In the stacked battles, as a average player, you are FAR more
likely to wind up on the auto-loss side than you are to wind up on
the auto-win side......2-1 in fact if you track them.

people are saying much more. Neato is absolutely correct
here. You end up on much worse teams because you are a
terrible player and you end up on every team you are on,
obviously. Conversely I am an ok player so every team I am on

Just watch my clip here to see what I am getting at:
Either that T25/2's mantlet is a portal to another dimension, or I must have fired a cotton wad at it.
A lot of us already know about ghost shells, and they have become ever-more common since 1.0, to the point of annoyance or of critical, game-changing shots being total busts.
But when will Wargaming ever do something about this widespread issue?
You know this is one of many problems in the game right now but why do you do nothing about it!?

KRZYBooP:
Doing my best to line up the
same shot in Tanks.gg its possible that shell normilization took
affect. Now that one spot wasn't easy to find but considering that
you shot was traveling upward-ish from a distance and hit the upper
part of the mantlet a ricochet/ bounce is very well what happened
and not a ghost shell.

But that doesnt mean that purples always have bad games and

fact of the matter is, the advanced skillset required in this game
is all about tactics, critical thinking, positioning, and
decisions. Yes, a better tank will always be much better, but
assuming that both players are in the same tank, there is only one
crew skill or equipment piece that will actually help with the
tactics and decision making required for skilled play - that being
sixth sense (which Im sure everyone agrees should be given to free
for everyone lile it is in ships and not be its own skill) the rest
help your tank perform better yes, but they dont improve your level
of skill. Which means that even with every skill unlocked in the
game, full Improved equipment, and even full gold rounds, a bad
player would still play much worse than I would in the same tank
and a zero skill 100% crew, with no equipment.

TeriyakiTanker: So the only news we got was from tankfest in which they stated they
were working on optimizing it and wanted to bring it back before
the end of the year. Basically said they don't want it to be
a permanent mode but an optional mode that comes back at regular
intervals. I did not see any word on what tier or tiers they
were considering for it or the frequency with which it would be
coming back.

TeriyakiTanker: I get into matches in less than 10 seconds most of the time.
You need to realize it is 922am eastern standard time on a
Wednesday most people are sleeping or at work. Is the game
dying? Of course it is, probably has a few years left before
it gets merged with the EU server. Personally I would not
suggest buying a tier 8 premium though, you will be seeing Tier 10
non-stop, so unless you like being bottom tier save your
money. But no the game is certainly not on its last legs,
aging but not dead.

CabbageMechanic: In my experience (having reviewed several hundred replays/videos of
ghost shells), they are caused by packet loss misrepresenting a
tank position 100% of the time. Packet loss can occur without
an extreme ping jump, and unfortunately, anything online is going
to occasionally have some burbles caused by imperfect information
transmission.
Although there was the one guy who managed to shoot between the hull and gun shield of a WT Pz. IV back in the day, that was quite the thing to see.

and credits we earned in the game. They are the same we
spend in the game so we can shoot our tank's guns etc etc
Call it what you can understand. The fact is,
there isn't any real money in the game is there. But
everything in the game costs something. To shoot your
cannon requires you to carry ammo. To put ammo
into your tank you pay WoT credits. You earn credits
don't you. And you pay they for the
ammo. Or you can pay for them with credits you bought
with gold which you paid for with real money that you earned
outside the game...…
You should get your understanding of all the silly-money used by the game straight. Until newbies EARN bonds and tokens or credits, they can't buy things can they. Of course they do have to buy gold with real money don't they. But "gold" can't pay for anything outside the game can it. Neither can bonds, credits, or tokens. But they are what is used to "get" shells, upgrades, improvements, crew skill, etc etc in the game aren't they.
Hope the explanation helps newbies understand the game a bit better. Or helps understand WG better, that is.

TeriyakiTanker: You are just straight dense, you don't pay for the
airstrikes you earn them by completing the stages in
frontline and once earned you can use them forever without getting
charged anything. The tokens were only good for getting the
special skills and are not really a form of currency..... but yeah
you know what you are talking about.

Subject: [Supertest] Mapa "Kharkov" - Parte I
Link on message: #11723112
Link on message: #11723112
Felipe6666Original: ¡Saludos, Comandantes!

el minimapa) y otros de dos de un solo sentido (marcados con rojo;

for the Chrysler K:

- The potential STG Guard permaskin removal and -
Maybe some more actual remodels in the future. EDIT: Not big
enough to get its own post, but if youve been using the IS-7 with
raised machine gun, please redownload, Ive fixed a rather large
model error that Im not sure how it got past me. The entire turret
was flipped along the X-axis... Its probably affected nothing...
but now its correct... if that matters to you the download has been
updated. (The easiest way to see this is to look at the antenna on
the turret, if youre lookingat the tank from the front and its on
the right, you need to update. It should be on the left.).

!KRZYBooP: Not blaming anything. Just recommending support to try and
resolve the issue. My first glance makes me think it's
internet related but issues like this have many rabbit holes to
dive down. Server issues are usually more widespread.
If there is an issue everyone should fill out a support
ticket so our team can investigate.

DomoSapien: Hi folks,
Just a quick announcement regarding Map Mondays. I know I have been a bit hit or miss recently with getting the weekly guides posted. Some urgent stuff came up last minute that requires my attention, and I won't be able to dedicate the amount of time I need in order to put out a quality guide today.
With this in mind I will be pushing it back until tomorrow, 7/10. Thank you for all your patience. I'll make sure it's a good one

DomoSapien: I also noticed the dot next to your ping is red virtually the
entire time. That dot signifies packet loss, which isn't the same
thing as ping. Your ping is fine but you seem to be experiencing
some pretty substantial packet loss, which might be preventing you
from receiving the packets from the server that show the enemy's
position.

rendered on my screen but then magically appeared in the replay
file. It's very hard to catch invisible tanks on video
because well, they're invisible. But last night I finally
caught my lucky break. I used my screen recording software to
catch a short clip of the battle where I'm shot by an
invisible tank. If you look at the replay however the tank is
clearly visible. For those not aware, the screen recording
software basically records what my graphics card is seeing, whereas
the world of tanks replay is more than a mere audio video file, but
rather contains information not available from a simple
recording. In this youtube video I show what my screen
saw and what was actually happening in the battle that I couldn't
see. I understand how spotting mechanics work.
This is not a spotting mechanics thing because I got the little
notification on my screen saying the Wolverine was spotted, (even
though he never rendered or showed up on the map). I
don't think these players are hacking, I think it's just a glitch
with the game. Never the less this is still a problem and a
solution needs to be found, whether it's the games fault or my
computer. Anyway here's the video, you decide for
yourself.

into this further? Game files, replays, and hardware config
are needed in order to investigate the issue. If
others are experiencing the same issue then please supply support
with your files. I know I have never seen anything like that happen
to me in my games.
