SWAMI_, on Mar 31 2012 - 21:12, said: I've heard that since I own an IS-4 and IS-7 I can automatically
get the T90. Correct?GeneralDirection: Not for free, but the more top-tier vehicles you have when the
update releases, the cheaper in credit cost the T-90 will be. This
discount will slowly decay back to normal cost, so make sure to
save up the expected 2,486,093 experience needed to go from the
T-54 to the T-90 right away -- that way you can take advantage of
the credit discount at its peak.

lord_farquad: No worries we will definitely see that spread again, but I
deffinitely agree that this was the wrong map for it.
I am still considering the current tier spread, nothing will be completely final until the tournament pages are posted.

We all know that THE tier 5 light is the T-50-2 which normally gets assigned up to T10 matches.
Tier 6 arty is also maybe a bit high for tier 7 heavies.
I'd think that you either go: 7/7/6/4/5 or 8/8/7/5/6.
And finally...timing...considering most of the previous few finalists have been from Aus it'd be fair to run it later so we can defend our "rankings".

North American sports. We are going to finalize what will happen if
teams are tied for placement next week.

arty to 6 would ensure the map gets camped into oblivion, Tier 5
arty already 1 HEAT round is 2/3 of any tanks HP. I think tier 5
will be sufficient to match tier 7 heavy/medium tier 8 TD. I also
like the tier 8 TD limit, something new and exciting to add I
thought since TD's haven't had much role in the last few.
I think the current problems lie with the map choice and total point limit being to high
edit: just saw the update post so disregard if necessary please

lord_farquad: I partly agree, which is why I increased the medium tier limit.
This way with high tier arties and mediums (not to mention the tier
5 lights) , camping should be very difficult.

the rule "2 points for every tank destroyed" to "1 point per tier
of tank destroyed" So if you come up against a non lol-company, you
actually have a better chance to win the contest.
Example: max points against a lawl company was 43.
With the simple rule change: destroying a 40 point team, while having 5 lawltractors left alive would = 45 points.
while a perfect score against a lawl company would = 23.
You could even add that lawltractors are worth 2 points to keep the score structure similar to this event.

Gaea: We don't usually change the rules about the point calculations
after everyone has submitted their games. We are changing the rules
for the next company contest we do. The only thing we are changing
for this one is how the gold prizes are given out, not the actual
point calculations.
