ARGO: Here is the scenario:
Your in your heavy, the clocks runs out and the battle begins. You notice with the exception of your self and a small meduim tank that you him and 3 artys are all thats left at the base. Now you have to defend because you do not want to leave the arty. Now like clockwork 3 scouts scream into the base and beeline directly for the arty who are now scrambling around trying to survive while the little mediums doing his best to chase them and fend off the other 2 scouts shooting at him. This is where you are now, lumbering around after the scouts and watching the arty die while they a desperately signaling the team to return and help.
Now the enemy heavies come shortly after, the medium is dead, the arties are dead, and your at 75% from the enemy arty hitting you. Now begings the base cap as you are slowling taken apart by arty and heavies. About now you notice that a good percentage of your team was watching the attack "not moving in any direction" but for some reason didn't jump in to help until AFTER you get mauled. by that time the enemy is in good numbers and they too are easily taken apart and forcing the remaining tanks to sadly attempt to run across the field to cap, only problem now is that unlike your team, they DID leave a good defence up for thier base and by the time your team barely crawls past them, the other big tanks that mauled you and the medium are now there finishing off whats left of the team. You loose.
How many times? How many times have you seen this? Were you ever in that position? Sucks don't it.
I have seen this unfold countless times and I really think that even without any planning, teams should always remember to protect their arty and kill that 1st wave of scouts before trodding off to glory. Also, when you see a team mate outnumbered "even if your a light tank with a pee shooter" jump in and help him. You may be the one thing that holds his attention long enough for one of your big brothers to get there and make a difference in the battles outcome.
Remember when your out there, A good offence starts with a great defence

Overlord:
1) Most of the features are ready for QA testing or already in testing. They are US tanks, 2 new maps, fixed teleoprting. Part of the content is still in development - clan mode functional, 2 more maps (one of them is Desert, an African map by the way), match-making system adjustment.
2) In 7 - X days, we are not sure at the moment. Status: open Ru testing on special server.
3) The order of adding new vehicles is as follows

- US tanks, package of 25 vehicles, without TDs
- top tier Soviet and German TDs, MTs, SPGs from full release trees
- some middle tier "linking" vehicles
- US TDs
- French tanks
- additional tank branches like E-series or T-60-70-80

MrVic: Something like this could be really rough for finding players on the same rotation and then trying to make even teams. Tho the idea is not bad it might be really hard to implement.
Tho with the good amounts of maps planned to add and the rate we should see more added soon, this could help the situation :)
I know what you mean I played way back when, when there was only 3 maps....

MrVic: This has been discussed before but, All tanks tier 9-10 are intended to be harder to make a profit with. Its to keep some variance in games so in the long haul every match is not 15 IS-7's per side ect. Also playing lower tiers or rotating tanks pretty much offsets the costs. Tho ammo might be something I would like to see come down some in cost. myself for some tiers. So real money is not needed but can be used to offset costs.
I love the tier 4-6 fights the most anyways :)

merig00: There will be a hard wipe before the release and you will lose whatever you had. You'll start from the level 1. But all beta testers will get something from devs... gold or tank or both... i don't know the details yet.

MrVic: Usually a gun researched in one tank tree, is use able in other trees, Heavy Medium ect. TD's frequently used modified versions of weapons and are a separate research item

Notice!  Semi-finals and Finals regulations

1. Winners of semifinals and finals are determined in at least 2 matches. If the first match ends in a draw, the game continues until one of the teams wins the match. If the team wins the first match, a draw in the second one will give victory to this team. If after the first 2 matches both teams have equal number of wins (1 each), the game continues until one of the teams wins the match.

Overlord: To captains of all the teams that participate in 1st Championship WOT CBT,

Wargaming.net would like to know what country/countries each team represents. We need this statistics in order to make some improvements to our web-resources related to tournament organization.

We don't require a complete breakdown of teams, but if you don't mind revealing all the places of residence, you can do it as well.

Use this as a pattern:

Team 0. Wargaming.NET Online.
Countries: Belarus - 12 players, Russia - 4 players, other - 4 players.

merig00: - you can get your camera turn down or turn up constantly after going to/from sniper mode and even sometimes out of blue. This is because of a non-ideal workaround of GetCursorPos() issues. Just go to sniper mode and back (or from sniper mode and back) and it'll be gone

ARGO: I have got a few accidental TKs and I truly feel bad each and everytime I commit one but all of mine were cases of someone running infront of my shot "I snipe" and that just cannot be helped. I absolutely loath players who TK and I have no respect for anyone that doesn't respect others rights to play. I too have been TKed accidentaly and the other guy usually writes "sorry" anything is better than nothing and I am a very forgiving player as long as the other guy either chats, or PMs me. I agree with reporting TKer who do it for fun or revenge and I also don't mind it when one of these Einsteins TKs a little tank is seen by one of those virtual vigilanties and then "accidently" ends up mysteriously tracked in the middle of arty country.
Here are two good soulutions that may end accidental TKs:
1. Remove the lock on feature on friendly tanks "when your aiming the target will not only does your reticle grab an enemy tank but also a friendly or even a dead tank" This needs to go.
2. If your going to fire on a friendly one of the crew says "Are you sure you wanna shoot an allie?" and stops you so you have to press the fire button twice to override the crew warning.
I think not only will this stop an accidental TK but will also insure if you do get TKed than the person DID do it on purpose.

Yea I saw that too and it's great that it's being fixed.

Multi-core support depends mostly on BigWorld developers, since we don't have full source code of the game engine. We are working with them on that. As soon as there is progress, we will gladly inform all the players.
