Saffr0n:   I would need to see a replay from his perspective. It looks like he tried to time the shot when you popped out the corner-- This is where latency would become a factor for both of you.     Regardless, if he had destroyed you it wouldn't have altered the outcome. 

GhostPrime: Closing this thread due to non constructive conversation. 

Saffr0n:   no worries. when you run a general speed test you are only pinging the nearest service tower within your vicinity. If you are trying to determine average speed to a specific server, like World of Tanks, running this type of general test will give you an incorrect reading. to get the correct reading you have to run the test using the server's IP   if you run a pingplotter with the two IP's, World of Tanks has an East and West server, we can determine where along the connection pathway the player is having issues from.

GhostPrime:   The forum points have not yet been wiped, so the new policy will begin on the forums when the wipe occurs. In Game it began on the 8th. 

GhostPrime:   This is incorrect. While in the past the ticket times were longer than now, it was never two weeks. As I stated previously, the In Game rule violation policy went int effect on the 8th. There is nothing retroactive happening.    Also, please everyone stay on topic.

Check out the eSports calendar!     A player has two ways to register for the Platournaments! When you create the team, make sure that you are using the correct registration! Register as a Team! Registration works the same as normal. Team captain makes a team and recruits players to join. A complete team has 3 - 4 players. Captains do not need to submit their team; all teams with the minimum number of players will be accepted. The team is now ready to fight once the tournament starts! Register as a Solo player or as part of a Party! A party is a group of players that does not meet the minimum team size requirements. Create a team. Teams do not need to be confirmed; all players will be accepted for the Solo/Party Registration. Once registration has closed, the player will be combined with other solo player(s) and/or a party to form a complete team After registration has closed, players are encouraged to check back to find their new team!   So how do you register as a solo player? It's easy! When you create a team, there will be Registration Option with a drop down menu. Simply switch from Register Team to Register Solo and you are ready to go!

GhostPrime:   We are not going through the reports retroactively. In game the new rules apply from the 8th on. As for the forums we are waiting on the wipe of all forum points before the new rule violation policy begins officially.  Once that happens I will make an announcement to let everyone know.   I have responded to the OP of this thread in a PM, and will discuss that matter through the PM system. As a reminder, if anyone feels they were sanctioned unfairly, please file a ticket through the support system.   

The_Chieftain:   I always thought "Roommate" to be a very American term. In Ireland we'd use "Housemate" or "Flatmate". "Roommate" always struck me as being a little bit closer than a shared structure.   However, the above line is not correct. My guess is that he had not tried contacting the folks who he found on youtube showing off the German battleships to ask them how that worked out for them. Now, I'm not personally massively happy with our internal policies on crime and punishment (I quoted Lord Chief Justice Hewitt to a producer the other day), but I really don't have a problem with our internal policies not including "When sending email notifications of punitive actions carried out, place community contributors (including from other regions) on the CC line." The argument over whether to publicly announce violations and ramifications has been going on for years, with arguments on both sides. At least (from my perspective) his commentary brought the topic back into the limelight for internal discussion. Not whether or not there are repercussions for breaking NDA, because that's not a question, but our general policies against naming/shaming.

Saffr0n:   Did you run a ping test to the nearest server in your area or did you ping the World of Tanks servers? This distinction matters. Can you submit a ticket to our support staff so they can have you run a diagnostic test on your game files?

Saffr0n:     This is related to your ping, which causes the delay. The shell was actually shot before you got into that position, but you see it as it passing through your tank.

dance210:   FACEIT is a third-party platform that uses our Battle API system, similar to how Razer Arena uses it. They asked us to help promote it to the NA players, not to have it replace the WG tournaments.

dance210:   Hi!   I hope you enjoy your first tournament   If you've ever played Clan Wars, it works basically the same as a Clan Wars battle. If you haven't, there are more details below.   About 10 minutes before your battle starts, a Special Battle tab will show up on the chat bar (next to General chat, Clan chat); it should light up and flash.   You will want to click on that. The new window will have the match information - click on that bar to open up another window. In this window, you should see your name with a red box around it, it will be located on the left side of the window. Once you are in that window, select the tank you want to use and click the "ready" button. This will highlight your name in green.   The left side of the window is the inactive side. You (or your team captain) will want to use the arrows to move your name to the right side - that is the active side. As long as you are on the right of the divider and your name is green (and you have the correct number of players and tier points), you will automatically go into battle once the countdown reaches zero.   If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!

GhostPrime:   It's basically an insult that doesn't target a specific group of people. Race, religion, culture, beliefs, etc.

dance210:   For the sake of (possibly redundant) information, you may want to send them a screenshot for each mission (BIA, Steel Wall, High Caliber) similar to the one that you did for the "Get 20 August Tickets" tab. It may not be needed, but it's always better to give too much information (at least, that's my thought).

GhostPrime: You can submit an anonymous ticket if you have trouble creating a new ticket. In the ticket specify what game, your user name, and the ticket number of the older ticket. 

dance210:   Hi eXs11,   If you haven't done so, could you please submit a Support ticket with the following information: Details of what happened Screenshot showing the afterbattle report where you earned the missions Screenshot showing the mission for each of the Heavy Medal's that you completed   Once our Support staff gets that, they should be able to figure out what's going on.
