cruisers one encounters, and the torps could do nasty things.
Unfortunately, it didn't really work out that way for me. I'm going
to have a crack at Indianapolis next. I'll need to stay clear of
the BBs, but everything else should work. Nelson was nice in
theory, deleting ships I could get to. But too slow to get from B
to A. Had another Midway game, I had better get used to running out
of aircraft.

Have some info on the latest HD map updates for you. Soon the Super Test server will be receiving updated versions of Steppes, Ruinberg, and Fisherman's Bay to test some of the changes to the maps. As some of you know, part of the HD map updates for the old maps involve some significant changes to their layouts to improve and innovate the gameplay on them. We want to take the opportunity to improve the maps as we upgrade them to HD quality.
Steppes:
This isn't the first time we have tested Steppes, but we now have an updated version incorporating lots of improvements from feedback from the previous round of testing. We've made changes that will improve the balance of the map, give some more opportunities for early long-range snapshots, adding some more opportunities to play from camouflage/concealment, and improve the East flank to make it more playable for both sides.
Ruinberg: First look at the updated version - some significant balance changes have been made alongside the updated visuals. Currently the team from the Northern base has some slight advantages and wins a bit more often, we are making some changes including adding a new playable position from the Southern side in G1 so they can be slightly more secure in their efforts to withstand opponents. This position will offer some nice shot opportunities into F2 and F3.
Fisherman's Bay:
Another first look, we are looking to improve the gameplay of the central part of the map and make the Western side more suitable for both teams. New intermediate cover in contestable position and some cleaned up sight lines will create more opportunities to support fights occurring in the middle.
Please note that these are far from finished products and will likely be updated again before seeing the live server. In addition, I have received feedback from several of you that these newer videos aren't offering a great look at the layout changes - I have submitted that feedback to the team.

The_Chieftain: ITCH Scriptwriting has hit a snag. Turns out Bovington's Ram was a
target tank, which is why the mantlet, ports, etc are all welded
over. There may not be anything inside to cover. Chances are I'll
have to move onto something else instead and maybe do the one in
Ottawa, if the restoration is complete. But I have finished the
scripts for the Archer and Black Prince already requested.

Quemapueblos: Tankers, As you may be aware, we are testing a new server
that is based in Brazil. It offers very low ping to players in
Latin America, but it will not be optimal to play here from North
America. If in doubt please check your login settings when you
launch World of Tanks, and make sure you select the appropriate
server for your country!
The Auto
setting should detect your best ping and in most cases it
will pick the best server for you but if you are having latency
issues please check which server you are connected to.

So, if you had a qualifying day that met the requirements of
what was stated on the portal for Day 19, we gave a marathon
point towards completion. We ran into some snags with our original
plan so we ended up crediting players that were on the cusp of
completing the T34B or IS-6 B marathon (14 tokens) and would have
with the additional point added. If a player showed up in the
payout list with the condition I just mentioned, then they were
given the T34B or IS-6B or their compensation value in credits (if
the vehicle is already owned). Hope this helps.

. Only one was ever built, in Aberdeen. No longer in existence.
Many moons ago, a 3D model for an in-game T88 was created,
it was to become a TD. Search way, way back in the archives (like
four years). I pushed back a fair bit, for it to become an SPG
(Like wot the real vehicle was). It vanished, never to be seen
again. The real T88 is currently located in Ft Lee, VA. As
for the M36B1, we are well aware of it. We're kindof keeping it off
to one side, just in case we ever decide to go with the
long-forgotten idea of hull upgrades. We have a number of other US
TDs we can choose from as a premium (Hey, I literally wrote the
book on them, few are unknown to us!), it's just a matter of
waiting until the vehicle teams decide now's a good time for it.

The_Chieftain: I've been chewing on this for a while, and in 1957, I have to say,
I honestly can't think of any precedent. Ground idlers were nothing
new, look at the Stuart, for example, but they were adjustable.
About the only non-adjustable tracks of any sort I can think
of are those running strange suspension systems, such as Strv-103
or MBT-70, where the suspension makes any 'set' tension pointless.
I mean, in theory, I guess they could stretch the tracks
enough with track jacks that the suspension itself is permanently
causing the tension, which I presume was the plan with T92. I can't
think of any other way of ensuring that the tracks stay on for any
reasonable amount of time. Presumably also, there were enough flaws
with the practice that they added the comp-idler in the end anyway.
As for why it was removed on the survivor... well, I have
absolutely no idea.

The best example at this point would be the ANZAC server that the Asia now has. Technically, the server being tested is a "shard" of the Asia server, meaning that players belong to the Asia server and remain in Asia's databases but are able to play on a more local source during peak hours.
As far as the NA population, while it is not large as it once was it is still not small - NA isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

CabbageMechanic: Apparently the management system populated a second stage at the
exact same time that was A/D, naturally that one popped on top.
At 6:30 I received a screenshot from tedster showing the
mode was wrong, at 6:31 while the match was underway I made the
decision to scrap and remake. Messaging went out to both teams as
fast as I was able to while rebuilding the stage for 6:45 and
confirmed during the countdown that it populated correctly that
time. Screenshot I sent him at the time of the stage
settings in disbelief:

The_Chieftain: I'm beginning to suspect he didn't as much as do a bunch of
archive digging as he did simply photograph what he could find in
the Icks collection at Knox. If it was there, great, if not, he
didn't know it was missing. In fairness, I'm about the same level.
My main regret is that Can Openers does not cover that American
"Marder" type SP anti-tank gun from the early 1930s. I just never
came across any documents about it. And, in fairness, if it wasn't
for Hunnicutt, I wouldn't know about it.
