The_Chieftain:   Which skill? The ability to place rounds on specific parts of your enemy? Or the skill involved in being a member of a team which co-ordinates maneuver (Movement relative to the enemy) in order to place overwhelming effective fires on them?   Here's an example. The US Army's marksmanship standards are, compared to many other militaries, relatively low. Go take the top nine civilian marksmen at the National Rifle Championships at Camp Perry. These guys don't miss at a half-mile. Put them on the field against a squad of nine fairly competent US Army soldiers, and see who wins. The difference between winning and losing a team contest isn't purely a matter of how good any individual is at any one task, as the soldiers who are trained to work together and supplement each other will usually be able to defeat the group of nine individuals, unless the individual skill difference is so ridiculously huge that you're looking at a team of Legolases shooting a bunch of orks.   Or, if you want to take a different tack, a good team is one which implements tactics which reduce the effect of Murphy. Any strategy which relies on things going right is not a reliable strategy. As long as randomness is not so bad that a norm cannot be reached over the duration of a match, the ability to withstand the effect of luck's fickle fate can be the true determinor of the great plans executed by good teams.

HBFT:   The highest base experience games will get pulled and compared against the games between the specified interval of time, so the amount of XP that one will need to get into the leaderboard is dependent upon the scores posted during the weekend.  

HBFT:   We wanted to choose tanks that were accessible to everyone, so we specifically targeted mid-tier tanks.  It is our hope that players are close to, or already own, one of these vehicles!

The_Chieftain: On a personal note, I have no problem with a mechanic in a team game which reduces the reliability of skill of any single player. When you have a team of seven, each of whom is firing multiple shots, a team which is really better is is going to have plan and co-ordination which mitigates the effect of a particularly good or poor roll on any shot.   A team of 55% individual win rate players -should- be able to beat a group of 60% individual win-rate players, if the team plays well as a team, and the group of 60%ers do not, despite the increased individual capability of the latter.

veganzombiez:   I've already been bouncing quite a few ideas of Hyp, and we've been looking into previous changes/additions and all the pros and cons.  The Clan Wars Civil War is an awesome idea, and it's definitely something I want to push pretty strongly.   Since I just joined the CW department, I probably won't be hardcore focusing on Clan Wars changes for another week or so.  Sure, I can write down ideas and goals to show Hyp, but we'll need something more substantial to bring to the developers, and those brainstorming sessions are likely going to take some time.  I'm no stranger to writing business plans for investors/executives, which will help get ours, and our players', ideas into a full-on plan.
