be taking the feedback from here when we plan out August, which was
partly the point of this thread

The_Chieftain: I think the really big value of self-driving vehicles is
that it gives back mobility to folks who cannot drive. Be it due to
issues like blindness, or simply folks who are too old to be behind
the wheel, and are in effect confined to their home unless they get
taxis everywhere (or put into a nursing home). When I'm 95 years
old, I'd rather half the self-driving car than no car at all.

having an issue scheduling multiple battles within a round. Which
means that they are not able to schedule 3 wins out of 5 battles
without running into issues. As of now, all playoff battles
will be 1 battle. Team that wins moves on to the next round.
2. Last I heard, this is the updated battle schedule (schedule is
also visible on the tournament page). Round of 32: Friday,
June 24 @ 1800 PT / 2100 ET Round of 16: Friday, June 24 @ 1815 PT
/ 2100 ET As issue number one means that each playoff will
only be a single battle, there should (hopefully, fingers crossed)
be no issues. Battle times for the Quarterfinals, Semifinals and
Finals remain the same. I have updated the tournament page
with this information.

restrictions are not part of our tournament tool; it is something
that we do to make our tournaments different. Which leaves two
options: 1. get rid of special restrictions or 2. have a dispute
process. As submitting a dispute is not that difficult and
players like the special restrictions for our tournaments, we
continue to offer tournaments like that.

Any thoughts on topic? dance210: They were temporarily removed in June because there were issues
that made them frustrating for players, especially waiting for
disputes to be resolved. Rules have been changed slightly and
weekly 1v1 tournaments return on July 2nd.

the spec sheet for T28 dated 12AUG47 states "12 inch mantle
provided" I'm not sure why, but they felt that for the
acceleration tests of T95/T28, it was important to note the wind

start-up (50-75%) of the time, I have to re-run with reset
graphics, and then try safe mode again until it finally loads
properly. Once inside safe mode, I have to play a single battle,
then exit the client. After ALL of this, I can FINALLY launch the
game regularly and play as normal (only to have it happen again the
next day or day after.) Needless to say, this is VERY frustrating!!
It should also be said that I don't run ANY MODS AT ALL, and don't
have battle recording turned on. I have also cleared the necessary
folders, and updated my drivers. So, can I get some help now, or
should I submit a ticket, wait for 4 days, then get a vague,

WOT limbo! I took several days off, just to take a break
from lag/load issues and 'challenging' teams, only to come back to
the same ole....fix the damn problems, WOT, stop wasting time/money
on fluff, like tank soccer and buffs to things that can wait!

help you with the connection issues, if the game still disconnects,
please send a ticket in with the information that the check tool
outputs.

The_Chieftain: I'm not sure I'm getting the hate on Sims, I think I can use her as
a crew trainer for my Gearing skipper. No, it's not the most
dangerous ship in the world, but it seems quite good at being a
nuisance which can take care of itself in a pinch. The guns are
serviceable, the torps are anemic, but they can still cause
flooding and their reload rate isn't bad. One has to be a little
careful about positioning, as detectability range is almost as
large as torp range, but for approaching targets, that's not much
of a problem. Nimbleness isn't a problem. It does 'seem' a bit
weak, but then I usually play Gearing and Tashkent these days,
which would likely make any Tier VII DD look weak. I'll try
a few Yubari ones.
