NyxWGA: So we seem to have some misunderstandings or misconceptions here.   Posting another person's stats as a way to "prove" that you are "right" and they are "wrong" is, in fact, naming and shaming. If you post someone stats to show they haven't played, and you have, thus making you more knowledgeable, that's naming and shaming. If you post someone's stats to "compare" theirs to yours to say that your stats are better and you are therefore "right," that's naming and shaming. Any instance where you are posting someone else's stats to prove your point and disprove theirs, is naming and shaming.   There also seems to be a misconception about staffing. I've seen people mention skeleton crew, and WoWS missing a mod for "2 days." Both of these are actually not true at all. We've staffed up recently. Yesterday we had 32 Customer Support Representatives answering tickets, and 1,316 tickets were answered. Easy tickets like tank restorations where everything is in order are handled in a matter of hours. Tickets that require a more specialized person to handle, like billing or tech support tickets, are still usually answered in less than 24 hours.   We also have moderators staffed 24/7 on all products. Some shifts only have one person, other shifts have two, but there is additionally a backup plan even if there is only one. Unfortunately on Sunday, we did have a gap in coverage, but it was our mistake in scheduling (not having a backup for the backup basically). The forums did not have a moderator from 6am until 11am when I checked my email. It was a matter of 5 hours, not 2 days, and as soon as we realized it was occurring we fixed the situation.   For those folks who are super salty, I realize that reading this won't change your perceptions, but I did want to set the record straight on these matters. If you have any issues, you can PM me or GhostPrime directly to ask questions. We won't be continuing to discuss moderator decisions publicly.

dance210:   During July, we are trying something a bit different. We are running fewer tournaments, focusing more on each one. That means that yes, at least for now, the Weekend Warriors are on hiatus for the month of July. August hasn't been planned yet, so I can't say when/if they will be returning.

dance210: All active tournaments can be found by searching the Tournaments Home Page  A player has two ways to register for the Stand-To tournaments! When you create the team, make sure that you are using the correct registration!Register as a Team! Registration works the same as normal. Team captain makes a team and recruits players to join. A complete team has 3 - 4 players. Captains do not need to submit their team; all teams with the minimum number of players will be accepted. The team is now ready to fight once the tournament starts! Register as a Solo player or as part of a Party! A party is a group of players that does not meet the minimum team size requirements. Create a team. Teams do not need to be confirmed; all players will be accepted for the Solo/Party Registration. Once registration has closed, the player will be combined with other solo player(s) and/or a party to form a complete team After registration has closed, players are encouraged to check back to find their new team!  So how do you register as a solo player? It's easy! When you create a team, there will be Registration Option with a drop down menu. Simply switch from Register Team to Register Solo and you are ready to go!

The_Chieftain:   I suspect that document does not come from Armored Board, but instead from a representative of the British Commission in the US, reporting on current events. I've seen a few of those. In this case, the M4 turret w/17pr was eventually put onto the M4A3 I reported upon a year or two ago.  

The_Chieftain:   When M26 was being developed and interest was being shown by the British, there was consideration in the design phase to making sure one could mount a 17pr into the Pershing's turret. I'm unaware of any actually ever being mounted, or how far the planning/drawing went.

GhostPrime:   Make sure to uninstall mods (If any). Also make sure that you do not have any devices that may be taking bandwidth away from your PC. make sure your video drivers are up to date, and if that does not work, please send in a ticket to support. 

dance210:   The times listed for each round (e.g. shows time, map and team you will face for each round today) is set to your local computer time / local time zone. The schedule listed at the very top of the page (below the tournament name) should also be set to your local computer time / local time zone.

dance210: You can feel free to send in any disputes or rebuttals to tournaments@wargamingamerica.com and I'll deal with them.   Full disclosure: as this is a special mode within the game, the tournament is actually being scheduled from HQ, not the NA office. So get any disputes in ASAP so I can review them please.   As for the maps...random order maybe? Again, with this coming from HQ I don't know how the maps were decided. You'll definitely want to take a look at the tournament page so you can see the order that you play the maps
