considering the tier 9/10 players are here to stay, why not have
more for the little guys. I think they should have done this in 4
distinct classes using the same setup as company battles. That way
there is a spot for everyone to enjoy this instead of just the
veteran players.

one is tier 6.

issue.
And you are correct, as of now, there will be no fog of war for the Classic.

1 I think 18 is a good number. You can adjust up or down based on
feedback thoughout the competition. I believe most 90 pts teams
have 10-11 tanks, so that's 7/8 reserves which is a good
amount.
Also remember that most of the better teams will also have CW's, it would be nice to have a larger pool of reserves so teams can choose where their best players are needed on any given Saturday.
The gold payouts are based on season ending ranks correct? So there will be additional gold payouts based on playoffs I assume? You can always lower gold payouts for season ending standings, and offer better payouts for an elimination style playoff based on seeding.

lord_farquad: What's posted includes both playoff and ending prizes. The 1st
through 8th prizes are playoff standings, so only the winner of the
playoffs will receive the 1st place prize.
Currently every team that makes it to the playoffs gets 800 gold per member.

As you've already suggested most matches will have about 9-10 players so a team cap of 15 allows for 5 reserves - which is 50% of the match participants.
If you increase it to 18 almost 1/2 the team will not get to play in each battle, which seems like over-kill to me - especially since it's going to run on a weekend during prime playing time.
I also have a question in regard to the schedule and rules.
It says that each team will play each other in it's division, for a total of up to 15 matches, but does that mean that there is only 1 battle per team per Saturday for 15 weeks straight?
Or will there be multiple 15min battles against either the same team each or against different teams each day?
