Well it may indeed be that way, I’m not sure why you are so hell bent on insisting that a somewhat vague statement could only be interpreted your way.  100% crews cost real money so it is absolutely reasonable that WG would indeed convert them to crew books.  Now that doesn’t mean they will but they very well might, and frankly it would be a really smart idea to do it so they don’t piss off people who pay money to them and buy 100% crews. I also doubt they bothered to code in a means of telling which 100% crews were bought, rented, or earned so there is a good chance they will indeed give out crew books for rental crews.

TragicLoss: If you're on the NA server you can win the lots for in-game goods. Physical goods have restrictions, as do the lots for event based offers from our partner (The Ontario Regiment Museum). Each section of the silent auction is noted with minor restrictions. 

The link to the silent auction is in a post above the list and on the first comment on the first page on this post. You can use the tracking page to see the top bids for each lot. When you see an item you want to bid on, submit a google form (linked in the tracking page) with your nomination. This form will gather all the information I need to send the winnings after the auction closes. As a bid nominator, you do not have to donate the amount you nominated until after the auction closes and you're contacted as a winner. Once the auction closes, I email the winners with instructions on what to put in the notes when donating to the main Tiltify link to secure your confirmation. It's quite simple actually. Just nominate the amount and wait/watch the lot you're wanting. You're free to nominate multiple times as the top bid goes up, but you will never have to donate the nominated amount unless you're contacted as a winner. You can also feel free to donate as normal to the charity even as the auction is going, but remember that the amount you nominate MUST be donated after being contacted with instructions.

churchill50:  I second this. The group I was running with last night was running almost exclusively Doubles. It's overall the best tank for the mode in my opinion.My suggestions would be:For Consumables, take the Instant Reload, personal heal (can't remember what it's called, but it's the far right option in the top row), and group heal (middle option in the top row).Use the ramming potential. Even with just normal mobility you can do 200-300 damage to the mobs by ramming. If you activate the Supercharger you can almost guaranteed kill them in one ram.When you get into a spawn, use a double shot then pop your Instant Reload and double shot again. Then just go single-shot.Between the ramming and double-double-shot, if you have 2-3 people doing that every spawn you can blow through the mobs really quickly. For the other tanks:The Hornet is decent due to the clip + Instant Reload. The mobility is also nice. However, once you get past Medium difficulty I'd probably avoid it. With the low hitpoints and lack of armor, you're far too vulnerable.The Cerberus is alright. Decent mobility, good gun performance, and high DPM. However, low alpha is an issue. It also lacks the ability to quickly clear spawns like the Double/Hornet/Grenadier can with their high up-front damage.The Legio Ferrata is bad. Low DPM/long reload and mediocre gun performance, not the best armor, and not the best mobility. I'd avoid this besides using it for the daily increased Decryption keys.The Malachite is alright as well. Decent DPM, good mobility, some armor. But it has the same issue as the Cerberus in that it lacks fast clearing ability.The Grenadier is... interesting. It can be incredibly strong, dumping 3k+ damage very quickly (with Instant Reload). However, it relies on some good RNG and facing lightly armored opponents. It also doesn't fare well against the Immortal, so it's relegated to clearing the mobs in the final phase. I'd mostly suggest running one of these in a platoon with some other tanks that can shore up its weaknesses. Random last tip, try to get extra Mirium in the first phase, since the first phase is easiest and any extra Mirium is transferred to the next phase. Hopefully that helps!

While yes, one can expect to perform less than they are capable of, it doesn't breed competence and greatness if it weren't the case. This is fallacy, and it is fallacy to even suggest it in the first place. Hubris too, an inability to accept someone's poorer play, but rather blame the tools that have at their disposal Only a poor, defeated blacksmith blames his tools. Ever hear of that?

We've got spooky scary Mirny tanks, tricks galore, and now we've got some treats to share with y'all. Not one but TWO Twitch Drop Campaigns! The first campaign kicks off today at 4:00 PM CT (16:00) with a special 3-hour long Mirny edition of 'Getting Good with Jambijon' on the World of Tanks NA Twitch channel. The campaign continues tomorrow, on October 28th, at 4:00 PM CT (16:00) with a special spoopy Halloween Variety stream from the WoTNA office break room. Join me, Tragicloss, Cmdr_AF, Jambijon, and KRZYBoop in some goofy Halloween themed shenanigans/party games and get some drops while you're at it. That's it for the first campaign, but there will be another Twitch Drops campaign running on participating Community Contributor channels through the weekend and all of the following week. Double the drops, double the fun.  There is just too much good stuff going on to cover in this forum post without writing an essay, so head on over to the article on our news portal for the whole scoop. 

1LT_Dwayne:  There are plenty of other games that are exactly for the tired hard working person that drinks beer and just want to vroom vroom pow pow and this is certainly not World of Tanks. Do you realise this game is harder than chest?

Draschel: Consider yourself luckyIS2-ii top gun, so called IS3-ii stock gun you are grinding with, actually competes with the top gun. Especially in front lines.The stock gun has enough pen  I would say, and offers better gun handling, better DPMAnd as far as grinding goes, not even 50% the credit cost per shell, yet over 75% the damage. Tanks like 257, STI, 705, T10 aren't so lucky. No where close, as they have disgusting bad stats with IS3  BL9 122 I always find tanks like Type 61, Centurion 7/1, Conqueror, WZ120 and WZ111111111111114, E50 and PTA, GSOR3301, 263, AMX50120  are extremely pleasant and more tanks should be like that. Offering stock armament you already grinded through in tier 8, available for the tier 9, and are half decent to use in terms of provided benefits, like DPM, gun handling, less weight

Draschel: Things rarely function in how they were thought and set to function. Adaptation is very important.For every one of you that doesn't care, and I know there are alot, be mindful of those that exist that do care.

churchill50: The SU-100M1 is definitely a great choice for that mission. Some others to consider would be:IS-M (as already mentioned by others), Obj 705, Obj 705A. All are insane sidescrapers that are mostly impenetrable when positioned correctly.Obj 777 II has some decent armor, and is rare enough that most people aren't too familiar with its armor layout. I've found it to be pretty effective at blocking damage.IS-4. Same as the Obj 777 II in that most people aren't too familiar with how to pen it, but with the added benefit of being able to overangle when sidescraping which makes most people think they can easily pen the side. The only downside is that the IS-4 has 2500+ HP (depending on equipment and field mods), so you'll need 5k blocked for that mission.The KV-4 might be decent, since most people underestimate it. The issue is that the turret and cupola are both weak and can't be hidden very well. Also note that if you take Improved Hardening to increase your HP, that also increases the amount of damage you need to block for that mission. So it can be best to drop Hardening while attempting this mission. Best of luck OP! Damage blocked missions are annoying. 

Einzelganger7:  I made some calculations and we need 170 keys (aka points), the hardest difficulty grants up to 5 points if we end as the top player and complete phase 3, 4 by second place and 3 by third place, so if we are an average player and obtain 3-4 points contstantly we would need around 48 matches or maybe less since they will bring daily missions that grant more points (1 daily mission for 1 key per tank).

Einzelganger7: Mirny is a really nice event and now it seems better, can't wait!

Jaguarz:  It can be less about tanks and more about compilation, you can do MT-15 in any tier but 10 has biggest pool spread so platoon with 2 buddies in TDs to propogate them on other side via MM (hopefully) and play a Batchat 25t because one clip is 80% of the job done. HV-15 I find the Pz7 my most effective tank to bounce stuff in because people cant resist shooting the lower plate but its not a weak point and you can angle it to be impenetrable to even jagzilla HEAT rounds. TD-15 you can use literally anything from T8 up effectively, I did mine in a SU-130PM

1LT_Dwayne: Because the game itself is base on very good mechanics and we have invested a lot of time grinding those crews? And we'd like to believe that maybe one day WG will understand this? I'm not a long time player and I like the game but sometimes the level of play is just to low to enjoy it. I don't care about my win rate but I will always try to win and this is how I have fun. First battle today I was in the T29 on Karelia and we were defending. So I decided to go H1 to use my turret but after couple of secs I noticed that I was alone. 2-3 TD's was helping me at the back but I didn't felt this was enough. I've been able to reach H1 but there was a 53tp, an IS and a tiger 1 on top on the hill at K-J2, a m41 bulldog around E4 that was shooting me from there, an E25 that made it to ditch at F2 and shooting me from behind and there was also an arty trying to shoot me. Yeah I know I should have carry.

Einzelganger7:  Yes, it is something that surprised me because that was the first thing I was searching. And even with those healing items we got the past year I consireded the event as one of the most enjoyable so if they got rid of them this time it would be the best of them all, for me of course. lol

Einzelganger7: Hmm... apparently we need 170 of those keys and we get an average of 3-4 if we do decently in the high difficulty so we might need around 48 matches to obtain the King Tiger C, I just hope the "radiation healing item" from the past year do not exist this time so we can play as much as we want per day without losing insane amounts of credits.
