Einzelganger7: My guess is Räummpanzer and Panzer58/Mutz/Schwarzpanzer could be part of those 15 tanks to be buffed in the future, the first needs at least better power to weight ratio and ground resistances while the other three just by increasing alpha or reload speed like Indien Panzer parameters.

TeriyakiTanker: When they open it back up for testing the second iteration of Crew 2.0 or something else they will put it back on. The Sandbox is not the test server.  They are used for testing things in different stages of their life cycle.  The Sandbox Server is used for testing potential changes that may be used in the future and are in a stage that is open to drastic change or even being dropped.  The actual test server is more for changes that are coming for sure but may get little tweaks before going live.  Often times used for mass testing to ensure the change is balanced the way they want.

TeriyakiTanker: Based on the feedback they are getting it seems unlikely that they will implement crew 2.0 in anything like what they tested, if they even implement it at all.  This reminds me of Rubicon in how the community is reacting.  And they cancelled that.

TeriyakiTanker: And you too are a moron who is commenting without actually watching the video.  He mentions that multiple times and literally calls it disgusting.

TeriyakiTanker: No that isn't even close to what I spend.  On average I usually make about 20-30k and on a loss I usually lose about that much but it depends on how you do.  My most played Tier X is the BatChat and I average 2199 dmg over like 800 games.  I do not use large consumables but I do use food.  Here are some things you can do to play at tier X and either make money or not lose money 1.  Get premium time, yes it costs money but a lot less than $50 a month, just buy a year2.  Pop a credit booster, that +50% silver will really help you3.  Start taking advantage of sales on consumables, that extra 10,000 silver every battle will really help4.  Do not shoot gold unless you have to5.  You need to win6.  Play special game modes to earn free directives and premium consumables.  I still have 100s of camo directives from Frontline and Steel Hunter If you are spending real world money to play tier X you are really doing something wrong.  You should really be playing Tier VIII premium tanks, and to be honest you can buy one every month for $50 so its something to consider.  The benefit of the premium tanks beyond silver is that you can really enhance their training with the x1.5 crew experience.  This really helps a lot especially since it looks like you are trying to play higher tiers without the repair skill which I think is even more important than camo.

TeriyakiTanker: Because after the cheating scandal they nerfed the hell out of it.

TeriyakiTanker: I'm thinking that is what they are doing.  I like the idea.

TeriyakiTanker: The short answer is yes you are. The slightly longer answer being that if your tank is noticeably different to play than yes you are getting screwed as your personal gaming experience is worse than it was before.  But perhaps more importantly the difference between good, mediocre, and bad players will be drastically widened.  For instance my leopard PTA has a good enough crew to get 75 points and get a 17% bonus to handling.  My Leopard PTA is ridiculously better at what I want it to do.  I am guessing all the poor schmucks will not be real happy that I shaved off another .2 seconds off my reload AND added almost 50 meters to my view range.   So to recap even if everyone is getting screwed the same I would still be getting screwed BUT MORE IMORTANTLY NOT EVERYONE IS GETTING SCREWED THE SAME.

TeriyakiTanker: If you think that was bad you should have seen an EBR 105 game where he got 10k spotting just driving around right in front of other tier X tanks who couldn't see him at 200 meters, it was absolutely ridiculous.

We are fast approaching International Women's Day on March 8, and this year we decided to host a new community event celebrating our female tankers!

Please share your stories about why you play World of Tanks and what it means to you. We'll be taking some and putting them in an article on March 9th.
I'll start!

I started playing World of Tanks in 2013...My dad introduced me to the game. He had brought home some invite codes and told me we could play together, so I happily punched in for a new account. We spent a good chunk of time playing whenever we could. I became incredibly invested very quickly; I began participating in the forums, attending every live stream, and live event, and even joined a clan. I made quite a lot of friends and rose up to be one of a few small streamers and eventually even made it into one of the first iterations of Content Creator programs. I grew to be a recognizable name in a few circles. I was lucky enough to stand out in the crowd and joined a Chapter in a Charity based around World of Tanks streams. This was just the beginning of my involvement.

I had applied to work for Wargaming twice, the first time I was unable to land a position, but Wargaming staff now knew I was serious. The second time came after I had attended a Q&A session with a group of WoT Contributors to meet Victor Kislyi. The Q&A was a huge part of my continued drive to apply. I made it a point to apply to another position, Events coordinator. I wasn't hired, no matter. Another position opened a couple of months later and I threw my hat into the ring again for Community Coordinator. The rest of my story is all in the streams on our Twitch channel, on image files from Let's Battle Tour, and in the minds of the amazing friends I've made from Wargaming.


World of Tanks started out as father-daughter bonding and grew quickly into a career I would be happy to tell myself from 8 years ago about.

So your stance is that if everyone is getting screwed it’s ok because it’s not just you getting screwed?  And that should make people happier?

Don’t think what you are saying is correct.  You will still need to pay to put a crew in a new tank in 2.0 the only difference being you pay it all to fit moving the commander but most importantly Crew 2.0 will not be out for months if it comes out at all.

Einzelganger7: You need to record it first, you can't just upload a .wotreplay file and that's it. You can record it with OBS and then upload the video to youtube.

TeriyakiTanker: It is interesting that they managed to leave you feeling like your tank was broadly worse but in reality you could tailor it to be specifically better at certain things.  It makes me wonder if they don't need to hire some better play testers or even if they playtest anything at all.  It took players a matter of minutes looking at things to realize how broken you could make EBRs.

KRZYBooP:  I haven't had the chance to dive into the sandbox, but all of us share our player's concerns with the cons of the changes. Remember these aren't 100% going into the game right yet. Your Community team is asking all the same questions that are being brought up and trying to find easy solutions. 

My opinion in the situation is that our Devs want to break the constant only one logical choice for our player's as you saw with equipment 2.0. 10 years of having all crew with the same set of skills some of which affect things that you don't really notice. Smooth ride? Off-road driving?! Isn't it a tank that does everything off-road? Who would put someone in the driver's seat and then tell them to pull over to swap out for someone that has off-road training? 

Our job isn't to sell the changes to players, or argue and debate. We are here to share the voice of our players, keep forums and other topics game-related. Yes, you caught me I am an advocate of optimism and try to light up some good in the changes that are proposed in some forum posts. Maybe even try to dispel some specific hat-wearing players, but that is just who I am as a person.  

KRZYBooP:  It is my favorite tank. I am not that great at the game and some games in Arty having a good time helps with keeping me engaged. 
The tank's only saving grace is that it rapid fires.

New players have every opportunity to get this tank through our sales/ gift boxes.  Yea it's top for damage but was that statistic from all time? As in what are the stats since after the Arty reworks. 
Lef bottom tier isn't that fun especially in a tier 7 battle when you are pinging players for 23 in HE damage and the "premium" round bounces 75%-99% of the time. For me, it's 99%.  TLDR Lef doesn't deal damage in HE, it doesn't stun, and its ridiculously slow even for an arty. 
Only good thing is how far and how often it can shoot in specific maps that don't have buildings or mountains in the way. 

BTW there isn't winning or losing a debate. You have your ideas and opinions and I have mine. It can drive players away or when it's for sale attract new players to buy it and play. 

KRZYBooP: Three Lefs sounds like a fun time for Wheeled/ Light tanks to go hunt down. 

TeriyakiTanker: It was only available for a very short time and literally no one got it legit before they shut it down.

Einzelganger7: I know I am just an average player and marking tanks is almost routine by many but I finally managed to three mark the StuG III ausf. G and I am so happy! I hope to be able to mark more soon (Tiger II at 90.61% Nashorn at 89.25%, Jagdpanther at 86.74%). Aaand that's it! I just wanted to show it, heh.

TeriyakiTanker: Ohhh god no, giving a free tier X to everyone would just be terrible, but charging like 8000 bonds for it would be enough to keep it out of the hands of people just starting the game and still be a slap in the face to the people who cheated.

TeriyakiTanker: Is that back to where it was before the cheater nerfs?  And more importantly isnt the cheater version called the "T-22s" and would these changes apply to a differently named tank or is this suggesting that a non "s" version will be coming back soon?
