Gaea: Yep guys, we're keeping an eye on this - it's still being investigated but everyone that got banned because of this will get unbanned.
If you do have this issue and send it a ticket, be sure to send it to "Penalty Appeals" so that i can get dealt with within 15-20 minutes.

This has come up in the past when trying to use the Public Test Client when the test server is down.

A news update will be published on the community portal once the tournament page is live and registration is available.Registration begins: September 28, 2012
Registration ends: September 30, 2012 at 3PM PST Victory Conditions
The winner of each round will be determined as the first to 3 victories on a given map.
Each battle will last 15 minutes.
The Encounter battle mode will be used for this tournament.
Tier & Point Limits
With maximum number of 7 players per battle, a team (maximum 10 players per team) must field a selection of tanks based on the below tier limits. Teams are also limited to a maximum total of 42 tier points.Tier 8 is the maximum tier for all tanks No other tank types allowed.
Schedule
Rounds will begin at 7:30PM PDT (10:30PM EST, 02:30 UTC) each scheduled day.

I think you'd more likely get a detailed response in the contest thread but I can tell you what I know, which is that we were blown away by how many people participated and the process of selecting winners is far more complex than say a bumper sticker contest. So now that we've landed this enormous update I expect the "design a tournament" contest to get some resolution and you should begin to see the results posted and put into action.
Additionally, I believe there were so many incredible submissions that we've expanded the number of winners.
So I would definitely check out the contest section for news.

Mugsy_: There are so many variables involved in these types of things that one learns not to speak in absolutes. This was an enormous update with many changes and we're doing our best to make sure everything functions as we intended. However, tonight is the first night of Clan Wars 8.0 and it is possible a curve ball could present itself. I don't think presenting a false certainty would serve any of us.
That being said, if something doesn't function as intended please let me know right away and I will devote myself to correcting it.

The Sabotage feature details haven't been released yet but I can say that you'll be able to train and deploy saboteurs which will enable you to then choose from several different kinds of sabotage that can be waged against enemies.
