pushing even into 1960s. The game is not limited to the tanks that

MrVic: The NDA is in effect and advertising posting or having links to
such material is not acceptable. Just because its on the web and
has not been removed does not mean it can be spread around
So please refrain from doing so.
Soon the NDA will be gone and we can share all the fun vids people have
Currently due to the recent screenshot contest the NDA was removed for "Screenshots" only. It still applies in all other regards.
Thanks!

MrVic: The NDA is in effect, Installing the client there is a NDA listed
everyone agrees to and one at beta registration if I remember
correctly. Also its been stated its in effect. Also there is a
thread regarding posts and reminding that the NDA is in effect.
http://forum.worldof...-notifications/
To repeat myself The NDA is in Effect!
Also in regards to the screenshot contest. quote "World of Tanks team has decided to annul the NDA that prohibited our beta testers to post screenshots of the game" Hence the word screenshots
Not videos and not beta content
discussions including but not limited to balance, bugs, issues.
Screen shots for the contest are permitted. So video ect posted on
youtube will be tracked down and can result in Bans ect.
I am sure everyone read their registration and install agreements

merig00: And here is that town which is being created by a map artist Sasha
Aseckaya. We were impressed how specific and precise is her
reproduction of paving stones on one of the streets... we just roll
over it and don't really pay attention but the stones are from the
real photo of 1944, though on the photo there are american troops
marching on those stones.

The defensive "Siegfried Line" is being created with the same attention to the details - with lines of antitanks obstacles which are identical to the historical barriers.

"Libyan desert will be an amazing map!" - said the head level-designer Pavel Ananev. And right away he showed us the sketch where you can see the landing field, oasis with palms and distinctive houses.

After that the got a sneak peak at a scenic shore of northern France with rocks and a lighthouse.

In the neighboring hangars new tanks are getting the final touches

There is not that much time left - saying devs gesticulating with their hands and watches.

And the shadow of the Wipe is already inexorably standing behind them...

Speaking of which, we were a little bit disappointed by the PR-manager Dmintriy Pinchuk. We came up to him all relaxed so not to scare him off and asked him the usual: "And the last, traditional question..." Dmitriy thought that we'll ask about the creative plans. But we asked him to look us in the eyes and answer without thinking, and screamed together in his ears: "WHEN IS THE WIPE?!!!!" Unfortunately, Dmitriy is a well trained professional...

merig00: Several russian players visited the Wargaming's office to see how
the tanks are made. I just translated it.
We found the Wargaming.net nest by accident. We were just driving... Standard street, standard office building, standard parki... Stop! We saw something unusual on the parking lot, that made us to hit the breaks and rush into the assembly workshops where our tanks are being put together. There are rumors that Overlord drives to work that green thing with a huge gun.

I must admit, the place was nothing that we imagined. There were no foundry or clanking of metal. It's just two office floors filled with computers on which our game is made by young guys like these:

The Community Management department was also nothing like I have imagined. First of all it's very large - 15 people. Secondly, all they were holding in their hands - computer mouse: no carrots, no whips or other trade tools of an Admin and Moderator. Even their boss Lena Nosova did not have some mere banhammer, so she was forced to answer our questions.
Even though most people are young they approach their work very responsibly. For example, when doing especially important work every employee has to wear personal tank helmet. (just kidding - we just asked one of the artists Vitaliy Lashkov to put it on to create appropriate atmosphere).

And here Pavel Stasevich shows us sketches of awards, which will be given to players for their achievements.

Two fragments of the above picture are worth of cropping. For example, here are medals and badges. It is important to notice that they decided not to copy the real rewards of the Second World War ("We figured that we have no right to give out real medals, even drawn, for the game achievements.") The most significant medals are named after famous tankers (see our FAQ on hero of the battle).

And here are the books laying on the devs tables. The most interesting ones are the top one (Luftwaffe squardrons 1930-1945) and bottom one (Planes of Germany). Who knows what to expect from them.

Just like during the war, everything for the front is made by women' hands. And these hands are so used to work with armor, that... For example we asked the 3D-Manager Yulia Vasileva to do a quick demonstration and sketch us BMW SUV (top right). No matter what Yulya did - the sketch always ended up being a tank.

Not only tanks, but other objects in the game have real life prototypes. This is an example how using a real picture a in game horse sculpture is made. The memorial to some Prussian imperator will be standing on one of the squares of old german town.

IT IS NOT bug or auto aim assist or anything..it is just pure different angle of view between your camera in "over the shoulder" and gun .ZOOM in and your view and gun muzzle will be in same line and you will lost any kind of diference in view.
FrostPaw, on 02 August 2010 - 02:20 PM, said: Where you WANT the gun to aim is restricted by where the turret and
gun barrel can ACTUALLY aim, slopes in terrain, objects between the
gun trajectory and your aiming pointer will throw your crews
ability to aim at what you are asking them to.
This is confusing because while in 3rd person view you can see ABOVE your tanks actual turret and therfore you can point your reticle at what you see where as from inside the tank thier view isn't as great.
