, not because I actually got him killed.
The result of this entire ordeal was, of course, him rushing forward just to reach me and my teammate who also happened to be in FatBastards team in the previous game. He did manage to bring along another VK45 and an IS3, but because they were cut off and outnumbered by base defenders they were promptly defeated which probably led to his team losing seeing as how three of their heaviest tanks died prematurely. I did damage him, although I didn't get the kill. Can't say I didn't enjoy it
FatBastard is probably and fortunately more of an exception than a rule, but his case goes to show you shouldn't invest too much expectations and bad feelings into this game!

ARGO: Ah yes, I have seen this too. Another severe case of P.U.T.T.S.
"Premature Upper Tank Tier Syndrome" a disease caused by player's
tank statistics outweighing his skills with it. Sad really.

Have you ever been in a battle and you get killed so you automaticaly check out who shot you? We will give this guy a fake name for this discussion "Mr.Death". So your now sitting there all mad at yourself for getting caught and killed. Then you start another battle and well looky there, old Mr.Death is again on the opposing team! You think to yourself "There's the jerk who got me last time, Maybe this time I will frag his arse". You go out and you begin your battle things proceed and BOOM!!! your dead again and guess who got you...That's right, Mr.Death again. Now your really P-off and you vow next time your gonna kick Mr.Deaths butt all over WoT and back so you start another battle and guess what, Mr.Death is there but this time he's sitting next to you on your team! Now what are you going to do?
Here's the rub...
The battle starts and you proceed like a bunch of lemmings on your way to battle and guess what, before you know it you have found yourself outnumbered and alone and now begins your own private session of "tank rape" but as you are fighting your behind off, a team mate comes in there and with the precision of a surgeon he begins pounding the hell out of your enemies and assisting you out of your rut. You go to thank the guy and you find it's none other than Mr.Death....Your team wins and Mr.Death gives you the GG. Mr.Death seems like a good guy now and a hell of a fighter doesn't he? Maybe you should invite him into your platoon next time, maybe he can teach you some moves.
Makes you think doesn't it because you thought this guy was targeting you personaly. Ever had a similar situation happen? God knows I have. This story is to remind one that in this game to not take it all that seriously because for example when I play, I do not care who's on my team or what clan they are in, I am going to watch their back and do my best to help them win or die trying because we are a team regardless of clans, platoons, or personal issues.
So remember this when your out there: Work smarter not harder, Your part of a team and if you work together you win together regardless of the outcome but if you don't you die alone.......

MrVic: I have sold a few tanks with crews ect or the wrong tank, late
night not paying attention ect. It sucks but its just beta, it will
all get wiped in the long run. Best time to make mistakes is now
hehe. As for now the Dev staff probably have their hands full and
tracking something down like this is probably not going to happen
since were in beta. Sorry

MrVic: From what I have seen on HE its working fine. Also the module
damage was adjusted during the last patch and the tiger seems fine
to me. (actually drive it quite often right now)

2. if you get a lot of module damage - yes, but it's heavy so decide what is more important for you

ARGO: Honestly sir, If you are this adament about attacking the issues
regarding the past warcrimes than I strongly suggest you begin
attacking the snake by the head and not the tail. Address the
forums of those who believe there was no holocaust, or that no men
landed on the moon, or that christians, black, jews, ect. should be
eliminated. You are worried about people not believing in what took
place in the worlds past. But I rebutt that the mear fact that the
"Alternative history" thread proves most unequivicaly that it's
creators fully admit that those things happened or there wouldn't
be a thread made to address it at all. Now again I think your a

remember a few things:
1. I can all but 99.99% guarentee that none of the people on this forum or reading it was or is involved with the promotion of wars crimes or the re-writing of history.
2. The fact this game exists proves that the wars DID in fact happen hence so did it's dark history.
3. You cannot change the past, only learn from it and try to move on.
4. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

ARGO: Ever been challenged to a fist fight?
Ever see in the movies where to men have a disagreement and one say's to the other "Would you care to take this outside"?
Well it seems as of late there have been a few bad apples in game who tend to enjoy blowing up team mates or having private little clan wars during a standard match. Either way or for whatever reason, I suggest that you take it outside into a training room match and settle it there because honestly my guess is that the rest of the team your on really doesn't give a damn about your problem and would rather play the game as intended and get their exp. and creds.
Seriously, if your that mad at someone or your having a "clan issue", don't you think it would smarter and cheaper to challenge the person your mad at to a training room match and settle it there rather than dragging the rest of your team mates through the virtual gutter and embarrassing yourself as well as making even MORE enemies? I am starting to see a lot of virtual vigilantes out there who are attacking these team killers and I am sure WoT is getting pics and stories. So why would you want to put yourself and or your friends through a possible ban or worse just because you do not like what another team mate did or said in a match or in a past match?
In short, think about this:
Please, Do yourself and the rest of us who came to play a favor and take it outside......
Ever see in the movies where to men have a disagreement and one say's to the other "Would you care to take this outside"?
Well it seems as of late there have been a few bad apples in game who tend to enjoy blowing up team mates or having private little clan wars during a standard match. Either way or for whatever reason, I suggest that you take it outside into a training room match and settle it there because honestly my guess is that the rest of the team your on really doesn't give a damn about your problem and would rather play the game as intended and get their exp. and creds.
Seriously, if your that mad at someone or your having a "clan issue", don't you think it would smarter and cheaper to challenge the person your mad at to a training room match and settle it there rather than dragging the rest of your team mates through the virtual gutter and embarrassing yourself as well as making even MORE enemies? I am starting to see a lot of virtual vigilantes out there who are attacking these team killers and I am sure WoT is getting pics and stories. So why would you want to put yourself and or your friends through a possible ban or worse just because you do not like what another team mate did or said in a match or in a past match?
In short, think about this:
Please, Do yourself and the rest of us who came to play a favor and take it outside......

ARGO: In my last post here "with a link listed on page one" I had
addressed the idea of a translator built into chat for those who
truly cannot speak english however I noticed some players say that
they use thier native language in chat for giving orders to
friends. There are many free programs out there like GSC and Team
speak so I do not see any real reason for this. I do want to stress
that I feel everyone has the right to play the game in peace and
this problem should be addressed by the Devs before this game goes
world wide because I as a player enjoy playing with all of you
around the world and have made a few good friends here and I
believe having a language barrier truly degrades the full enjoyment
of the game for all of us. Think about it for a moment, Your trying
to warn a player on your team he's about to walk into an ambush and
he doesn't understand you. That not only sucks for him but now the
whole team may fail due to his loss.
So in short it's all about comfort levels here. The cure is a translator or a way to shunt a single players chat you cannot understand so you do not feel spammed. At the least it would improve the game.
And as far as those players who would rather and knowingly not communicate in a language we all can all relate with except to flame, I say if they want to be ignorant let the hero do his own thing and get tank raped all alone.

ARGO: If I am correct, when this game really gets rolling you would be

ARGO: Yes, it can be done and done well if you do but one thing....Keep
your VK3601 to feed the other tanks you have. Use it to farm EXP
after it is elited for the other tanks as well as using it for the
serious creds you will also need. When creds get tight with the
ammo and repairs on your kitty, then simply switch back to your VK
and bring home the bacon.

ARGO: Before I even begin this discussion I want to thank all my fellow
arty jockeys out there for bailing me and my tanks out of some bad
situations. This is not I repeat NOT a flame on arty thread but a
indepth discussion about gamplay.
Arty plays a great role on the battlefield and used to it's potential is a BIG factor in the difference between a win and a epic fail. But since the last wipe, many complaints have arisen regarding the number of arty units per battle, per side. It seems that there can be as many as 5 units I have seen on each side and from what I know the biggest complaint is tanks litarally being cut to ribbons before they can go five feet by "arty rain" Now as for myself, I have been witnessed to the arty rain and I will admit that it sucks bad. I have even heard arty complain about not getting any kills because of to much arty competition so I pose these questions to you all:
Do you think Arty is now the deciding factor on the battlefield?
Do you think Arty numbers per side should be lessend to give other units a chance "including other arty" for kills?
Do you think Artys shells should be nerfed?
