The main reason for this is that adding it to the store would create additional development projects, because a tank isn't simply added to the store automatically by existing in the game. They have to be manually added, otherwise tanks we shouldn't be selling (like the pre-order tanks, alpha/beta rewards, etc.) would show up -- which would be bad.
And the fact of the matter is, we're tired of the M103 and T110 being delayed as much as you guys are. So we decided the best approach would be to get those released now, introduce the new TD branch and make the T34 a premium. After 7.2 is released we can then approach the discussion about whether or not -- or better yet when -- the T34 is added to the store as a purchasable premium tank.

It will most likely not be for sale in 7.2; however, special offers in the store are a possibility for the future.

GeneralDirection: Yes, there is discussion related to the hull of the T110, thanks to this thread and others. I highly recommend going through the thread because there have been a lot of great debates as to the design of the T110, as well as other random epic and even legendary comments and images posted. It's a very Hall of Fame-worthy thread, IMO.

GeneralDirection: I just wanted to give an explanation on team names because it's clear that there were some confusions in the rules. I also discovered a few unexpected issues with name length, preventing some clans from using their proper clan name.
To that end, I was a bit more lenient in accepting teams. I accepted teams that either:
Used their actual clan nameUsed something that was as close as possible to the clan name with the team name length limitationsUsed their clan tag
However, there were a few teams that used names completely unrelated to their clan. These teams were not allowed to participate, because they clearly ignored the rules on team names -- possibly the rules as a whole. For the next clan tournament we will change the rules to require the clan tag, rather than the clan name, so that there aren't any issues like the above-mentioned.
We will not tolerate inappropriate team names. Just because you can make it, doesn't mean you should. That said, we will not hand out any punishment for this beyond not allowing a team to participate, so long as it does not become a problem.

GeneralDirection: I'm at home right now so I will not be making any changes to the tournament until Monday morning. On the bright side, we didn't run into a situation where two teams were representing the same clan.
We also didn't have to decline many teams due to not following the rules -- only a few, alongside many teams that did not meet the member requirements.
This means there are 81 teams eligible for participation in the tournament. This is going to result in a first round that is a bit wonky, with teams receiving byes.
Unfortunately this has to happen for later rounds to play out properly; if we set it up so that at least 80 out of the 81 teams played, it would result in byes in later rounds. Obviously outside of limiting it to 64 teams, allowing byes in the first round is a better solution.
To be honest, it's the best solution in my opinion. I'd rather byes in the first round than telling 17 teams they couldn't participate, and I hope you guys agree with me.
We'll have the schedule finished up early Monday and posted, and the first round scheduled for 6PM PST on Feb. 6 (02:00 UTC on Feb. 7) as originally planned.

GeneralDirection: Yeah, sorry -- your team was declined for its name. Not only is it an inappropriate name (a clan would be disbanded with a name like that), but it's also not the name of your clan. That's required in the rules.

GeneralDirection: Can I get a link to your team? I have a feeling your team is one that is not named the same as your clan. I've been a bit lenient in that rule and allowing clans that used their clan tag instead, but the teams I've declined so far had names completely unrelated to their clan.
If your team wasn't declined legitimately for that reason, I can fix it. I'll also extend a chance to change your team's name since there have only been three so far declined for that reason.
In the future we'll probably be more strict about the rules, because it does say in the rules that the name has to include the clan name. I'll be changing it to the clan tag being required, though, due to name length limitations.
