dance210: Alright guys, a little PSA regarding disputes. When
submitting disputes, we have very specific rules. Failure to follow
those rules can, and will, result in the dispute being dropped.
There is a reason we ask for certain things - some of it is to make
our life easier, some of it is to verify that the dispute is
legitimate. As a reminder of the dispute rules: Disputes A
dispute is a claim against an illegitimate result by an opponent’s
violation of a written Skirmish rule. Disputes must adhere
to the protocol detailed below or risk having the dispute dropped
by tournament administration. Disputes must be submitted
immediately after the round has concluded. Disputes must be emailed
to tournaments@wargamingamerica.com The email subject/title
must include the word “Dispute:” followed by the name of the event
for which you are filing a dispute. Disputes may only be filed by
the team captain or any team member listed under team’s contact
details. Disputes must include the following in the body of
the email or risk having the dispute dropped by tournament
administration: In-game name of the player submitting the dispute
Name of the Skirmish Your team’s name with a link to your team’s
page created for you during registration Your opponent’s team name
and a link to your opponent’s team page created during registration
Reason for dispute: e.g. “I would like to report the team for using
a tank that was not allowed, the StuG III.” An attached replay of
the disputed battle(s) Why am I mentioning this now?
Because last night, we had several disputes that did not give
enough information and were dropped. Missing information
will often include: Not including the opponent team name Not
including your team name AND the opponent team name (e.g. only sent
in a replay/screenshot) Sending in screenshots that do not show all
information Screenshot may not show player names - we cannot
confirm the opponent team (yes, I have had people say the dispute
is for Team X when in fact it is Team Y that broke the rules)
Screenshot doesn't show the tanks/tank names - if you're sending in
a dispute for an illegal lineup and all I can see is the player
name and maybe the tank icon, that's not enough information. Rare
case of the screenshot not showing the player names OR the tank
names, due to mods hiding all the information Sending in the replay
for a different battle (usually a random battle) Obviously,
some of these are worse than others. Please, please, include ALL
the information so that there are no issues. Thanks guys!

double rewards for completing this mission twice =)
I also got this good question from a player which I will
post and answer here - Q- "I was wondering, for the
tokens that players can purchase through the gift shop. If I
purchase a token for say the Nation Germany and then I still
complete the dmg and kills need to complete the mission, for Nation
Germany, do I get the value in gold or is the token wasted and I
receive nothing?" A - If you buy a token and end up
completing it anyways, you will end up with 2 token for that
nation. The leftover token will turn into 2,500 gold! So it is a
win either way!

that. The only way I can foresee the community voting
on something in the future is if we run another design a
T-shirt contest with J!nx and we want the players to vote. We still
wouldn't base that off of forum rep either and hopefully have a
nice system set in place.

pizzastorm: Hey Tankers, So we ran into an issue in regards to
purchasing WZ-111 token from the gift shop. When you
purchase a token for a certain nation, it will NOT reflect
that purchase in game. The only way it will show up is
if ALL the tokens have been acquired for ALL
nations. An example - If you buy 6 out of
the 7 tokens, the client will not reflect this until the last token
is earned/bought. This can be an issue for players
purchasing tokens since you may not remember which nation you
bought a token for. If this happens, please check your e-mail since
you should receive a confirmation telling you which nation token
was purchased. You may also contact our support team to find out
this information. If anyone needs further
clarification, please let us know. EDIT - Tokens will
convert to gold at the end of the event. EDIT 2 -
Buying the tokens from the gift shop will NOT award you with the
three days of premium. If you buy a token, you can still finish the
mission in game for the three days of premium and another token. If
you have two tokens for a nation, one will be converted to gold at
the end of the event.

despite the larger calibre.

actually found turret blueprints for a few months ago, including a
planned 1945 turret which it appears was never built. Blueprints
include thickness cross-sections, so I would expect the Jumbo armor
values to change at some point.

internal voting using staff. Sorry if that was not
clear. We try to stay away from community votes due to
the fact that it can be unfair in certain situations.

objective on the field is to do damage. Do damage, kills and wins
follow. Sure, lights aren't necessarily supposed to do damage.
Looking at these issues raises the question, do the mission
criteria foster numbers on the field? I say yes, and no. It keeps
numbers because people want the reward, but I firmly believe that
people get fed up when they end up on a bad streak and hang up the
phone for a time (hours, days?). I can console myself when I lose
as long as I did damage. I find it harder to console myself when
I'm working a mission, doing damage, but end up on a losing streak
and cannot fulfill mission criteria on a timely basis. I also get
bummed when I realize that WG wants me to play 25 out of 30 days in
a month to get the reward. WG, we know the mid-30s working male is
your target audience. That's me (maybe a LITTLE older...). I meet
the target audience criteria so well sometimes I think I was
hatched in a WG lab. There are days when I can spend copious
amounts of time playing and days when I can't. And we all have days
where we wreck shop and days when our shop gets wrecked. Fine, we
can deal with that. WG's real objective should be to keep it's
target audience clicking, and causing undue frustration isn't a
real good way of doing that. Despite what the tin-foil-hat crowd
says (and I don't discount ALL of it), I think WG provides a
relatively balanced working game that is eminently enjoyable. As a
player, I have to deal with times of less-than-favorable MM, rape
trains, the lemming horde, and the frowning disapproval of
RNGeezus. I can deal with that. What adds insult to injury is when
those things happen (during your limited game playing day) AND you
fail to meet mission criteria because you killed not and won not.
Solution: Gimme what I want! Please, please, please remove
the kill/win/days element from missions. Damage and XP are
sufficient. Look at it like this, if you aren't doing damage or
gaining XP you aren't playing. No more kill stealing (yeah, I love
a 3k damage game with 0 kills). If kills aren't a parameter, who
cares? Take the kill for all I care. And, dammit, sometimes I can't
spread my play over 25 days in a month. I think I've been around
long enough (and God knows payed enough) to know what makes me
play, and to assume that there are enough people just like me
playing the game that catering to me equals catering to at least a
large portion of the masses. Now, thanks to all you who read
this and make constructive comments. To all those trolls out there,
may you wake up in bed with Richard Gere yelling "Where's my damn
gerbil?!". You know where it is.
