ARGO: Those T-34-85s carry a 100mm cannon, They will hurt you.....BAD.
VKs all have 88mm....Sniper special. To put it to rest, any tank at
any given time has the ability to hit the right spot or lite you
up. Heck I saw a Pz3 put the finishing touch on a Maus once.

ARGO: Ah yes, the T-54.....the new accused villan of WoT. Seriously. 1st
it was Leos, then T-44s, then Arty, the ISU-152, Then the IS4, Then
Arty again, and now the T-54.....sigh....Anyways making the
buildings destructable would be far more interesting then removing
them.

ARGO: I would have to say your pretty much on par with most heavies but
if you want to improve your odds, don't let your self beleive that
your heavies invulnerable. Use "peek A boo" and "pot shot" tactics
as well as sniping to last longer. I have tier 9 and 10 tanks and I
have been known to play sniper with them because it can confuse the
enemy into thinking I am a TD and wondering a little to close.
Train your crew to 100%, get a camo net, and you may consider a
tool box and or verticle stabilizer to give your heavy better
chances of hanging in a dog fight longer.
Or simply watch how other play and adapt it to your own style.

Tanitha: Could be lots of things, apart from your internet.
Even if you are set to low, there is other settings now that were introduced a while ago.
like
full screen/ windowed.
vertical synchronization
screen res
wide screen.
anti aliasing.
And settings in your graphics card can override game settings. Especially with things like AA
Apart from graphics, things like Trojan's / viruses etc.. So do some full thorough scans for both.
Other things like skins. have you replaced the default skins with ones that are 100x bigger, that take your computer ages to load up?
Etc Etc Etc.
Many things to try with problem solving, the only way to work out the problem is to work through the possibilities and cross them off.

ARGO: Ok where do I begin, Well I am sure you all "or at least anyone
whos been in the game for over 2 months" can attest to is that we
all have heard the claims regarding the infamous T-44 and how OP it
is, how it has armour that bounces everything and how until the
T-54 came out that it was regarded as a "Noob Tank" meaning a tank
for people with no skill to get kills. Well I have finally broke
down and got me one of these supposedly OP tanks and took it out
for some tests in the old training room along with my buddy in his
panther and now I will give you my first impressions report on what
I found about this tank.
So, Is the grass greener on the other side as far as the T-44 goes?
NO....As far as I can see, this tank is FAR from being OP as a tank can get, In fact if you do want to stick OP anywhere on this mythe you should put it under OP = Over Priced for repairs.
Now by no means am I complaining so don't take me wrong here, I am simply pointing out that the T-44 is no better than most of it's same tier cousins and I know, I have most of them.
So heres the break down in my humble opinion:
The T-44 behaves a lot like the T-23 in the way it maneuvers, Although it turns real smooth and has good speed, It cannot catch or out maneuver a Sherman E8 so don't let the ride get to your head when in this tank because it may be fast but it ain't no Leo or Sherman.
The guns on this tank are nice and there is a very good selection, I will say that even it's lower scaled gun can do damage to bigger tanks but no more than your T-23 until you get into the 100mm or the 122mm. Keep in mind that unless yoru crew is high 90s or 100, your gonna miss a lot of shots.....This tank is no sniper, it's more or less the Doberman Pincsher of tanks.
It's armour is descent and hold up well, I did some tests against a Panther and the Panther won but the Pnther also didn't stroll out of the training room, it more or less needed a tow if you know what I mean.
So in closing I will say that the T-44 to me is more luck then legend so don't believe the hype because I think if you are getting pounded by one, It's most likely luck your facing or a very skilled T-44 jockey.

Overlord: The values are correct. It's all about of design philosophy for
certain mantlets (KT, JT, VK4502, Maus), US and Soviet tanks don't
have this issue. The armor values of German mantlets are going to
remain mostly, it is mantlet penetration mechanics that will be
adjusted.

Perhaps a volunteer guide system should be implemented? Where guides can volunteer time to go unobserved into games and watch what other players do. That would also help the TK'r and grief player issues.

Overlord: Consistent afk players can be banned for botting. Up to permanent

Overlord: No, it's not all about assigning new values, changes of tank
hit-boxes and enabling server-side support for "armor-schielding"
mechanics are required as well. All in all quite time-consuming.
Overall projected performance boost is unlikely to exceed 1% (for
Maus approx 1.5-2%), since mantlet covers relatively small area of
the front armor.

Regardless, I've noticed while playing my Tier III Panzer II that I only ever get the following four maps: Malinovka, Himmelsdorf, Prokhorovka, Pagorki. If memory serves, these were the first maps available in beta. Perhaps this is by design, so that newer players aren't made to cope with some of the more "complex" maps that were added later, but I suspect something was overlooked in the code and it does not allow a random battle in low tiers to occur on newer maps.
Just for reference, I play the PzII quite a bit since it's more fun than my Tier 9's, so I've observed this over a fairly large number of battles. Additionally, I do not run into this problem in my PzIII, a tier IV tank that I also log many games in.

Overlord: Indeed we may have different opinions on the issue. Since reworking
of all German mantlets requires much time and effort, Maus is
likley to be used as guinea-pig to assess new system in internal
testing.

Failing to fix the spotting issues, providing more game modes than the current team on team, the lack of completed tech trees for the initial three nations, and the slow patching process all adds up to game failure in my opinion.
Pity too, WoT had such promise. I hope that these shortcomings are corrected before release, but it seems like the devs don't want to listen to their player base and that will not work well for wargaming.net.

Overlord: Crazy idea indeed. 
The reasons for postponing the start of clan wars beta on EU and US are solely technical. EU and US players will have enough time to master clan wars before switching to the single global map for all 3 servers.
