Yes tanks are very robust but tanks guns are also very powerful, powerful enough to kill other tanks in one shot.
Thats not much fun, its already frustrating abit when you are in a small tank and get one shotted by a larger tank. It would be a lot worse when equal tanks are also oneshotting you.
Having hit boxes sounds fun, so you can be damaged one one side but not the other.
But wot is a MMO that has all the coding done server side to prevent hacks and cheats.
So there needs to be a balance between realism, and game play, and fun.. While keeping it viable for the servers too.

in 1952. The end result and was approved in 1959 and classifeid as
the M60 MBT. First production run M60 was 1959-1960, First one
deployed was in 1960. Personally I think it pushes us well beyond
the time frame. Maybe down the road but for now I think its to far
out myself. Also the M103 has lots of leg room overall and should
fulfill the tier 10 role quite well overall.

Dont forget this is a MMO clan game, or will be. With platoons, companies and clan wars. Its not all about 15v15 random battles.
You might need to search for something like "dead backseat drivers" or something like that : )

Imagine the complaining if there was a lot of afkers as well.
One team could have 3 AFkers, and another have 6. That's a pretty messed up team balance.

I would guess they dont have 24/7 support like wargaming.net does, might not have afk rules like we do, dont have auto detection hunting for tkers and bots for support to ban. etc..
As for the Russian server, its doing ok. 35,000 players online max last time I checked. 725k registered users on their forums.. Its clocking in decent numbers.
And then there is our server, which currently holds USA and Europe players.
There will be a server split soon, splitting into two servers capable of handling 60k users each. One for EURO and one for USA.
As for the T30, there was one tank alive on the enemy side, the game was won by capping. That is the tank people said was a T30, not the tank that got 14 kills..
Also on a new server there is a lot of newbies who cant play very well, 14 kill games were happening earlier in beta here too.

Several platoons, and they do a count down 3,2,1 BATTLE, to try and get in the same game.
Some screen-shots or a fraps vid sent to support will fix it..
If nothing was recorded this time, someone will record it eventually.
The ban times are long, so.. I dont think its much of a problem, because it wont continue for long..

So their infrastructure isn't the same as here I would guess. IE no 24/7 support staff/team. Running through reports from auto Tk and Auto macro detectors. Perma banning people who macro.

I do appreciate that is was filed as a BUG in the terrain, like its meant to be and not just a personal attack or whine.
But im sure if you both take a step back and look at it, you will agree that its gotten way too out of hand over a small issue.
I have gone over the chat logs, reports, and issues with support.
And its been deemed that the chat logs were not suitable, from both players.
I do appreciate that it looks from your angle that people were shooting through rocks, and a slope, leading you to think something fishy was happening.
However, there is holes in that rock that can be shot through. And different tanks have different view angles. You were in a tank with a turret and he was in a slimline low profile TD for starters.
My interpretation of what Ive been able to look into, is that. You could have been shot by other tanks through the cracks in the rock, or over the rock. From tanks you could see, and tanks that were hidden. Having the commander's cupola sticking up into shooting range, while you cant see the low profile TD from your viewpoint, sounds like a reasonable situation to me..
There was then, no need for the accusations and conflict to start in the first place.
Consider this topic, and any reports on this incident closed.
Move on, and have fun in the game..

Overlord: Depends on where you got your beta key from. Some premium tanks
(according to special ad campaigns) will "survive" hard wipe and

MrVic: Currently since the tree is not filled in, the M7 leads to the Easy
8, the full release tree the M7 parallel moves to the M4 then down.

ARGO: Yes I agree and also said it lacks firepower However it is a money
maker and thats what I wanted to put across. It is a great little
money maker due to it's cheap repairs and ammo. I also said it
won't win any wars either BUT it is a good grinding tank that at
least can get out of it's own way and maneuver around very well.
Could it use a bigger gun? Yes, I think so But you cannot deny it's
pretty much as advertised in my earlier post.
BTW Compared to my VK3601H pound for pound, I am making more $$$ and exp in the Sherman E8 and that is due to it's inexpensive repair costs.

Overlord: As you know from previous announcements the server split into
separate USA and Europe servers was preliminary scheduled for 20-24
December. It's an important event and milestone for us and we have
been progressing towards this step well.
The following changes are coming:
1) 2 versions of the game client will be in operation (US and EU)
2) 2 versions of wot official websites and forums (US and EU)
3) 2 new game servers both upgraded to handle a 60,000 players online on each simultaneously (120,000 total).
We have put in place a sophisticated account transfer system, that allows you to check the pings to each server and select which server you wish to transfer to.
And we have recruited many new moderators from lots of different counties and languages to handle the workload for the separate Europe and NA game servers and forums.
However, some things have been out of our direct control, that are unfortunately going to cause us some delays in putting the new servers online.
The new servers simply have not arrived yet, as expected.
We of course are trying to rectify this problem, and get the new servers there and online as soon as possible.
We apologize for this delay, especially over the time of Xmas, because we know how much a lot of you were looking forward to the euro servers going back online for Xmas.
This topic will be updated you as soon as possible with any more information, and a new projected date.
Note: update schedule remains the same regardless of the above delay.

ARGO: I went through what you are now going through.....There is only one
thing I could do with that tank....Scout. All it's really good for
is scouting and running....Occaisionally chasing down and killing
leopards. BTW the PzIII is a bit better but mor if the same. You
will start getting the good stuff at PzIV and up.
Bear with it man, We all where there...Oh be happy it could be worse, You could be trying to survive through the 1st KV tank! JK.
